About this house rental
Situated in Indian Lake, this attractive house for $291 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This home comes with it all but with the true rustic olde charm and not the brass and glass. Each bedroom has a private bathrooms, vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans,and individual wall heaters for your own comfort level. Home comes with wrap around decking, screen porches, washer, dryer, dishwasher, wifi and cable TV. Each bedroom also has sliding glass doors opening to a second level deck overlooking the Hudson River. Large yard for all your family activities including a fire pit for the nightly bon fire. dogs are ok based on pre approval. This home has been undergoing renovations with an all new second floor. That is new bedrooms and bathrooms from top to bottom. the owner wishes to keep the ADK charm of the original cape style and keep the rates low for families to come and enjoy the ADKs with out breaking the bank. You will not find this home as a hotel or a modern sheek place to stay. The at home feel with return tenants that appreciate the style is what we are striving for. Make yourself at home while visiting the ADK's. With an all new second level, the bedroom still have room size rugs in stead of wall to wall carpeting as this has been quite the process.New siding, windows, main level flooring, decks, added bathrooms etc are just a few of the completed projects with more to come. Come and enjoy with your family at a family home. The pictures on the website are accurate.

Perfect location when skiing at Gore and neighbours to rafting companies so we are tempted to come back during that season. Casual and relaxing. I needed more instruction on the DVD and VHS system though.

Comfortable home, lots of room, short drive to Gore, very happy with accomodation. Only issue black fly situation in house maybe due to change in temperature and some unexpected warm weather, overall would stay again, Nice communication with host, very considerate, thank you.

The location was just what we were looking for. The house needs some minor repairs. Having five bedrooms each with its own bathroom was great. We got there Friday afternoon and had no problem getting into the house. Our phones all worked which was a very important. We were there on a hunting trip. I had my two sons and one of my grandsons with me. All of us were happy with the house and plan to use it again next year. Didn't get any deer but it was still a great time.

We were 2 families with a total amount of 5 kids. Everything was perfect: a number of rooms & bathrooms and other amenities. One tiny disappointing thing: no replacement for burned-out electric bulbs of the right diameter and missing dish soap and dishwasher tablets.

Biggest problem:
- Wifi didn't work for the first 24hrs! there was no cell phone signal either. the house phone is not functioning either. It is like an isolated island with no means to connect with outside. Sometimes the text message come thru.
- We had to drive for a few min to access cell phone signal to contact property manager Kevin.
- Kevin was helpful and did his due diligence. the internet is back on after around 24 hrs.

Great quiet place on the river, big yard outside for kids and pets and plenty of room for large families to sleep and having 6 bathrooms is a bonus. Surprisingly, with venturing north or south there's a lot to do. Farmers market, decent restaurants, Oscars is a must for the bacon as well as the Deli at the mini mart subs, rubs, meats are awesome. Nice hidden gem in the country.

With all the family and lots of bedrooms it was great having a bathroom for each bedroom.
We like any business that likes and let’s us stay with our dog. He is a very large labradoodle and very respectful of other peoples property.
Actually the only problem with this property was a couple of lightbulbs out in a few of the lamps. And that’s wasn’t a problem for us.

Unfortunately, other issues would rate it as a 1 or 2. There was active mice activity, one was seen and food we had in the storage area was eaten. Smoke detectors were missing batteries, and some outlets and switches were missing covers. The towels provided were worn and stained. Lastly, this is the first rental where we had to strip the beds, which seemed odd considering the separate cleaning and linen fees.

This get away was perfect for our family get together. The house is set up for large groups to be together in the dining room-living room area. Dummy Fun in the ADK
Perfect location, location, location for me and my kids! Close to rafting, zip lining, hiking, swimming, biking. Groceries, bakery, ice cream, and booze are nearby. The outlet malls are a little further.

Spacious older house on upper Hudson River
The second floor bedrooms and bathrooms are fine, but the rest of the house needs some TLC. It certainly would not comfortably sleep 14, as advertised, and there are 5 bedrooms, not 6.

This was a last minute get away and while we weren’t looking for anything fancy, this home provided enough space that we weren’t on top of each other and could break away to do other activities. While you can tell improvements continue, we enjoyed the screened in porch and gorgeous dining room table while others watched movies.

All the bedroom's had their own bathrooms. Worked out well for the 10 of us. Big kitchen and 2 coffee makers so we could all get a big mug without waiting. Enjoyed the area.

This was a last minute get away and while we weren’t looking for anything fancy, this home provided enough space that we weren’t on top of each other and could break away to do other activities. It has a bathroom in each of the 5 bedrooms plus one downstairs.

Big house, lots of rooms
Enjoy the that each room has its own bathroom, only issue, the room I stayed in, the bed was very noisy, Every time you turn it makes noise, other than that, we had a great time.

It was amazing week, house is spacious and have everything what you need. Beds are on the smaller size and not so comfortable, so not everyone would be happy to sleep with other person on full size bed. On the other hand, every room has own bathroom. The tv in living room is very small so it’s hard to have movie night. There were some dvds.
