This exceptional and private gated residence is located above the town of Cruz Bay with commanding views looking out to the many islands including St. Thomas, St. James, Lovango and St. Croix. It is adjacent to the Virgin Islands National Park and provides the ultimate in privacy. Isla Vista has 3 beautiful suites each with a California king sized bed in the main house and 2 ADDITIONAL Queen suites above the garage. The Great Room has a formal dining area as well as a lovely open bar with a new Entertainment Center, 46' Flat Screen TV a complete home theater audio system. This large 5,000 square foot home, 5 bedrooms, ideally suited for up to 5 couples. The Gourmet Kitchen is expansive, well equipped and opens up to the adjacent gallery for informal poolside dining. There is also a separate barbecue room with a 42' Alfresco gas grill. The villa has full wireless access for your computer as well as BOSE music stations throughout the villa for your IPod and, exterior speakers surrounding the pool. Attention to every detail is found throughout this beautiful villa which features travertine marble floors, vaulted cypress ceilings, custom mahogany doors, windows and cabinets, marble and granite counter tops, all bronze fixtures, state of the art stainless steel appliances and custom designed lighting throughout. Isla Vista is centered around a spectacular 35 foot swimming pool with richly landscaped grounds. NO HOT TUB. Entrance to this villa is via a private estate road with a security gate for complete security and privacy. The property was absolutely amazing. The views are stunning and the home is lovely...like staying in the home of friend instead of rental.
Megan, the property manager, was very accommodating and helped with groceries, recommendations for chefs and water transportation. Communication was always efficient and timely.
Absolutely recommend staying here and look forward to returning!

Hard to put into words how beautiful this property is. The pictures were wonderful online, but when we walked onto the property, it was even more grand and gorgeous than we ever imagined. It was clean and comfortable, and had every amenity you could ever want in a rental property. I would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here! Can’t wait to come back.

Took my wife, kids and significant others to St. John for a week and was looking for a property that would make the week memorable. This property hit it out of the park. Quite frankly, the pictures and VRBO description don't do it justice. It was very well equipped, clean and simply a pleasure to stay in for a week. The only noice to speak of was the occasional rooster crowing! Very private as well. Stay here if you can!

Our family has been vacationing on St John for more than 20 years. Isla Vista is the best property that we’ve ever rented. Best location, best view, immaculately clean and comfortable. Feels like it’s your own home. Different/better experience than any other rental we’ve ever done. Difficult to even try another place. Pictures don’t do it justice - btw.

The house was perfect for our family! The kitchen is perfect had everything we needed. Plenty of dining spaces inside and outside. We had 5 adult children and 3 adults. We loved the easy access into Cruz Bay every evening or just a short coffee run. It is also close to the National Park dock to catch your chartered boat for the day. Our taxi driver Chico was recommended and he was so reliable. Nothing beats the sunset from this house! The house managers were very responsive to any question we had.

We enjoyed staying at " Isla Vista" The Pool deck over looks St. John, St. Thomas and surrounding Islands. Day or Night the views are great. The Villa is just minutes from town and in a very convenient location. We had Green Parrots go by the house every evening, Deer in the driveway and Iguanas in the trees. The House Managment was very responsive, helped with local knowledge and even assisted with Boat Charters and ScubaDiving . Both are highly recommended.

What an incredible property! We have been to St. John’s several times and have stayed in some nice locations, but this was perfect. Close to everything and far enough away to feel like you are the only ones on the island. The pool was the highlight of the trip. We came with three of our teen/20’s children and our best friend couple. Everyone had their own space. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. But when we did come together to make dinner, it felt close, but enough counter space for everyone to work their own station. My only complaint was my lack of being able to figure out the cooktop. It took me several tries to figure it out, but I finally got it. I’m just used to gas. The management was very helpful and communication was simple and they even checked on us during our stay. Will be back as soon as we can! Thank you so much for a perfect stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Isla Vista! The house is gorgeous and well stocked. The panoramic views are spectacular! Everyone was very comfortable. We will be looking to stay at Isla Vista again!

We will plan to visit the house again, that is the best recommendation.

We enjoyed the wind every day on top of the hill. We ate outside several nights with a nice breeze. There is not much shade in the afternoon and of course it gets hot in July. We will plan to visit the house again, that is the best recommendation.

This was our fourth vacation to St. John and Isla Vista was by far the best villa we have stayed in. From the beautiful expansive views to the gorgeous villa and grounds, everything was perfect! The proximity to Cruz Bay was the icing on the cake. We will definitely stay at Isla Vista again!

Islam Vista is a beautiful hilltop vacation home. Terrific views, fabulous sunset. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The pool area is very large and comfortable with a great view of Cruz Bay. The house had everything we needed and then some.. Megan and Dan were great and took care of any needs we had right away.

We brought another couple with us and they fell in love with the casual island vibe meets old world colonial Caribbean luxury that Isla Vista so well embodies. We visit St John yearly and have finally found our perfect home away from home- Isla Vista we will be back!

My husband and I were married on June 12th at Hawksnest and enjoyed this house all week for our wedding and honeymoon. The pool is fabulous.
