Reservations are available in weekly (7 night) increments with arrivals and departures on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. Kaua'i is Hawaii's most remote and private island, and no other resort embraces this idyllic setting more than Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club. It is located on award-winning Poipu Beach. Serenity and amazing natural beauty abound on the 'Garden Isle'. Relax in our spacious villa in Poipu, Kaua'i. This elegant resort offers three azure pools, a fitness center, and beachfront watersports for you to enjoy. Nearby you will find Spouting Horn Park and Old Koloa Town. Enjoy a meal in a casual atmosphere at the Honu Pool Bar or the conveniently locates market on premise. Luxuriate in the spa at the on-site massage cabanas. Take advantage of the many nearby golf courses. Discover paradise found. Marriott Waiohai is a beautiful oceanfront resort. Guest understands that villa placement within the resort is at the sole discretion of the Marriott. While Concierge Realty will provide a confirmation specifically noting a certain view category as agreed upon in the contract, Marriott reserves the right to assign any villa of the same size anywhere within the resort as a result of mechanical failure, etc. Guest understands that the Marriott view designation does not imply or guarantee a specific vista, i.e.; guest will see the ocean, but instead only differentiates between locations within the resort. The Covid-19 pandemic is considered a foreseeable risk. By accepting this rental agreement and providing payment information, the guest acknowledges and accepts the risk that the pandemic may prevent travel or occupancy of the rental unit and that this will not serve as a basis for requesting a refund. Unavailable amenities, pool, beach, theme park, etc. does not merit a refund. This clause specifically removes the obligation of the owner to provide a habitable unit, if the cause is due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Vrbo calendar helps provide availability and estimated price quote. Always inquire with the agent and do not reserve airfare until your confirmation has been received. Any issues with resort service, accommodations, physical plant, amenities, etc. are the direct responsibility of the developer and must be handled through the resort, not Concierge Realty. Photos are thought to be truly representative of the resort and accommodations. Any variation from the photo and actual property are unintentional, so guests are encouraged to do their own due diligence prior to reserving. Any variance or disruption including but not limited to renovation, unavailable amenity, change in decor, etc. during the stay, whether announced prior to reservation, occurring during the stay or announced after confirmation, is a matter strictly between the guest and resort, are not deceptive advertising, breach of contract or the responsibility of Concierge Realty. Note that the images are representative of this villa and that a specific view type is not implied nor promised by virtue of the images. A specific view category must be addressed with rental agent. Concierge Realty reserved the right to reserve any view category unless one has been agreed upon in writing. The resort confirmation will show the view designation and the villa will be placed within that view category unless, in a rare instance the view will be noted as "not guaranteed" in which case the resort reserves the right to place the guest anywhere within the property. Issues regarding view within the guaranteed view category are to be addressed with the resort management as Concierge Realty is not responsible for villa placement. We had book two condos with ocean views and as close together as possible. One condo had ocean view and other was a view of parking lot. They were not even in the same building. After working with front desk we got a ocean view but not close together but two day without a view. Property manager was not helpful with issue.

The condo was well furnished and the hotel staff was very accommodating. They provided us with extra kitchen items like a rice cooker, and extra baking sheets. The pool was smaller compared to other Marriott Hawaiian properties but you can’t beat the easy access Poipu beach where turtles and monk seals regularly hang out. We saw 16 turtles one evening. What a sight!

Poipui never disappoints
I love the property. The waters in the ocean and pool were warm. The front desk and concierge staff were excellent. We had a great time but I do have a couple of observations. We have been to this location often. This was the first time,though, that we had cockroaches. (Management dealt with it promptly.)
We also were surprised that the bar closed at 8 am on a Friday. We were at the pool celebrating my daughter's engagement. We came down at 8 to get a drink and take a swim and they informed us that the bar had just closed. Why on a Friday?
We love the three pools. We had three condos and 20 people, so every once in a while I wanted the quiet of the adult quiet pool. However, both times there were families with multiple children. Another guest got security, but his reply was that if the parents were there there was nothing he could do. I thought it would have been nice if he directed the family to the other pool and showed them the sign.
They seem to have stopped the cabana rentals, which is too bad. But we obtained an umbrella and we were able to enjoy those amazingly warm waters.
The children's program seemed spotty. We took the younger children down for s'mores one night and the woman rudely gave us little cardboard cubs with crackers and chocolate and told us to go microwave them. Ok, I get it. The fire pit wasn't working- but have you ever microwaved a graham cracker? I would have found an alternate treat for the children.

Overall our stay was excellent. The main pool could have been larger like the Grand Hyatt. The quiet pool and grass area ocean front pool should be adult only. Quite annoying when trying to relax with kids splashing and yelling. The rooms are great and very well maintained and appointed.

Great location and resort
Pleasantly surprised by the size of the resort, the amenities and the onsite restaurant. Everything was closer than it first looked, with games and activities everywhere you turned! The main pool was lovely, and larger than it first looked. The Hono Bar/Grill had a great selection of food and drinks, and the option of breakfast on the weekends. The size of the condo's were perfect, and the full size kitchens were great. My only tiny complaint is with how this property was listed - I wanted to "splurge" on an ocean front property, which this listing claimed to be. It was not. Our view from the lanai was the public parking lot for Poipu Beach/Brennekes/mountain and a distant oceanview. Luckily, we did not let it affect our vacation. I would return to this resort in a heartbeat.

Beautiful location
We enjoyed our stay, the room was very comfortable, even the fold out couches were comfortable. The location is great right by beach. Our specific unit was very far in the back and hard to tell which unit you are getting but it was still nice. The only downside was the loud hot tub right under us but they shut it down at 10pm.

We have been to Kauai multiple times and just now found our perfect destination when it comes to the perfect mix of amenities, beach access and overall quality of villa.
The villa was very modern, very clean. The AC almost silent and the view was amazing. We loved just lounging by the beach and catching the beautiful sunset. The overall resort is very well kept, plenty of BBQ grills and pools.
We will be back! The Marriott in Poipu is our go to place to stay in Kauai now.

The perfect family setting
We have been to Kauai multiple times and just now found our perfect destination when it comes to the perfect mix of amenities, beach access and overall quality of villa.

We will be back! The Marriott in Poipu is our go to place to stay in Kauai now.

We traveled with my parents, my 3 year old and a 4 month old. This place was perfect for everyone.
With a diverse group of ages, I was very impressed by how content everyone was. The facilities were clean and well kept. The grounds and location were both amazing! As a traveler I am often out and about, however, with this place it was hard to leave! There was so much to do on-site and two stunning beaches were right at our doorstep.
We were very pleased with our stay. It was incredibly easy with the baby and the toddler.

Our family of 6 with 4 adult children were impressed with the location and a beautiful swimable beach and amenities within walking and short driving distance. The accommodation was excellent and we had no problems with space for the 6 of us. The hide a beds have comfortable mattresses.

Second visit to resort
Great resort, beautiful beaches and in great location. I would recommend. Only complaint was on second visit we were assigned ocean view with outside unit near public park and parking and
roosters woke us up at 4am most mornings. Definitely should request interior unit much quieter on first trip.

Fabulous location for family vacation in Poipu.
This condo was such a pleasant surprise, the location was on the third floor, views out of the balcony were of the pond where the swam swims, and over the pools toward the ocean. Beautiful decor with comfortable beds, even the pull our sofa has our seal of approval. We traveled with our adults kids and three grand children, and felt the space accommodated us perfectly. The best part is the location, just steps from the pool is the beach at Poipu. We could head out in the evenings for dinner at local restaurants or bbq on the grills provided, we really appreciated the care and cleaning that the staff did to keep the grills so clean. The grounds were beautiful and we felt safe letting our kids play on the grass below the condo. We can't wait to return!

Peaceful, fun resort
This Marriott Resort has beautiful grounds and walking paths, adult quiet pool and children's pool, and access to the beach with many opportunities 4 ocean play. Our unit was clean, updated, and very well supplied. The hotel staff were all friendly and very helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
The property is ideal for visiting the island. The apartments are very well furnished and the grounds are excellently maintained. The beach is adjacent to the property and the pools are also perfectly located.
We had absolutely no complaints and several pleasant surprises. For example, our flight home left very late in the evening, but we could use the facilities all day, although we had already checked out.

We simply adore this property
We've been coming to this property since 2004 when it was just completed. It's gorgeous, quiet, pristine, and comfortable. They've recently updated all the rooms as well, and the new furnishings look modern and fresh. We chose an ocean view room, and while our room was near the back of the property, our view was spectacular!! Not only did we overlook a waterfall, a koi pond, a swan retreat and a pool, we had a perfect view of the ocean. It was everything that was promised us. Everyone is accommodating and friendly. We used the Concierge services to book our adventures, and she was very knowledgeable and helpful. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and a beautiful beach to enjoy as well. Be sure to bring water shoes as the ocean has plenty of lava rock that will cut up your toes. There is a resident monk seal on our beach as well. Anyone who stays here will have the time of their lives.

Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club was perfect!
This was one of the best trips we ever took. We went in late Mar/early April. The booking experience through VRBO was super easy and we pre-paid which was nice to get that out of the way early. This hotel is absolutely perfect for a larger family. We had 2 adults and 4 kids ages 8-13. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, relax, watch TV, eat. Great kitchen, new appliances and accessories. I didn't know what to expect from the guaranteed ocean view but we were in 6202 overlooking an empty lot and Brennake Beach. We learned that this was an ideal location as we saw the sunrise every morning and the sunset at night plus a small view of the ocean and the crowds so we could judge how crowded or not crowded the beach would be that day. The linens were comfy. The room was cleaned once mid week and that was fine by us. The promxity to multiple beaches and hotels/restaurants was perfect for us. We will definitely go back.

Wrong pictures
As an owner and regular vacationer at Waiohai, I must point out t anyone reviewing the attached pictures that many of them are not of the Waiohai property. Several pictures are of the Marriott Aruba pool, not of the Waiohai pool. Also, the picture showing the 'ocean view' from the balcony is from one of only a handful of true 'full facing' ocean view condos. I love my association with Marriott's Waiohai property, but I don't want its reputation sullied by mis-representation. Do your research and do not just rely on this website for your visual information about the property.
