One small thing we missed having a toaster & the supermarket didn’t stock them. Is this an English thing? Suggest a spare key could be left in a SafeKey box or with a neighbour as apparently we were not the first visitors to get locked out this year. Had a really great time and the weather was amazing

We very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 4 weeks in October and almost every day was sunny! The train and bus and supermarket are right beside the door and there are great walks as well as train excursions. We went to Nice, St.Paul, Menton and SanRemo, no car needed. The centre of town with its coffee shops and market square, is 3 minutes away The apartment has beautiful views from the long balcony, and a large bedroom. There is another room used as a TV lounge which would make a nice second bedroom. The third double bed is accessed by a ladder suitable for more active people! It would be a bit tight for 6 people as there is only one shower/toilet. There is an elevator to the first floor where the apartment is situated. Everything we needed was provided in the kitchen, but some people might miss having a microwave oven. If there is an ironing board, we did not find it! The wifi was very good. With nice Eastern decoration and reclining chairs, we were very comfortable in this apartment and hope to visit again soon. Thank you Francis!

Location: in the center of Beaulieu, just as described. Interior: the apartment is not really like presented on the pictures. The pictures are polished and show a stylish designer apartment with furniture and antique, although the apartment is shabby, the furniture is pretty old and not in good condition. The apartment itself does not have built-in air conditioning and to cool the room you have to use a mobile device which works if you take it’s tube, open the balcony and put the tube to the balcony. At the same time you cannot close the balcony because of the tube, thus the air-conditioning cools and hot air inevitably enters the apartment through the open balcony door. The curtains on the windows are very shabby and old, look like rags; they are torn and repaired in some places. The linen was not ironed for our arrival, rather crumpled. The fans sometimes refused to work. A little bit unstable. The fridge door don't close well and it was suggested by the property owner using some kind of fixing straps to close the door. And besides, there are a lot of little instructions to follow for simple devices which should function normally whithout any special care.
