About this resort

Situated in Rocky Point, this charming resort for $306 per night is a great choice for your next break. This is a beautiful 2 BR unit in the East building. Fully remodeled in 2018. New floors, showers, cabinets, granite counters, fixtures, paint, deck furniture and more! Everything you need for a fabulous beach vacation. There are two bedrooms, both with King beds. Each bedroom and the Living room has a large smart Flat Screen TV with access to Netflix, etc. and a DVD player. We offer Directv with HBO. Living Room also has a hard-drive with over 400 movies to choose from as well as an Xbox game player. MBR has a hotel safe. The kitchen is fully loaded with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. We have both filtered water (RO system for kitchen sink and ice machine) as well as a hot/cold water bubbler. Living room also has couch with awesome pullout bed. All appliances and laundry room with high end upgraded appliances. The balcony has a couch and chair set as well as a six-seat dining table set. Our unit is close to the elevator on the 5th floor with stunning views of the pool and beach areas. The complex has a health club, convenience store, restaurant, tennis court, swim-up bar, and hot tubs. Note that we only allow up to 6 guests.

We go once a year for bike fest. I like renting from this property manager because he's always so attentive. I've never had an issue of any kind. I will not rent from anyone else!

Everything about Steven’s place was perfect, from start to finish! The condo was fantastic with two comfy king beds and a great view from a huge balcony! The resort was clean, staff were friendly, and drinks were great. We all had an amazing time and would definitely rent this condo again!

It was our first time in Puerto Penasco and this property was a great introduction to the beauty of the city. It's right on the ocean, has great seating options above the beach and at the pool area, pool bar staff were friendly, as well as the on site restaurant staff. The store on site doesnt have prices listed on anything so you do have to ask. Their ATM in the store was much cheaper to pull cash than the Santander in town. Highly suggest bringing cash with you. I opted to get pesos and for some reason some locals would charge more than the current exhange rate if you used pesos. Especially the vendors in the beach. Definitely do your excursions in town as they're a fraction of the cost than the jet skis and banana boats on the beach. But you can pay for the convenience. Stephen was great with communication before and during our stay. We did receive a message during our stay about a neighbor reaching out to Stephen with a concern. Which we quickly resolved. The property was clean and a great location. I enjoyed all the supplies already in the room. There were also hanging options on the balcony. The condo is right off the elevator. Also when you take the elevator downstairs you are right by a hallway that leads you to adult section of the pool. They also have a family section and large lagoon lounge that is perfect for toddlers.

Our family getaway this year was a short one. We typically like to stay for 5-7 days. This was just a weekend getaway. Everything went well except for the after 10pm lights out quite time. Security make you feel like you’re in prison. You can’t even carry a simple conversation on the balcony without being called from the security office, knocks on the door, and lights flashing at you. Unfortunately the same rules don’t apply to everyone. Some other groups had blasting music, sitting on grass off their porch or balcony and talking or arguing loudly. We even her a fight next door yet we got called out time and time again. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be staying at Sonoran Sun again.

Celebrating my husband's 70th Birthday. Condo was perfect, it had everything we needed. Beautiful view from the patio. We will definitely rent it again. Host was very helpful.

Very nice. Master bedroom has access to the balcony overlooking resort and ocean. Second bedroom located next to hallway and near elevator so could get noisy. Overall great place.

This condo absolutely lived up to the excellent rating it has on vrbo. From check in to check out I would say this was a perfect experience. The condo is absolutely amazing. Super comfortable and tastefully decorated in a beach theme. We needed nothing that wasn't there. Can't wait to come back to this amazing condo on the beach!

Condo was clean and comfortable! Excellent views from the living room and owners suite, no issues with water heater or water pressure for showers, greatly appreciated the water filtration system. Didn’t end up spending much time in the room to check out the movie selection but the weather at the pool and beach were amazing! Will definitely return for a longer visit next time.

Very nicely upgraded. Has everything you need for an enjoyable time in Rocky Point! Visit with swim up bar staffer Ozzy and enjoy a great taco if you go. Pool was clean and perfect temperature. The patio has a comfy couch and table for options in seating.
