Located in Russian River, this charming house for $613 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. From the spacious covered deck to the recently remodeled and updated house to the private riverside decks and dock, you'll feel right at home, yet so far away. Begin your vacation with a complimentary bottle of champagne, chilled waiting for your arrival. Riverscape's covered deck features sweeping views of the river, the redwoods, and the lush backyard. Experience luxury outdoor living complete with a 6 person hot tub; an outdoor kitchen with a bar, sink, large gas BBQ, and prep area; an outdoor living room with couches, a 50' HDTV with Directv and surround sound, dvd player, a pool table/ping pong table, and a washer and dryer. On chilly evenings, you can light up the outdoor heater, and close the canvas curtains to keep snugly while listening to the river slide by. Sliding glass doors run along the entire back of the deck, so you can see what's going on inside, if you are outside, or visa versa. They also bring in a lot of light to the house, and allows for beautiful views, bringing the outside in. Just off the deck, the backstairs lead down to a large grassy, fenced backyard with a horseshoe pit, and plenty of room to play amongst beds of beautiful flowers, roses, and banana trees. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off. Situated under the canopy of an apple tree, is the Boat House which is the perfect place to take a nap on the futon, or change clothes after coming up from the river. The Boat house also has lifejackets, paddles for the kayaks, and other toys to play in the River or the yard with. Just beyond the yard, the path leads to the River View Deck, with comfortable seating to relax, read a book, take a nap, or just hang out and enjoy watching the river go by. Pull up a stool at the Tiki Bar, enjoy your favorite cocktail, and chill. Just beyond that is another BBQ, and the two (seasonal Mid May - Mid October) waterfront decks--one in the sun, one in the shade-- and the (seasonal Mid May - Mid October) private floating dock where you'll enjoy hopping in one of the kayaks and paddling up or down the river, swimming, or just floating around. At certain times of the year, you may see ducks, Blue Heron, river otters, and possible the foxes that like to hang out in our yard. The 2 bedroom, 1 bath house (+ outdoor shower) has an open concept design, a newly remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and all the utensils you'll need to cook the perfect meal.The dining bar comfortably sits 6 people, there is extra seating around the counter bar in the kitchen, and a dining room table as well. The living room boasts leather reclining couches, a 55' HDTV with Directv, dvd player, and surround sound, as well as a wii with games, and plenty of board games. The house has wifi. There are two bedrooms, each with a very comfy queen size bed. The bedrooms have air conditioners. There is a queen size futon in the livingroom area for extra sleeping space. Located just 1 1/2 hours from SF, Guerneville is the perfect getaway. Riverscape is just 1 mile from Main Street which boasts a variety of restaurants, a wine bar, the 5 & 10 store, Safeway, antique shops, Pee Wee Golf, and Johnson's Beach. A 1/2 mile in the other direction is Northwood Golf Course with 9 holes of golf (Golf Magazine named it one of the 5 top Alister McKenzie courses in the world!) nestled in the Redwoods, and a few minutes past that is the town of Monte Rio with another nice family beach, and the Rio Movie Theatre. We are 10 minutes to Armstrong Woods redwood forest, and Korbel Champagne Cellars. The ocean is just 20 minutes away, and we are a close proximity to 100's of Russian River, and Sonoma County wineries. Riverscape has everything you need, and close to many adventures, so you have options to do as much or as little you want to.

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The place was so inviting, very clean, and had everything we needed. Checking in and out was a breeze.
We loved the outdoor living area with the hot tub, fire pit, grill, and pool table. It rained the first night. After we grilled some short ribs, my partner and I enjoyed the hot tub while listening to the rain fall and enjoying the view of the river and the majestic trees. We will def be coming back!

Everything was execellent: the inside and outside of the property was comfortable, clean, friendly, with all of the modern conveniences one would expect...and more. The location was central for all of our planned excursions. Lauren provided restaurant recommendations which we took adavntage of, and all were more than satisfactory. We would come back in a heart beat! (One recommendation: add a note to the info book on where the thermostat is located. Imagine a "funny face" here!.)

The home is just as it looks in pictures, and in the overviews. The home and outdoor areas are fantastic and really enjoyable. The hosts were responsive and i know if i needed something, they would be available. Location was convenient and easy to find

We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and had plenty of room for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking tools you could need. We especially loved all the activities available. We had a great time kayaking, playing ping pong, enjoying a fire by the river. Communication with the hosts was great and checking in and out was very easy. Would highly recommend!!

Been coming here for 40 years now. Never gets old. Family loves it! Riverscape has something for everyone. Ping pong, hot tub, games, outdoor hot shower, hammock, tables and lounges down near the water. Four kayaks, paddle boat, and huge raft! That’s the highlights. No dogs is a downer for me because I have two dogs. Love the birds, an egret an blue heron, hawks, and turkey vultures. Great vacation was had by all!

Everything was just perfect, as it always is!!! Thank you for inflating the island, the kids really enjoyed it! The window ac units were a huge plus and the newly renovated bathroom was beautiful!

I stayed here while doing a race. When I saw how many fun things there are to do at the property, I added on another day! This place truly has it all! Outdoor shower, horse shoes, pool table, Spotify, table tennis, kayaks, corn hole, outdoor living room with hot tub, sofa, pool table, kitchen, and games! Very comfortable with lots of places to sit and read or have a glass of wine. Owners live downstairs and are very nice. We had so much fun here and will be back!

Wow! We had a wonderful and memorable trip to the river. The house had everything we needed to keep us entertained for our entire stay. The location is very close to town and wineries, but we never left, since we enjoyed the surroundings so much - why leave? The hosts were very responsive and helpful and have created a comfortable well equipped place to enjoy.

Perfectly Paradise :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverscape...it was a true escape. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The outdoor deck and lounge area were our number one hangout. The yard is like a beautiful cottage fairy garden. The kayaks are the most wonderful bonus our family really enjoyed kayaking down the river amongst the redwoods.

An overall great experience :)
It was an absolutely lovely time at the Riverscape property. Communication with this host and check-in was very easy. The place has a nice open layout inside and it never felt crowded with six people. The patio has a beautiful view of the river and surrounding landscape, and we spent a lot of time out there hanging out. The garden was in full bloom, there were plenty of yard games, and we made sure to get out on the kayaks provided every day!

It's a really nice place with a pretty forested view out back. There's lots of nice touches including fun Christmas style lights in the yard and electric fire pit on the back deck. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. The only suggestion would be to have better lighting around the smaller couch and perhaps something to put glasses on because the coffee table is a long reach and there aren't enough coasters. Overall very nice!

Russian River Gem
I had been checking out this lovely VRBO for probably a year
( because of the pandemic) before we finally were able to pull together a trip. It was everything that we imagined and more! A really great spot for relaxing and enjoying the sounds and rhythyms of the Russian River.
This sweet spot has all you need, comfy, cozy, inviting, great patio and living area, kitchen has all that you need and bathroom is very recently renovated. Close to some fantastic wineries and some great markets! And, the hosts are wonderful - responsive and very kind and welcoming! Thank you, Lauren! We had such a wonderful time!
