Situated in Wamberal, this charming house for $828 per night is a great option for your next trip. This fabulous 5 bedroom house , just minutes drive from Terrigal Beach, is ideal for a group of friends or family looking for a change of scenery with plenty of options for fun things to do both in the house and around the area. This newly renovated house includes: - Sparkling swimming pool with massage jets - 8 person Hot Tub - Sonos Music steaming to built in ceiling speakers - Pool side covered entertaining area - Cinema Room with seating for 10+ and reclining chairs - Games room with Pool Table, Table Tennis and Fuzeball - Laundry - Washer/Dryer - 5 Separate Bedrooms (1 King, 2 x Queen and 2 x 2 Singles). 4 bedrooms have ceiling fans above the beds to keep them cool. - All Linen included (bedding & towels) Just imagine, you could.... Sun bake by the pool Unwind in Spa Walk to the public golf course and play a cheaky 9 holes Enjoy the family games on site Load up with popcorn and Ice Cream in the Cinema Walk to the beach for a surf / swim / boat / waterskiing / fishing / diving. Paddleboat and canoe hire at Terrigal Lagoon Arrange a day of wine tasting in Hunter Valley Enjoy the walkig trails at nearby Wyrrabalong National Park We supply all bedding, towels etc Like all modern properties, we have adopted a modern security approach. We have 2 outside security cameras. One monitoring the front of the property, facing the road (maily used to check when the cleaner has been, laundry collected etc). The second motitors the back entrance from a far distance, and faces away from the property and does not cover the spa or pool, or look into the property. These devices are for security when the house is not in use, and not monitored during a guest stay. We also have a noise monitoring device, placed in the outside entertaining area which will alert us when the noise levels reach an unacceptable level concidered a "loud party".

Great place to relax with family or friends. Close to all action in the central coast, but also has lots to offer if you just want to stay indoors and take it easy. The games room, pool and jacuzzi was a hit with the family. Would love to visit again

This property was a perfect choice for a family holiday. Very spacious and lots of activities for young and old. Everyone enjoyed the pool/spa and the movie room and games room was also a hit. The beds were comfortable as well. Was handy being so close to beach and shops. We did have a few Cockroaches inside but hubby got rid of them easily enough so didn’t bother me. We enjoyed our stay- thanks Darren.

We all enjoyed the games rooms & cinema room. Getting onto Netflix was always a mission. The instructions weren’t quite clear enough, & we ended up signed out and couldn’t watch it.
The spa pool was great, but not hot in the morning. We’re guessing it was off overnight. If so it needs to come on at 6am to be hot for morning dips.

Felt under duress to provide IDs after payment. I had past my refund date before the owner sent me the “new” privacy policy. And the need for IDs. Not being able to handle a small amount of a noise on a Saturday afternoon is ridiculous. We were out the whole day and got home around 2pm, at 4:47pm got a call from Darren, the owner, stating the neighbours said my decibel rating was too high for their liking. If your neighbours don’t like noise. Don’t hold an stayz. Let alone for a large group of people. A quote from the neighbour: “this group was horrendous. The constant yelling and screaming is ridiculous”. For the record, the constant yelling and screaming was a happy birthday song. We got a complaint stating that we were at 69 decibels. This was recorded from the invasive security camera system above us, roughly 1% of that noise is heard from 10-15m away.
An average hairdryer has a range of 65-95 decibels, a vaccum cleaner and alarm clock range around 70. I received a photo of our decibel rating from what we would assume is the backyard camera unless the delightful neighbours have an app. Darren also said to me over the phone that if the neighbours took it to council he wouldn’t be able to afford.
To sum up
- Uncomfortable for the camera in the backyard.
- headboard in one room not connected to wall
- Spa set at a luke-warm temperature unable to be changed.
- Pans were dirty.
- Blinds next to camera broken

The beautiful photos of the property on Stayz, certainly do not reflect the physical condition of the house, the bedrooms had stains on the carpet, bedding was stained, cleaning under the beds had not occurred for sometime as there was a accumulation of dust, socks and rubbish, the king bedroom has black mild growing in the blinds, the shower walls have not been cleaned properly the black marks on the grout are not inviting to take a shower.
The kitchen cupboards have blistering on most of the doors, the bench top has marking and broken laminate.
The main glass door to the backyard has not been cleaned for sometime.
The first day we arrived we received a noise complaint message from the owner before 4:00pm, that our music could be heard outside, we explained to the owner the reason the music could be heard outside was because the air condition was broken and to the credit of the properties owner the air conditioner was fixed the next day.
Prior to committing to this property, the nine page rule should have been provided, full transparency is paramount when agreeing to contractual obligations, if there had been transparency we would not have proceeded to book this property.
The cameras located in the back and the front, of the property are inappropriate so beware if you and your group do not want to be watched.
The hot water allowed for showers once a day, after this there is no more hot water and we boiled the kettle to fill the skin to wash the dishes.
Disappointed and would never come back again as the curfews enforced on our group were inappropriate.

The family had a wonderful time. Plenty of space for all. Beautiful pool & hot tub out the back door. One of the rooms had a cot & change table. Much better for bub than using our portacot.
Will definitely stay there again for our annual family get together.

Had a wonderful time. Great house for families to share, better than we expected. Pool was great. Unfortunately the jacuzzi jets didn’t work which was a shame. The air con failed on the Saturday which made it uncomfortable to sleep as it was a hot weekend.

We stayed with some family and toddlers but had an awful experience with the owner prior to our stay.
He sent through new terms and conditions after we had paid in full and less than two weeks before we were due to stay. He insisted that we provide photo IDs of all guests and also wanted childrens full names and dob which he claimed was due to NSW fair trading legislation in the code of conduct. When I told him I felt uncomfortable about sending all that over the internet and that it should have been part of the initial contract he just replied to contact NSW fair trading about it and was very argumentative and rude with his replies when I told him their responses.
After many phone calls and a lot of stress we were given written confirmation from both Stayz and NSW fair trading that this isn't a requirement from them. Stayz contacted the owner to let him know this and that he needed to honour the original agreement.
He also had not disclosed within the original listing that there were security cameras directly looking over pool and spa area. He has since updated his listing to include this and the IDs but note that it is not a requirement from NSW fair trading to provide photo identification of all guests. NSW fair trading especially were not impressed with sending that information online due to all the privacy breaches that have occurred recently. Owner has similar reviews on this platform and the other main holiday rental accomodation platform.
The house itself was nice we especially loved the pool and location. But our family were all quite stressed about how we were treated so it made it a very bittersweet trip. I wish we had never booked there in the first place.

My extended family and I had a wonderful week at Darren’s house. Set in a quiet neighbourhood, just a short stroll from Wamberal Beach and the local shops, the house was child friendly and well equipped for a very comfy holiday. After a day at the beach, there was plenty to do at the house for kids and adults alike - swimming pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, pool table, outdoor BBQ and cinema room. Overall an excellent place to stay! Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Thank you Darren for being a great host. We’d love to stay again.

This property has everything for a large group, with the pool, spa, games room and most of all the home cinema meaning even in bad weather when the beach might be out of reach you have all you need for a great getaway. We had such a wonderful time staying at the property! The facilities are amazing - especially the backyard with the pool and spa. The overall layout of the house and amount of bathrooms is so great for big groups. We would all love to come back and stay agai!.
