If you are looking for a home to have any type of gathering that could exceed the maximum occupancy, or the maximum number of vehicles, this is not the home for you. Castle House 2 is located in one of the most sought after, family friendly neighborhoods just outside the Disney Resort. From our front door it's an easy 15-minute walk to the “Happiest Place on Earth” and you can even enjoy the fireworks from the front yard. Cameras are not actively monitored but do send electronic notifications to Funtierland personnel for potential follow up with Guest if the cameras detect activity between approximately 10pm – 9am in alignment with Anaheim's city mandated Quiet Time Hours / Ordinance. Cameras may also monitor parking compliance including but not limited to confirming that no vehicles encroach upon or park over the sidewalk in any way, or illegally park on the street without a Funtierland provided parking permit. Please note the use of the property and all amenities are at your own risk whether or not security cameras are present. My family and I really enjoyed this property. From the cute Disney decor/thened rooms to the gorgeous pool and close proximity to the Disney parks.
The property owner is quick to respond to questions and concerns. We ran into no issues.

Outside steps to frontdoor outdated. High worn chippedd brick steps, was a lil hard for our disabled guest to manuver. House was nice inside, has a few issues, main bath has plugged sink, leak underneath,was unusable, had to put bath towels down several times daily(made 4 calls, was told plumber was on the way, never happened. Carpet nails sticking up in donald duck master bed and super hero bedrooms. Food/trash was under a few of the beds (popcorn, wrappers, water bottles). Pool was beautiful, was a drill bit sticking up near hot tub in a tree stump that one of the kids stepped on. Fenceing around pool was not secure, wiggled, could almost push over. Hair dryer in master bath had broken clip, dryer was plugged in when we arrived and fell into sink. (Hazardous) called to report. Refrigerator/freezer had leak on freezer side, used towels to keep water off floor. Master bathroom shower has sewer smell when shower was on (possible vent leak).Called it in, they brought bags of ice?? Area /neighborhood was great, close to parks. House is cute, just needs a lil maintenance on items listed. Carpet in bedrooms had visible wear/path. Beds were comfy, decorated fun and nice. Property management was very nice. Check in was easy. A bit disappointed for the pice and not having the issues/plumbing attended to. Hot tub temperature could have been warmer, would warm up then went cold. Garage had extreme Marijuana odor. Mold around sink drain in masterbath. We will definitely use VRBO again

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week and hit Disney, Legoland and Universal. Being from Alaska, the pool/slide/hot tub were hands-down the BEST feature of this house. My kids couldn't get enough of it! Things to add so that others can take into consideration would be: 1) Access to Disney is by walking down to the Mickey and Friends parking structure (Castle to Feather to Goodhue down Walnut to Magic Way and cross OVER the road on the safe overpass to the place where you go through parking garage security and take the trams straight to the gate) Its honestly a 20-min trek with kids, and at the end of the day it was a bear to get them to finish the walk back to the house (though is well-lit at night though for safety-sake). 2) Grocery Shopping for food is a quick 2 miles from either a Walmart Quick Grocery to the east, or a Food4Less directly south on Katella. Door Dash and pizza places delivered quite easily too. 3) There are two 2-kid strollers and 1 1-kid stroller in the garage. Garage is super fun with the pool table, and the washer/dryer are super fast.
4) There IS a kids gate around the pool (one is not pictured in the ad photos) and it has a latch but not a child safety lock. No pool toys, we brought our own.
Honestly, gave 4 stars to the home itself only because the carpet needs desperate replacement and there was no water filtration system working in the refrigerator.

Our Family stayed at this location for 8 nights it was fun. It was a close walk to Disneyland so we didn't have to pay to park. They were great about details and if you needed anything. I noticed a few things that needed help but otherwise it was an overall great stay

Loved the pool, the slide, the hot tub, the Disney themed bedrooms and even dishes. There were chairs and an umbrella to take to the beach. There was plenty of room to spread out.

The Castle House 2 was just as it was listed. The house was very clean but well used as you would expect for a house this close to Disneyland. The AC was greatly appreciated as the daytime temperature during our stay was in the 90s. Communicating with the management group was great as they responded quickly to each inquire or question. The availability of pool/beach towels and beach equipment was great. The location of the house in respect to Disneyland required a 30 to 40 minute walk to the shuttle station. This length was a bit of a challenge for our youngest grandchildren, ages 8, 7 and 2. We did develop a shuttle routine from the house to disneyland shuttle station for both going to and coming from Disneyland. The driveway held our three (3) cars (as we were told we have to park in the driveway and not on the road) but require the first in car to block the gate to the backyard which did interfere with the 'pool man' ability to enter the back yard. We did have an issue with the refrigerator not making ice. When we reported it, we were told that we would have to buy ice during our stay. Also the sliding door that entered the back yard, ie pool area and garage (washer and dryer) broke in the locked positon. We reported and the management group reponsed quickly in sending a repair man. However he could not fix it as a part was needed to be order. We had to use a board to 'lock' the door. The couch did have a block of wood as a leg the moved.

We went for a short Disneyland trip. On mother's day weekend. So much fun. The house absolutely amazing it has everything you could need and then some. So spacious and quite neighborhood. The location was perfect to get to and from. A quick ride on the ART and you at Disney. My 10 person group would definitely stay here again.

the strictness of the neighborhood is a little over the top, but we loved the pool and Spa and how close it was to Disney was a really nice

The property is beautifully situated close enough for the Disneyland resort that our extended family of 13 easily walked to the park each day (with 2x infants, 2x 3 year olds, 1x 4 year old and a 6 year old).
For some reason the heater kept kicking off in the middle of the night, despite attempts to set it, resulting in both infants waking up throughout the night. Also, our door code stopped working at 8am on the morning of checkout (10am checkout) I’m lucky the family was still inside or I would have been locked out.
Overall the management company was easy to get ahold of an fairly responsive.

The pool/hot tub is such a blast. Definitely recommend having your own private place to stay as a family, rather than compete for a spot in a hot tub at at hotel. House was clean and comfortable. Short walk to the parks. Definitely recommend!

Real good. Perfect. Needed a couple of things, contacted personal and it was done. Everything was as described. Kids LOVED the water, we all slept well. Not everything was like home, but that was the beauty.

This was a perfect spot for our group with 4 young kids. They loved the themed rooms and I really appreciated there were even some toys to play with. The pool and slide were a huge hit also!
Beds were all comfortable, and having 3 bathrooms was really nice with a large group. The walk is about 15 minutes, they had strollers if we wanted to use them.
The host was great with communication and accommodating us. We would definitely recommend this place to other families!

While the home was spacious with plenty of sleeping space and full bathrooms, the pictures didn’t tell the full story. Wear and tear was evident. It wasn’t as clean as I expected with food crumbs in the bedrooms, a towel rack that fell after hanging one towel on it in the main bathroom, stained towels, a foul smell in the Spider-Man closet, a strong sulfur smell emitting from the Master bath drain, worn strollers for my Grandson, very nosey neighbors, and finally listening to scratching in the attic space at night. Clearly we were sharing the home with mice… just not Mickey. With the price paid and expectations from the rental agreement for me and my family, regarding rules and regulations for us, I just expected more from for my money.

We enjoyed our stay and the house accommodated our family well. Some feedback from our group would be that batteries were missing in a remote for the TV, the fans didn't work in the bathrooms, and the house would be a bit more functional for large groups if there were mirrors in each bedroom.
But overall, we were happy with the house and the walk to Disney was very convenient!

We had a great stay and this house was perfect for our needs. The pool is amazing and was enjoyed by all of us! The beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept on in a long time and the location was great. We would walk 15 minutes to the Disneyland parkade and then take the tram the rest of the way. The themed rooms were cute and there was plenty of space for all of us. It is a rental house so there might be a couple things that don’t work properly (fans in the bathroom, water/ice machine in the fridge) but that didn’t detract from our experience. Would stay here again.

A Potential Jewel
This house has a great location and a great pool! The landlord needs to pay closer attention to the upkeep. The bedroom rugs need to be replaced, the ceiling fans need to be repaired, and the recreational area in the garage is unappealing. Other than having some issues, we enjoyed our stay.

We just stayed at the Castle house 2 with our daughter, her husband and their two children. The house was in an excellent location. You could walk to Disneyland, but we chose to drive and it was a short maybe 3 minute drive. Very convenient! The house had everything we needed and we were very happy with our choice. Every day we took a mid-day break from Disneyland and went back to the house for a refreshing swim. The kids loved the rock slide! We would absolutely stay here again when we return to the area.

Excellent for Disneyland
We just stayed at the Castle house 2 with our daughter, her husband and their two children. The house was in an excellent location. You could walk to Disneyland, but we chose to drive and it was a short maybe 3 minute drive. Very convenient! The house had everything we needed and we were very happy with our choice. Every day we took a mid-day break from Disneyland and went back to the house for a refreshing swim. The kids loved the rock slide! We would absolutely stay here again when we return to the area.

All the reviews were right. The Mickey bathroom smelled like sewage. The dishwasher wasn’t working properly and also smelled like sewage when you turned it on. The freezer broke which meant we didn’t have ice or water. They already knew the fridge/freezer had been having issues and have yet to replace it. They did however send a repairman and got the leaking to stop. Two of the bathroom exhaust fans didn’t work. The house overall smelled funky and felt dirty. There were dying cockroaches all over. They apparently had fumigated before we got there but failed to tell us that so we kept finding dying roaches all around. And the cherry on top was the rat that crawled across the power line while relaxing in the hot tub. The one amazing part about this house was the pool, slide, and hot tub. They could use some more outdoor seating for the amount of people this house can sleep. The location was also close to Disney. Overall, I wouldn’t rent this house again. It could be a great house if they addressed the issues and complaints that have been listed in the reviews.

Disney Getaway
We wanted a home with a pool and close to Disneyland. This is a nice home with a great pool/hot tub. it also has a slide and rain shower/waterfalls. The house is Disney decorated which made it fun for our 5 year old daughter. Lots of space in the kitchen and dining area for meals. The only things that would be nice to have would be more outdoor seating and a bigger patio table. Also the carpets in the bedrooms could use a replacement. They are just worn. We stayed 4 nights. The location is great and it is right next to Disneyland. The pool and spa were also really nice and the yard is well kept.
However, the first night the shower attached to the master bedroom omitted such a bad smell we couldn’t use it. None of the bathroom fans worked and we tried contacting the property manager via VRBO messaging and email for a couple of days asking for a later checkout and never received a response. Not sure how we would have been able to reach anyone if there was an emergency.
