Very clean and well stocked. Up dated appliances and cabinets. Lovely use of space and colors. Host very responsive and helpful. Enjoyed stay. Gulfport is lovely and close to all the beaches.

I really loved this little apartment. It was so pretty and very comfortable. The front room was wonderful for yoga, reading and relaxing. I loved watching all the people walking & riding by. The huge live oaks and the park are beautiful. Just a few blocks walk into town and down to the beach. Great restaurants, shopping , bars and music! I loved Gulfperk, A Friend Who Bakes, The Ice Cream Shop,Neptune Grill outside patio, Pia’s, Northend Taphouse and Gulfport Brewery . Would totally recommend Maddy’s Spa, it’s in walking distance . Also really enjoyed Sunset Dolphin Cruise from Salty Pelican Tours in Gulfport. Bob was super responsive and so easy to deal with.

This wonderful stay in Gulfport’s unique art district will not disappoint! The decor and interior design represent everything there is to love about Gulfport. The property owner provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The communication and check-in/check-out process was seamless. It’s within walking distance to the shops and restaurants downtown, yet quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be returning!

We loved staying at Robert's Gecko Cottage! The kitchen was nicer than the ones we have at home, with everything we needed for our week-long stay. We walked often to the nearby shops, restaurants, and the water, or across the street to the park. Easy access to The Gulf beaches, Tampa/St. Pete. On the nicer mornings, we enjoyed our coffee on the porch, and on the cooler/wet days, we sat in the bonus sunroom to watch the sun come through the live oaks in the park. Would stay again!

Adorable part of house across from a park. The kurig machine and pods gave good coffee in the morning. Fluffy towels. Just three blocks from restaurants, shops, etc on Beach Blvd.

Perfect location for our stay. Located in easy walking distance to cute little village of Gulfport and driving distance to anywhere you wanted to go. Easy access to highways. The place is adorable! Two people can stay very comfortably with all necessary amenities. Wonderful clean and welcoming space.

My son and I stayed here the week before he started his sophomore year of college nearby. The Gulfport neighborhood is a great place to stay with lots to do. The unit is very well maintained and feels new even though it is in an older home. It’s very private and has its own parking area which was very convenient. We hope to stay there again next year!

My husband and I enjoyed a weeklong stay in Gulfport to see our daughter. The Gecko House was perfect. Close enough to do daily walks to downtown, but quiet for reading a good book. Parking was a breeze. Never used the bikes- maybe next time. Our dog enjoyed the short walk to the park across the street and the long walks through the various neighborhoods. The enclosed deck was a nice touch to keep her safe while we relaxed. Our best Vrbo to date!

This charming cottage was fresh and modern and a close walk to the neighborhood’s vibrant restaurants and boutique shops. Our dog had plenty of room to play in the park right outside our door. We enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning and felt lucky to soak up some Florida sunshine.

Thank you for the awesome stay in Gulfport. Got a chance to experience the area....luv it! The property was in a great neighborhood and my dog luv'd to go on walks and enjoyed the parks in the surrounding neighborhoods. Would stay here again!

My husband and I are extremely busy and planned a quiet weekend getaway. The home delivered. Everything was as advertised…super clean, charming and very peaceful. We enjoyed being able to walk to the small downtown area…cute shops, restaurants and bars. Water activities were only short drive away. Kitchen was well-stocked and had new appliances if you wanted to prepare your own meal. Our one recommendation would be a smart TV so guests can access their streaming subscriptions if they want to have a movie night. Thanks for the great stay Robert! We hope to plan a return trip soon.

Home was very clean and super cute! Pictures of the house are accurate and up to date. Close to downtown and across the street from a park. Quiet neighborhood. Bob was very helpful and made our stay everything we wanted and more.

House was nice comfortable and clean, perfect space for a couple. In very quiet neighborhood, across the street street from nice park. In walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, and beach. Me and my wife had a blast exploring the coastal towns along the Sun coast, the gecko house was a big part of the experience. Robert is a good host, house was stock with everything you need, coffee, towels, body wash, even toothbrush and paste. Also has a washer and dryer room on property. Me and my wife is looking forward to coming back to Gulfport for a week stay next summer.

Loved the spot. Absolutely perfect for one or two people. Everything was comfortable. It was a lovely surprise to find snacks on the counter and water in the fridge and, even though I didn't need it, toiletries available for the shower. It was perfect location with easy access to eats and shopping. To top it off, wonderful that my senior dog with bad arthritis could get up the outside steps without any problems. Definitely on my list for stay should I come back to that part of the Gulf for vacay.

We knew we were in the right place as soon as we stepped thru the door. The unit was so fresh and clean. The apartment is smartly decorated, very comfortable and has all the amenities you could want. The location was perfect, it was a short walk into the center of Gulfport where we enjoyed the many restaurants and shops. The host was also very accommodating and responsive. The only small drawback was the size of the living room, it was kind of small. But the weather was so nice and the deck was so peaceful we really didn’t spend much time inside. We would most definitely choose this property again, if for a week or even a few days. Most definitely!

This little apartment is utterly charming. At the time I rented it (January 2021) the pictures may have been out of date, because the apartment far surpassed our expectations. It is one of the best-designed and best-decorated rental properties I have ever seen.The most striking feature is the quality of the interior design. Everything looked newly painted or newly remodeled, and with high-quality materials. There are two heavy sliding doors that both look great and conserve space. The countertops and cabinetry are wood and a nice, heavy synthetic stone, and are color coordinated. The shower, with its mosaic floor of sea glass pieces, is a delight.The apartment is definitely small, but it has everything you need – as long as you understand that the main dining space is the exterior side porch (which is nicely shaded by a giant live oak.) The toilet area is the only spot that is a bit too tight, so if you are over 6’ tall, you probably won’t be able to sit on the commode (your knees will hit the half-wall of the shower.)The location is also very good. It takes about 5 minutes to walk (3 blocks?) into the busy downtown area, which allows some sight-seeing and protects you from noise. The green park across the street gives nice views from the front room. Very little traffic passes by the house.The amenities that came with the apartment were excellent. Having bikes was a big money saver and a lot of fun; I biked all the way to the St. Petersburg pier using only bike paths (Clam Bayou Trail to Skyway Trail to Pinellas Trail.) We used the laundry facilities. There were even free charcoal briquets for the BBQ grill (each apartment has one.)Bob, the manager, is a handyman, and he seems to live nearby, so any problems were addressed immediately. I requested a second door-mat at the porch, and it immediately appeared.I am grateful for and appreciative of a property and a manager that provided me with such nice housing here in Gulfport.

Wonderful place to stay, super clean, wonderful deck off the kitchen door to enjoy morning coffee . Short walk from downtown Gulfport, wonderful restaurants, the Pier and beach. Know there are multiple units in this building, walls can be thin, but did not cause an issue as everyone seemed respectful. Attention to detail with this rental is fantastic as bicycles , beach chairs and a common laundry were included. Great place to stay maintained by great people!

Unit is perfect for a single or a couple. Nicely renovated. We enjoyed the patio for drinks. Easy walk to all the fun of Gulfport.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend in Gulfport. This property is across the street from a park where our dogs played and just a few blocks from the adorable downtown area. 12 min from the Dali Museum where we had reservations, and just 30 min from Tampa - making this a very convenient location for lots of fun! The unit was clean, stocked with everything you need for a visit, and the owner was prompt to answer questions. Would stay again!

This apartment is located in a house with other apartments with your own entrance. It was perfect for the two of us, was in a great location for shops and restaurants and across the street from a park. The only drawback to the property is that we could hear everything going on in the adjoining apartment. They weren't loud but you could hear everything. It was super clean and everything was very modern and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again!
