Located in Swain County, this attractive cabin for $1,177 per night is a great option for your next trip. At Pine Tree Lodge, three’s not a crowd—nor is thirty-eight. Yes, this huge three-story log home can sleep up to thirty-eight people in its eight bedrooms, each of which has its own private bathroom. Whether you’re in town with a team that’s competing at nearby Rocky Top Sports World, hosting a family reunion, or on a trip with your church group, Pine Tree Lodge will meet your needs with comfort and style to spare. Not only does each of the eight bedrooms have its own bathroom, but each also has a flat-panel TV and direct access to one of the lodge’s three huge covered decks. The top floor consists of four bedrooms; two have a king-size bed, while each of the other two sleeps eight in a pair of queen-size bunk beds. The primary bedroom is on the main floor. In addition to a king-size bed, this room has its own fireplace and a sofa that opens into a queen-size bed, so that four people can sleep here. The three sofas in the floor’s two living rooms (that’s right, Pine Tree Lodge has not one but two living rooms) also open into queen-size beds, accommodating another six guests. The remaining three bedrooms are downstairs. Two of these bedrooms have a queen-size bed, and the third includes two full-size beds, so that it can sleep four people. In addition to three bedrooms, the lower level is home to the spacious game room. There really is something to keep everyone entertained down here: a pool table, for starters, plus a double shooter basketball game and a Golden Tee golf arcade game. A home theater makes up part of the room. Guests can kick back in the fifteen cinema-style seats and watch a movie or a big sporting event on a 110” projection screen. If you run out of snacks or beverages during your private screening, you don’t have to head upstairs to the kitchen—the game room has a convenient wet bar. Up one flight, on the main floor, are the two living rooms, the dining area, and the kitchen. Both living rooms have so-comfortable leather sofas that you can pile onto to watch a favorite show on the large flat-screen TVs. One of the living rooms has a fireplace as well, making it an especially welcoming space for relaxing after a day of skiing or snowshoeing. There’s a large card table too, where you can play board games or set up your laptop to take advantage of Pine Tree Lodge’s free WiFi. Don’t you hate when a house that can sleep several dozen people has a dining room that can seat only a handful? That’s definitely not the case at Pine Tree Lodge. The whole gang can gather at the huge L-shape, log-style dining table, and if that feels a little crowded, at least six people can sit at the neighboring kitchen island. The kitchen, too, is designed to feed the entire group at once. It’s equipped with two large refrigerator/freezers, two full-size oven/stoves, two microwaves, and even two dishwashers. Pine Tree Lodge’s three decks are also large enough to accommodate a crowd, with plenty of rocking chairs so that everyone can revel in the crisp mountain breeze, the singing of chickadees and larks during the day, and the chirruping of crickets and tree frogs at night. Likewise, the two hot tubs ensure that everyone gets a chance to luxuriate among the steamy, rejuvenating jets of water. The lodge is located in the Hemlock Hills development, which is as quiet as it is conveniently located. Rocky Top Sports World is less than a mile away; so is the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop. Less than fifteen minutes away is downtown Gatlinburg, home to the Guinness World Records Museum, an aquarium, mini golf, and the tram that travels above the town to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area and Amusement Park. Finding a rental to accommodate more than three dozen people can be a challenge, but Pine Tree Lodge more than rises to it. The pictures are some what misleading i’m sure they should be updated. Believe the reviews about a lot of broken items! The code didn’t work to enter the property, The wifi was horrible I had to go outside to make phone calls and messages, One refrigerator was broken, Hot tub, Stool, Ac on the first floor, The movie projector in the theatre. I’ve contacted the property manager before arriving requesting for maintenance to be up to par and that didn’t happen. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! EVen after coming out to fix the projector to have movie night it still wasn’t working. Everything is outdated and the owner needs to have the decency to care about the property. I can say the cleanliness was done properly but that’s the most I can say that was a positive experience.

The property was very clean. We enjoyed the size of the house because we have a large family. We were disappointed that one of the hot tubs did not work. Also one of the refrigerators was not as cold as it should be. One of the toasters did not work properly and the showers for 2 of the upstairs bathrooms did not have hot water.
We still had a good vacation and enjoyed the property.

Very Misleading information promoting the cabin. The Hot Tubs were broken. One hot tub in particular would not heat up even with attempts for over 24 hours. The stair railing very unsafe in the basement, as the railing along the stairs is very loose. Light bulbs missing from lamps.

Everything was as it was advertised. We received information in a timely manner. The rules were reasonable. The rooms with two sets of bunks (queen size) were perfect for all of our teen girls. Overall, we had a really good experience.

We had a wonderful time staying here ohr only issues we ran into were the hot tubs that didn't want to work and the dryers handle being broke which we had to figure out how to open ourselves. Other then that the place was amazing and we would book again

We rented this cabin for our entire wedding group to stay in the mountains with us and attend our ceremony in Pigeon Forge. It was spacious, well equipped and furnished, and perfect for our purposes. Only downside is that you only have 4 small outdoor trash cans for the entire stay. They only pickup the trash during your stay if it is 7 days or longer.

The lodge is a beautiful and spacious facility. It was Im navigate on arrival / great housekeeping. The owners need to do some upgrading of furniture and kitchen cookware. Sofas were overworn and some kitchen cookware broken and of substandard quality which detracted from the quality this property couid be. Our family experience here was the best

We couldn't get the ice maker to work. One hot tub didn't get above 80 degrees but it was perfect for the little kids to "swim" in. We were very pleased with everything else. Had a WONDERFUL family gathering of 5 days together.

When I walked into the kitchen and saw the amazing dining table that we all could sit at, I was in awe. It was that way with everything. We had plenty of room to accommodate all 22 of us without feeling cramped at all. The queenside bunkbeds were perfect for the teenagers. The cabin was very clean, the air conditioner worked fine on the bottom floors but on the top floor it was a little warm, but that was not a problem because we would open the door to cool it off. We loved the 2 well-maintained hot tubs and the large wrap around porch! We will definitely be back to stay at Pine Tree Lodge!!!

Being from a big family that has moved to different states, this was the perfect middle ground with enough room for all 26 of us to stay together..siblings, significant others and nieces and nephews…. Wish there were more parking spots available, even if it was located somewhere else on the property…. This did put us in a bind, considering most everyone is from different states.

All in all a very functional space for our group of 16 (3 kids, 13 adults). The downstairs bedrooms are extremely sensitive to the noise upstairs. So put the early risers in the basement bedrooms. The floor creaking is stupid loud.

This house was perfect for the size of our group - everyone had ample space. We wished there would have been a yard or play area for the kiddos and wished the common areas were a tad bigger/less in them.
The property management company called us to check in and make sure everything was good - we had a few small issues, but they sent workers out the same day to take a look.
The house is in a great location - I think we were about 5-10 minutes from a grocery store and about 15ish minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg.

They worked on the hot water upstairs and said they would return later to check on it which they never came back, also still no hot water. They did manage to get a loaner DVD player for the upstairs. Upon checking out I informed the company of the issues again. They told they would send a message to their compensation department and they would get back with me by the end of the week. Still no response. Worst experience I have ever had.

Family fun
We just finished a week here with our kids and their families. We had a wonderful time and this house accommodated us perfectly. It’s a great set up with plenty of room for large groups we loved the kitchen and the ability to have all 25 of us sitting at the same table. Plenty of room to prepare food and the double fridges gave us plenty of room to store it. Well stocked with two griddles two blenders multiple muffin pans a hand mixer - could use some measuring spoons and measuring cups but plenty of plates, bowls and cups. Bring extra toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent etc if you are staying more than a few days.
We loved our stay and had a few crying kids this morning because they didn’t want to leave.

Spacious cabin in Gatlinburg
Our youth group rented this cabin for a Monday-Friday trip. The bedrooms are spacious and the upstairs rooms with 2 queen size bunk beds in each room was great! We cooked almost every meal on site and the kitchen was suitable for this. The only thing we had to do was buy our own ice as the two ice machines in the refrigerators couldn't keep up with the demand for 33 people. It's about a 30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge which isn't too bad of a drive. If you're a large group, you'll enjoy this cabin.
