If you have been exposed or tested positive for COVID-19, please, make certain you are free from COVID before making reservations and coming. The cottage is disinfected between all guests. Your FL family vacation can be an email message away! Minimum age 25. No Smoking. Maximum Occupancy 8; prefer 6 and includes children and infants Dog Allowed if pre approved - must be on flea/tick program, housebroken, 40 lbs or less, and beyond chewing/barking stages. Dog fee applied and is non-refundable. Maximum 2 dogs. No other pets allowed. Affinity, a privately-owned cottage, is one of 29 cottages built in the development of Gulfside Cottages (2002). The location is excellent - just steps to the community pool and to the beach with no roads to cross. The beach is rated #1 by USA Today. Silver Sands Outlet Mall, grocery stores, drug stores, banks, ice cream shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. The cottage is a cozy, two-story, single-family dwelling furnished with comfort in mind. The downstairs has the entrance, washer and dryer room, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, counter area with three stools, eating area with table and six chairs, a half bath, and the living area with two Lazy Boy recliners, a Lazy Boy sofa bed, and a television with VCR. Naturally, there is secured wireless Internet throughout. The two bedrooms are upstairs, and each bedroom has its own bathroom and television. There is a queen-size bed in the front bedroom, and this bedroom has an outside porch. The master bedroom has a stationary, Sleep Number, king-size bed with an adjoining, enclosed sleeping porch (2 twin Murphy beds). There are pocket doors separating the master bed from the twin beds. The cottage is perfect for families. The cottage has three porches for pure relaxation, and there's parking in the front plus a covered carport. Individuals must be 25 years or older. Prefer families. No Smoking. Your family dog is welcome with prior approval for an additional $200, and your dog needs to be on a flea/tick program, beyond the chewing/barking stages, taught to stay off furniture including beds, and house broken. Four beach towels, four beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a cooler on wheels are provided to ease your packing cares. There's a gas grill under the carport for cooking your family favorites. All of the comforts of home are provided for your ideal family vacation. A few comments from previous guests are: * We really enjoyed our stay at your beach house. The cottage is very nice, the bed has my wife and my back in pain, it made our vacation not so good, I would never recommend a sleep number bed it’s just cheep air mattress, the sofa is hard and uncomfortable, the two recliners are small and hard, the beach equipment is all broken or extremely rusty,the walk to the beach was like a mile walk carrying the beach equipment we had to buy plus coolers, it’s a long way from the beach. We will never rent this cottage again, we are very disappointed with the stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the beach cottage! The cottage is immaculate, has everything you’ll need for your stay and is in a perfect location. There is a very short walk on a cute path to the beach. This is a great place to stay!

We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the Affinity Beach Cottage for four nights for a spring break getaway. The accommodations were fantastic. The cottage is well stocked, clean and in a great location for a short walk to the beach as well as shopping. Miramar Beach is a great location to see Sandestin, Destin and other 30A towns. We had a wonderful week staying at the cottage. Sylvia was in touch with us before and during our stay. Great owner communication. We loved having the beach chairs and cooler there and the property was clean and as listed. Great cottage to stay in. Very quiet neighborhood.

Our trip was AMAZING! The property was even better than described and spotlessly clean when we arrived. The host was generous with her contact information and provided everything we needed for a beach vacation. The location was perfect- we walked to the water 3-4 times per day. The cottage community was small and quiet with well kept properties as well. This was perfect for our group!

We had two great weather days. The beach was awesome. No issue with our stay. Some minor issues with neighbors having too much garbage left. But none on the property, the pool was not locked but also had no issues.

Property was exactly as described, very comfortable everything we needed was provided. The cottage community was adorable, and the short walk to the beach was super convenient.
Property owner, Sylvia was so nice and patient with all of my questions. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent!
The cottage was perfect. It was clean, has all the amenities that we needed. It has all the cooking utensils, towels, beddings, beach toys, and it even has a grill! The parking was good for two vehicles. It is close to the beach, close to restaurants, close to shopping. But the superstar behind all this is Sylvia and Charles. They have maintained the place well our communication with them was great. We have no second thoughts on returning, hopefully soon.

What a wonderful home and community! Everything you need and then some! We traveled with our 2 dogs and the property and neighborhood were very pet friendly. Communication with Sylvia and Charles was easy and immediate. They surprised us with a thoughtful gift for our Anniversary which was greatly appreciated:) We definitely look forward to our next stay!

We appreciate very much of the water, sodas and extra things they had for us. It was a lifesaver to have all the toys for the kids to play in the beach. The neighborhood is great with a community pool, family-friendly (and dog-friendly) atmosphere, and is very close to the beach. The house was well-kept and clean with everything we needed for the trip including beach toys, a cart, chairs and an umbrella. Great stay!

So awesome! Cute house! So cozy and the best neighborhood hands down. Loved walking around and talking with all the nice locals and swimming in the pool with my kids. Just the absolute best vacation we’ve had.

Sylvia’s home is wonderful for a family! Plenty of space and quiet. The neighborhood is very quaint. The walk to the beach is about 0.25 miles, easy and safe for kids to walk! The pool is heated which is amazing. The outlets are across the street which is nice when the weather isn’t cooperating. Sylvia was very responsive to all our needs and had everything you would want to enjoy your stay (including beach gear!).
FYI: We struggled getting takeout for dinner because restaurants in the area get too busy to take orders so plan ahead!
We will definitely plan on returning!

We have rented a lot of homes as a family, and not all hosts go out of their way like Sylvia. Thank you for making our daughter's 9th birthday memorable amidst a global pandemic!!

Quiet and Comfortable!
Our family had such a relaxing time at the cottage. They provided every utensil, piece of cookware, etc. needed to cook “at home” for the week. We were nervous about the area and beach being busy with everything going on in the world, but it ended up being super quiet and convenient- we felt so at ease and comfortable! The home owners were so accommodating and kind, thank you!

Better than expected
This was a last minute (like very last minute) trip for us and our first time to travel with our son's dog. Wow. I gotta say that these very sweet hosts really made it so so easy for us. The place is super cool, very clean, easy walk to the beach and plenty of room to move around in. They even had drinks waiting for us in the refrigerator. How nice is that!? Who else even does that!? Those little extras are the things that will keep us talking about this great cottage. Our only regret is that we didn't have an opportunity to meet our hosts in person. Thank you for a great stay!!
