The house is as exactly like the pictures. That particular house only has a front screened in porch and shared patio.
Glad there was only one other guest staying in the other attached unit as there are three connected units, so privacy is limited. Convenient to the beach access and the small shops in the area. No heavy traffic or loud noises! House was very clean and pet friendly. Would definitely stay again.

This old house is in great location and great neighborhood. Very clean and nicely renovated with top notch kitchen. If you need to cook, you have almost everything; many good quality appliances, dishes, pots and pans. Excellent!!

Loved this cottage! It was exactly as listed and in the pictures. It was very clean, the beds were really comfortable and it was very well stocked. The location is great. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. It was a very short walk to the waterfront and shops/restaurants.

Last minute reservation because our other VRBO cancelled the night before our trip. The property manager took care of everything and was such a relief to find such a gem last minute vacant. The location was perfect for us, close to great food and activities. The home was clean and set up amazingly for our stay. Best VRBO experience to date for us, would highly recommend!

The Palm Cottage is your home away from home. Excellent location. Everything—restaurants, bars, shops, beach, library, theater, parks (except grocery stores)—are all within easy walking distance. Saint Pete Beach and Saint Pete City are each only 15-20 minute drives away. The cottage itself is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We have stayed in rentals where everything was furnished by Walmart, but this is not the case for this bungalow. The kitchen has every imaginable tool and accessory that you could possibly need. It is better stocked than my home kitchen. The beds are comfortable, and there are televisions in every room. If there’s any limitation, it’s that you have to walk around the house to access the outdoor patio and grill as well as the laundry room. But, these are absolutely inconsequential compared to the benefits of this extraordinary vacation property.

This was the perfect size of property for myself and my 20 y/o daughter. We each had a little privacy but not too big. Location is so nice with the water nearby and all the little shops and restaurants. Also quick drive to the Gulf and John’s Pass as well as quick access back to the airport. Would absolutely consider renting here again.

Such a quaint home in a quaint town. Superb location and comfortable home. The living and porch were roomier than I expected. Our kids loved finishing two of the puzzles offered at the cottage. The digital display screen with reminders and recommendations was a great touch. The kitchen was fully stocked and the a/c was lovely. The grounds are gorgeous. We threw the football in the yard, grilling out, and sat with the chairs facing the ocean. We used the bikes and did not regret one second of them. Pias Italian restaurant is quite authentic and if you drive for the view at Woodys in St. Pete Beach, you will not be disappointed. We drove to a small park next to the marina and fished off a few of the many docks located within beaten trails while our son rode his bike. The Sea Breeze Manor is so close and offers a great breakfast. We hope to stay again at the beautiful Palm Cottage.

Palm Cottage
We enjoyed our stay at Palm Cottage! The cottage was very neat, well stocked with many appliances, dishes, towels, and everything to meet our vacation needs. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and loved the convenient location where we could easily walk to the center of Gulfport and the proximity to its’ beach. The virtual concierge was handy and informative.

We stayed at Palm Cottage for 2 weeks in June 2021. The cottage is very clean and has most everything you need and more! The only thing we missed was having a Keurig coffee maker.The cottage is part of a three unit property but very private and beautifully is located one block from the beach and a 5 minute walk to all the cute, funky shops and restaurants on Beach Blvd.We love Gulfport. The people are friendly and it has that artsy Key West vibe! Beth the property manager is very easy to deal with and the Digital Concierge is awesome! This is the third Splashy Venture property that we have stayed in Gulfport and will definitely come again.Hope to return next year!

Palm Cottage is absolutely wonderful - a beautiful two-bedroom place in Gulfport, nicely furnished and well-kept. It's located on a charming red brick street, close to the beach but not so close that you hear any noise from the bars and restaurants. Beth was an excellent host, always easy to reach and informative. We grew up in the area as kids and this is Gulfport - and the broader St. Petersburg area - at its best. Highly recommended!

We have never seen a better equipped kitchen. You could prepare a 4 course meal if so desired.
The location is just right for strolling to the beachfront or to Beach St for the shopping and food.
The "needed" shopping like groceries, pharmacy, etc. are near by, as well as St. Pete Beach or Fort Desoto ( cool beaches).

Location, Location, Location
The house was very, very clean. Everything you would need in the kitchen. Barbecue was brand new and worked great! So close to beach and little town area for music, food and drinks. My only thought would be that it was advertised that there was a wood burning fireplace and then a couple of days before arrival an email said not to use. It was one of the reasons we rented there.
