We are excited to offer a completely updated oceanfront condo for your vacation! Enjoy ocean views from the living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and be sure to catch the sunrise from the oceanfront deck! The Knotty Duck has everything you need for rest and relaxation or fun in the sun! This space is great for one or two families not needing a giant home, but wanting the convenience of being steps to the ocean and pool! The pool is directly in front of the building and the ocean just a few steps down the beach access beyond that, making it super convenient if you need to run back for lunch, or a quick bathroom break. The unit accommodates up to 4 adults and 4 kids. The fully equipped kitchen, looking out at the ocean makes mealtime less of a chore. Comfortable furnishings throughout are sure to make your stay relaxing and restful after enjoying all the entertainment options Duck and the Outer Banks have to offer. We try and provide as many conveniences as possible so you just have to show up and relax! Four beach chairs and 2 umbrellas are in the beach closet, along with sand toys for the kids. Linens and baths towels are included with all 7 night stays. (Linens and towels can be added on shorter stays for $40 per bedroom, just ask me to add when booking). Located 1 mile from the heart of Duck, offering plenty of restaurants, shopping, and Duck Soundside Park where you can listen to concerts or take a yoga class. Be sure to catch the gorgeous sunsets while walking along the soundfront boardwalk before hitting one of the many ice cream shops. Master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with on suite bathroom with ceiling fan. Sliding door to oceanfront balcony, and a window with a view of the water. Crack the window at night to fall asleep to the waves crashing. Second bedroom offers a comfortable queen sized bed, ceiling fan and plenty of drawer and closet space. Third bedroom includes two sets of bunk beds for four twin beds total, great for the little ones. Be sure to check out all the board games in the closet for game night! The condo is pet friendly EXCEPT in July and August. The condo association does not allow pets those two months, sorry their rule not mine! All other months dogs are allowed with pet fee, 2 maximum. Located on the second floor giving you great views without too many steps. We look forward to having you and making your stay a memorable one for years to come. This was a great condo to stay at, close to the town of Duck. Even though many places are closed this time of year, there is still plenty to do... Exploring Duck and Corolla areas, walking on beach and boardwalk, eating out. And then coming back to a place that feels like home away from home!

The condo is very welcoming and decorated soo nicely. Inviting blues/greens/turquoise furniture, bedding, bathrooms and kitchen immediately makes you feel relaxed and at the beach.
Ocean views are seen as you walk thru into the condo. The open floor plan allows you to see and hear the ocean . Access to the beach is just out the back of the property--so easy.
The owner, Tim was easy to communicate with & quickly responded to my inquiry to stay an extra night. Clear check in/out directions were given.
If we had stayed during the summer I would have enjoyed using the community pool. They also have outside grills, picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a sharing free standing library to pick up a read or donate a book to. This complex is very family oriented.

Overall we had a nice stay at this property. The location is very good and the kitchen has been nicely updated. We have used VRBO since 2000 and have stayed in many properties. A few things were disappointing. We were charged a linen fee for paper thin sheets. Every property we have ever stayed in has included linens in the cost, which is the norm for the industry. When we arrived the bed linens were wrapped in plastic and left on top of the beds. There was no soap in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have at least a bar of travel soap until we could get to the grocery store. The dishwasher only had 1 pod of soap for a four night stay. We had to ask for the Wifi code. It would have been nice to have that info in the unit, as it usually is. As I said, it was a nice stay overall but the experience would have been more positive with more attention to details.

What a beautiful location. Just out of the bustle of the tiny town center, this location in Duck is just right. Quiet, serene, but very close to all that Duck has to offer (which is a lot!) You can see and hear the ocean from the deck and windows, and also have the pool to enjoy. Pool and grounds are very well kept! The condo itself was recently renovated and it shows. Lovely decorations, plenty of room, private washer/dryer, and a perfect view. The owner was also very responsive and helpful! Will definitely come here again!

Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Loved the screened in porch at at the entry. Very clean. Kitchen had all the things you needed. We had a great time sitting on the outside deck overlooking the pool.

The property manager remembered that we had young kids and called me as soon as we could check in so the kids could nap! The place promised everything that the pictures showed. The ocean view was in your face from inside and access to all good things in Duck was literally minutes away. The people were nice and the walk to the beach was so quick and easy with young kids.

This rental was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 small children (2 and 3). With a booster, tons of kids plates and cups, and a closet full of toys the kids were happy. We were happy that there weren’t a ton of glass and breakable things that we had to pick up to keep away from little hands. The kitchen was the perfect size for preparing meals. And that view of the ocean could not be beat. All in all this was a perfect location with all the essentials needed for a week at the beach.
We had one incident at check in with the property management company not having dropped off the linens, but the owner was extremely responsive and helpful and had the situation resolved within an hour (not common from our experience). I would and have already recommended to friends and would definitely come back.

This condo is so perfect for a relaxing family beach vacation. Our family loved the location being just steps from the beautiful, sandy beach AND the stunning pool. The location overall is amazing in that it takes just a short 5 min drive to get to downtown Duck. It was incredibly hot when we visited so if cooler a walk to Duck could be lovely. We flew in to the OBX so we could really only bring the basics. It was helpful the condo came with umbrellas, beach chairs and sand toys/boogie boards. We did rent beach towels from a local place in Duck so we were set. The in-unit washer/dryer made packing a breeze since we could wash things throughout the trip. Would definitely recommend this condo and hope to visit again. Thanks for sharing this piece of heaven with us!

This condo was perfect for our family vacation. We had 5 people and were comfortable with the amount of space. The condo was updated, clean, and had extras like beach chairs, boogie boards, and games. The Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The location is perfect. We had a nice view of the pool and ocean and it was just a short walk to the beach. My daughter likes the pool more and the rest of us like the beach so it was easy to go back and forth between the two. Duck has a lot of good restaurants, live music, and is a close walk or bike ride from this condo. Since most of the houses in OBX are larger and can accommodate large groups it was nice to find a smaller place that was affordable for our smaller group.

The location was perfect, all the way around. The condo is only about a 15 minute walk to downtown Duck and no more than a 20 minute drive to pretty much anything you could want to do in the Outer Banks. Even though it's in the middle of everything it sets back off the main road far enough that it's very quiet and peaceful. The condo had more than enough room for the 5 of us, with room to spare. The decor is all beach related and the place was very comfortable to boot. We also liked that since it was on the second floor you could sit out on the balcony, overlooking the pool, and see the ocean just over the dunes. We spent hours out on the balcony every day and with a great sea breeze blowing directly towards the balcony it was a comfortable temperature, too. Mr. Phelps was really helpful the day of check-in and there were good instructions on hand(posted on fridge) so we didn't have to contact him anymore the whole week. Great condo, great owner experience and a great spot all made for a great weekend. Don't pass this one up! Thanks, Tim!

The location was perfect, close to shops and on the beach. House was very well decorated and extremely clean. Had everything that we would want. Great deck overlooking the pool and a view of the ocean. We would stay again.

This property is in a great location. It is located on a quite street with an amazing view of the ocean. It is about 20 mins from Corolla and about 40 mins from Manteo. It was so nice to go exploring (Wild Horses, Aquarium, Festival Park, Hatteras, etc) during the day and come back to quite evening on the balcony watching the ocean and listening to waves crash against the shore. I would highly recommend this condo and look forward to returning next year!

This condo was perfect for our family! Very clean, good ocean views, and to be able to set in the living room or bedroom and hear the waves crash made us not ever want to leave. The host is great! He is very responsive and wants to make sure your trip is all you expected. We would stay here again and again.

This is what we wanted our short getaway to be. Quiet setting, beautiful views and exceptional lodging. It was our own paradise. The property is well maintained with all the amenities and updated decor. Look forward to coming back. Thank you Tim for all your help.

Recently returned from short stay. This condo is exactly as presented and more. Outstanding location. Very clean, kitchen had everything one could ask for to cook with. Comfortable and quiet. We came with two old hounds. If you have a pet that has difficulty with mobility, pay attention to stairs when accessing and leaving. This property has a different short stay, off season linen policy to be aware of which can be missed in reservation procedure. So awesome that pets are welcome; that was a requirement for my stay. Couldn't ask for a more responsive, hospitable Host. Thanks Tim. We will be back.

Wonderful 2nd stay
Everything about the property was perfect for our family to have a wonderful, memorable vacation on the beach. We had two adults, two 18 year old's, and a 15 year old. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable the whole week. Location to the beach and town was so convenient. Owner is very responsive with any questions or concerns. This was our second stay in this unit/condo and our family will be planning a third. We love it there that much!

Duck Blind Villas
Good location for this property. Within an easy 1 mile walk to shops and restaurants. Good beach access. Could use some updates and attention to details (ie: light bulbs missing in bathroom-1 bulb in a 2 bulb fixture). Although we did not use, kitchen appliances appeared adequate. Inconvenient needing to bring our own sheets/towels for a 4 night stay but the owner was good to reminding us within his communications.

The condo and its location next to the Atlantic Ocean is perfect for a small family vacation. The condo has been recently renovated thoroughly. New kitchen and appliances, new washer and dryer, etc. Furnishings are very nice. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with essentials.
