Location has a very secluded feel, but provides easy access to beaches, restaurants, etc.
Back yard–Lush grass, perfect for yard games like wiffle ball, KanJam and frisbee. With the full-size soccer goal, could play a small-sided game–we opted for only shootouts. Well maintained bocce court, perfect in the afternoon shade. Enjoyed the fire pit at night–great for toasting marshmallows.
Half-Court Basketball–Enjoyed many 3 on 3’s and physical games of horse+21. High quality court.
Carriage House–Major highlight–played a ton of ping-pong and pool. The pinball machine is of the quality you’d find in an arcade. Giant TV, large seating area and bed. It provided great quiet space and allowed for early morning (Women’s World Cup final) and late-night viewing without disturbing others.
Hot Tub and outdoor table/umbrella–Fit six adults in the tub; made for a nice winddown before dinner. Outdoor table seats 8+.
Other recommendations–A drive to Provincetown; Skipper’s clam chowder; great Rails to Trails bike path – easy rental at Barb’s Bike Shop. Got on the trail right there, rode about 10 miles to the start of Nickerson State Park. Quick turnaround to stop for a lunch break at Cobie’s Clam Shack (clam strips and fries!)–then 9.5 miles back.
Owner/manager–Mark provided a wealth of info before our trip and was VERY responsive to any questions we had. Great customer service!
In summary, even if our feet had never hit the sand, the property alone provided a fun and active vacation!

Four adults stayed for a week of birding on the Cape. We felt that the owners had done a lot of work to make an older house into a place many people would want to stay today. The beds were very comfortable, nice hot tub, new pots and pans. Heater, air conditioners, and dehumidifier made the house comfortable in all weather. We didn't use all the recreational equipment, beach equipment, and recreation building, but families would love all of that! The house was historic which meant steep stairs, and to get to the upstairs bathroom, you had to walk through one of the bedrooms. Good screened windows opened, doors locked well. We appreciated the little touches such as plenty of toilet paper, flashlights, a first aid kit, great toaster, Keurig coffee maker with samples supplied, plus a regular coffee maker or two. Huge washer and dryer, and a drawer with the manuals for all the appliances. Good welcome letter, good communication with owner. He even put up bird feeders for us! A huge stocked spice rack, and an amazing phone charging station were just a few of the perks. I would stay there again and recommend it for families especially with kids over 5.

This was the perfect house for our family trip to the Cape to celebrate our grandson's starting kindergarten. We picked this house because of all the toys that are provided, and we actually couldn't use them all in only a week's time! The grandkids loved the hot tub, which they treated as if it were a swimming pool. The big yard was ideal for batting practice. And the driveway and basketball court were just what they needed for scooters and bikes.
We also enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and fire pit. But the real star of the show was the pinball machine, which the adults took turns on with every free moment. Sadly, no one cracked a billion points, but our son-in-law came close!
This is an older house, and did not have the most modern finishes and features. But there was plenty of space for playing with Hot Wheels, floor puzzles and marble runs. All in all, just what we were looking for in a late-summer fun house!

We had a great stay! We were close to the beach (walkable) and the property was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub, the many yard games, basketball court, and the pool table and pinball machine in the carriage house. My kids loved it! We were also close enough to neighboring towns and had no problem getting into Hyannis, Chatham, and even Provincetown. I would highly recommend this stay!

This house was perfect for out vacation! Lots to do at the house, super-spacious hot tub, game room with lots to do including pinball, very comfortable with ACs throughout. Superb communication with owner if there are any questions. We ere very happy with our stay!

Perfect for Families
Mark is extraordinarily responsive which started off the process well. The yard is massive and the house pleasantly cozy. The pictures don’t quite capture how nice the property is in person. You could spend countless hours just having a good time outside. It’s perfect for kids of nearly any age. The location is also ideal on Pleasant St. Highly recommend this rental for nearly any time of year.

Home away from home. It had everything we needed & more, quiet neighborhood & great location to the beach. The house is set up for a great family experience & that’s exactly what we needed. Got to check out the Whydah museum & Provincetown. We didn’t want to leave!

This property was absolutely perfect for our adult family of 4. Everything was really clean and in good order. We spent time in the hot tub and had some great fires with s’mores of course.
There is a lot of privacy and we enjoyed watching our little bunny rabbit family. The location made it easy to get to everything from whale and seal watching boats to the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.
The pool/ping pong table was an added bonus.

Wonderful Home!
This home was absolutely perfect for our vacation! The main house was comfortable and had plenty of space for us and our three kids. It was spotless and well-stocked with essentials. I'm envious of the washer and dryer in the basement as they were huge! Perfect for washing the big, thick beach towels that were provided. We loved hanging out in the hot tub, playing basketball, and roasting marshmallows on the fire-pit. Short drive to beaches and South Yarmouth for restaurants and shopping. Oh, and the outdoor shower was fantastic!

The property is also very large with a nice fire pit. There's a ton of other stuff here like a bocce court, pool table, gaming room etc.

Great vacation
Overall, a great experience. Beautiful property in a great location. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to lots of restaurants and recreation. Property well stocked with lots of things to do. We enjoyed all of the hot tub, soccer, pool, ping pong, etc. TV and internet were good. Owner was very responsive and helpful. A minor negative...the upstairs beds were not very comfortable, but overall we had a great stay and would certainly go back.

Perfect Winter Getaway (covid or not)
We visited the Cape in March, a quiet season, and I wanted to find a property that could easily entertain my elementary school age kids. Mark's home did not disappoint-- there was an expansive yard, a play house and swing set, firepit for s'mores, and a "play" house where they learned ping-pong. In fact, it was a little too successful-- I had a hard time convincing the kids to leave the property to sightsee. This may be a minor detail, but the adults really appreciated the many outlets. Mark was very responsive to my inquiries when I had questions on the technology on his property. 2 thumbs up! Looking forward to visiting Mark's home again.

Pleasant get away with family and friends
The property manager was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We enjoyed the charm of the house and many perks of this property, including hot tub, game room, large outdoor space perfect for snowball fights, basketball and soccer games depending on weather. It was a lovely stay!

This house is fantastic. The property is HUGE. There are two houses on the property so my group was able to spread out during the day while we were working, which was very nice. The hot tub and fire pit are nice. The house is close to the grocery store. The owner was very nice and very responsive. This place is fantastic, it was a delightful trip.

Perfect location in Yarmouth
Quaint older house with a unique history. The outside area is what was most impressive....and where we spent most of our time. The hot tub was a huge hit, along with the large lawn and soccer net, and sleek outside shower!! Perfect location for taking morning walks and exploring nearby beaches and restaurants. Mark was the perfect host and was readily available when we had questions.

First time renting with VRBO and first time visiting the Cape. Mark was terrific with communication and made the whole thing easy. Stayed at the house with our 3 children (15, 13, 11) and everyone had a great time. House was clean, comfortable, charming, and located in a lovely neighborhood. Wouldn't hesitate to rent here again.

Great Accommodations and Location!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Even though it is sold as a three bedroom house, there was actually a “bonus” bedroom set up in the upstairs foyer between the two upstairs bedrooms. The property is large with a beautiful lawn. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also really enjoyed playing ping pong in the carriage house. One thing that we liked about this rental was the extra items they provided that you would normally have to bring, such as beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, coffee pods, sugar, soap, extra toothbrushes (new in the package) Splenda, and some spices for cooking. We loved the location and the nearby beaches were beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Mark's property is wonderful, very peaceful. The carriage house, basketball court and hot tub were favorites of our 4 teenage boys! Great place for families who like to be active but also like to relax - the yard is spectacular. Mark is very responsive and easy to get a hold of if needed. Overall our stay here was great and we thoroughly enjoyed Mark's home! Would highly recommend.

The property is beautiful! We absolutely love it!
Our week started out great! Then a tornado came. We were so thankful the home has a full basement! We stayed in the basement for the duration of the tornado and I was shocked when I was receiving texts from my extended family checking on us! Much to our surprise there was a WiFi backup which allowed us to let everyone know we were good!

Marks property is amazing! It is quiet and secluded yet only minutes from tons of shops, restaurants and beaches. He put a lot of thought and effort into making sure his renters have a wonderful stay and it shows. He was so accommodating and provided us with everything we would need inside the house and outside as well. Our boys had a wonderful time playing between the yard, carriage house and hot tub! They are already requesting we return next year!

Great Cape House
House and property are great. Stayed for the 4th of July week, 2 families , 5 teenagers, perfect spot to hang out or take off to enjoy the rest of the cape from central Yarmouth. Got to meet the owner when I was checking in, great guy who really seems to take pride in his home. Very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again for sure.

A group of friends and I rented this property for a pre-graduation celebration, and we had such an amazing time! Mark was beyond accommodating from check in to check out, and the house and property are so beautiful. We were 100% happy with our experience, and highly recommend it to anyone else!!

This house has everything.....
Family with 4 kids rented this property for a week. The owner is the nicest and most accommodating host. The house has everything a family needs to keep entertained. Large driveway with basketball, safe for kids to ride bikes on. Huge backyard to play sports in, hammock, swing for kids, jungle gym for kids, carriage house with ping pong, pool table and couches to lounge. Can't forget the hot tub in the backyard which was a big hit. Plenty of sleeping space in the house as well. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to other families to enjoy. The owner really has taken a lot of care and thought into maintaining this place and its amenities.
