Come and enjoy the Maui sun..and lifestyle. Stay in our completely furnished 1 bedroom condo that is clean, comfortable and decorated Island Style. The Maui Vista complex is surrounded by 10 acres of lush, tropical gardens. Our vacation condo is located in South Kihei, right across the street from Charlie Young/Kamaole I Beach, that is a gorgeous white sand beach. It's perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing. Our unit is quiet and private, one of the most desirable at Maui Vista. In's in the 2nd building, so it's away from the traffic noise of Kihei Road, yet still very close to the beach. This ground floor unit is easily accessible without having to use stairs/elevator, and since we're on the very end, it's very private. Most units here only provide A/C in the living room, but we also offer it in the bedroom, in addition to 2 ceiling fans. Our condo features a lanai, living/dining area, plus full kitchen. We have a Queen bed in bedroom, plus a very comfortable sofa bed, so we can accommodate up to 4 guests. . We've been coming to Maui for more than 20 years, love it because it offers the best of all the Hawaiian Islands. Don't miss the road to Hana with the beautiful tropical rainforests and waterfalls. We recommend the snorkel trip to Molokini, or taking a whale watching boat out of Ma'alaea Harbor. Make sure to visit Paia Town art galleries not to mention the Shops at Wailea for world class shopping. On a typical day in our condo, you'll wake to to the tropical birds in the garden, enjoy some delicious Hawaiian coffee and fresh local fruit on the lanai, while you plan your day. It's hard to decide...play a set of tennis, or walk across the street for an early morning swim, or maybe start out with a round of golf at Wailea...or maybe just relax by the pool. Local markets, restaurants, parks, and shops are just a short walk, and we are also just a few miles from the exclusive Wailea resorts, famous for golf, shopping and celebrity vacations! Maui has consistently been voted #1 Island in the world. Kihei is conveniently located 12 miles from the airport, on the sunniest part of the Island. We are close to all the best beaches, shopping and restaurants. Hotels in the area start at $500night, but you can enjoy our condo, and feel totally at home for a lot less! The condo was clean and well kept with all the amenities for a beach vacation. It’s in an ideal location for quick access to the beach and shopping.

This is a humble but cute little apartment with great location. The kitchen is well stocked, there's beach toys in the cabinet, and the dual AC is great. While I appreciate the great value, I do think the standard of care need to be increased.
I'm not the pickiest with how clean a space needs to be, but the rental was definitely not cleaned appropriately before our arrival. There was dirt, leaves, and dead bugs all over the floor throughout, and heavily accumulated behind the doors. The quilt and shams were noticeably dirty and hasn't been washed recently. The shower and adjacent cabinet had spiders, with lots of old dead bugs. The walls in the bedroom were dingy and grimy. The turnover clean needs to be improved and the full place needs a deep clean + repaint. We had to vacuum the entire place upon arrival and change the blanket on the bed. This is poor service, even for the low price, especially with the additional cleaning fee charged.
If you're looking for a cheap place to stay with a family, this could be a good fit. Especially if newer reviews show the cleaning has improved. But I have to warn for those with allergies: my sinuses acted up every time we came back to the apartment. Not sure if from mold, dust, bugs, or what. I was congested every night, which disappeared when we went outside. So someone with sensitive allergies should not stay here.

We had never stayed at a VRBO in Maui (our first visit actually) and it turned out to be the best spot. Loved the privacy of the end unit with garden area. And right across the street from a beautiful beach. Our host made sure we understood what was expected from us which made our stay even more delightful. Barb & Ira Goldstein

Words cannot convey how grateful we were to Tricia for accommodating our family last minute with the fires in Maui - something VRBO doesn't offer naturally - but she responded immediately to my desperate plea after our flights were cancelled.
Tricia was SO responsive and kind - checking in to ensure we were comfortable and had all that we need - and how she could help the people of Maui.
We walked all around Kihei - everything was convenient and accessible - beaches, restaurants, coffee shops and markets.

Nice place to stay. Convenient 5 minute walk to the beach. Just one negative is the bathroom. The shower is pretty small and we’re not big people; possibly needs updating. Being in the 2nd building, the location is pretty quiet. The geckos were pretty loud though.

Beautiful grounds & complex. Bldg. 2 corner unit away from street noise, exactly as stated in description. Queen bed in bedroom on the small side, but comfortable.
Beautiful blinds in unit, however still allows light into unit at night when closed. A/c is a plus!

Walking distance to the Charley Young Lake. All other lakes are close by. Molokini draft drive is also close by.

The unit smelled strongly of bleach/cleanser when we arrived, but when we went to bed, found that the light comforters smelled of body odors. We took them both to a nearby laundromat to wash and dry them; this cost was over $15 but it was worth it to us since we were there for a week. When using the sofa bed, we found it was filthy underneath when one of the cushions fell into it and onto the floor; big dust bunnies, mud and dirt. Under the bed was also dirty, so we made sure not to drop anything.
The owner was aware that the miniblinds were broken and couldn't be lowered for privacy (the gardener startled us twice when he showed up on the lanai) but she didn't warn us until I contacted her about the dirty bedding and blinds. Although she apologized she did nothing to compensate for our efforts to clean our own bedding.
The kitchen had most necessities, but the air conditioners are old and inefficient. I cannot recommend this place despite the location close to the beach (5 minute walk).

We really liked the comfort and location of this unit. It was truly a home away from home. Every need that we had during our stay was provided for, from a kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, cookware and dinnerware to a washer and dryer, comfortable bed and beach amenities. Access to the unit was the closest to the parking lot and although the hallway entrance is shared with another unit it was very private and secure. A short walk or drive from the unit gave us access to the beach, shops, grocery stores and restaurants.

Completely equipped condo style living. Everything to be comfortable inside from dishwasher to washer dryer etc. table & chairs inside and out. Ground floor with plants in front making it totally private. Lovely furnishings well supplied beach chairs, umbrella, etc etc.
Ten min from an amazing beach. Highly recommend.

This apartment is located in a central spot. You can walk to various beaches, shops, etc. There's plenty of parking (just be sure to get your parking permit from the main office). There's a food truck park just 2 blocks north, with lots of options. The location has it all!
The apartment comes with pool toys, beach accessories, etc. which are located in the closet on the left (just as you enter). We did not see that, and ended up renting an umbrella, etc. even though Tricia provides everything! Oh well, I guess we should've checked!
The only gripe I had was with the sofa bed. It has seen better days, and the bed was too soft and lumpy. Other than that, it was a great vacation! Thank you, Tricia!

This is a nice spot with a great location in Kihei. It's very easily accessible and doesn't suffer from a lot of the traffic issues in other areas of the town and island. Tricia was very responsive and a pleasure to talk to. We had a late-night arrival, and check-in was still a breeze.

We loved the location of the property. It was within walking distance of beaches, shopping, and great places to eat! I would definitely recommend it. We were thankful for the beach chairs, umbrella, and towels.

We have stayed at the Maui Vista in other units before and love it for the location and amenities. This unit was probably our favorite so far as it is was very private and still close to the pool and a shorter walk to the beach than building 3. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay.

Quiet, but very convenient apartment. Very comfortable with everything we needed, including beach towels and chairs. The beach is just across the street, and a pool in the very pretty grounds.

Decent little property, it was clean aside from the tiny kitchen ants who shared the countertops with us. Great location across from a really nice beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping area. The only issue we had was the hide-a-bed, which was extremely uncomfortable, not even good for a kid to sleep on. It was also very hard to put back together, it took 2 of us to push it in. A bit of a musty smell due to water damage on the hardwood floor and the bedroom is located right beside the parking area, which means you hear car doors slamming. Otherwise a good choice. Beach gear is there for your use including masks and snorkels as well as other necessities (there was no wine bottle opener, but we purchased one and left it there). We didn't need to turn on the A/C at all thanks to the overhead fans. One more thing to note, if you happen to be quite large, you might not fit in the small shower.

Excellent location within walking distance of the beautiful beach and shopping. The condo is comfortable and provides quiet and relaxation after a long day at the beach or on the mountain. not worth it
place was in a corner of the complex. a/c in sufficient, couldn't turn fans off, spend the little extra money and get a good unit at a different property. I would recommend Kamaole or hale Kamaole properties. i didn't do those because they were about 3-4 more for the entire stay, but believe me, it would have been worth it. No jacuzzi at this property, the three pools were dirty, I didn't even go in them b/c of that.

Unit was unsatisfactory
Upon checked in, the unit was unsatisfactory. Floors were dirty and dusty and also the furniture inside the bedroom has thick dust. Kitchen cabinets smells really old. AC has dust mites even night lamps it has plenty dust in the bedroom.

My husband, my three month old baby, and I stayed here for a week and it was amazing! It was in the perfect location due to being central to so many things like Lahaina on the west and Hana on the east! Thetr is also great beaches and stores and things to do in Kihei as well! I loved the Lanai (patio) and we sat out there every morning with our coffee as the sun came up! The pool is basically right behind this specific apartment as well! This specific apartment is in a good quiet location too. There are several beaches across the street which we loved! Tricia was very good at communication and replied back immediately about everything. The check in process was super smooth and easy. It couldn’t have been better! We will definitely be back and we are so grateful for this vacation! We don’t want to leave!
