Located in Scipio, this lovely cottage for $297 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Owasco Lake Vacation rental for 1- 2 Guests ! Sleeps 2 maximum. We both have been vaccinated. There is no need to interact during your stay-Self check-in. If you want more details before booking, just ask. We always do our best to help. Our reviews help tell the story. We are close to a 5 rating and have over 130 reviews. We are always looking for improvements to the Rental. We are making outdoor cosmetic repairs and parking area upgrades. This should not impact your stay. Hope you don't think the contactless check in , makes us unwelcoming 🙂. Your privacy is very important to us. Unique Space! Located on the east side of Owasco Lake. GREAT views of the Lake and Sunsets. One Bedroom Queen bed with Bathroom and fully furnished Kitchen. Private entrance, this is a dedicated space on the second level [13 steps] of our Home. We respect your privacy. We only interact as YOU wish. We can say Hello or help with area info, whatever you wish. STEPS to the Lake, yes you must be willing to walk to and from the Lake if you want to enjoy the water close-up.. This space is not for everyone. It takes some effort to go to and from the beach area with the steps. Nice dock on the lake front, great for boating have 4- Kayaks for your enjoyment, swimming and more lake use activities. I have 14’ aluminum boat and a canoe also for your use. Fire pit for your evening enjoyment, Yes -I have wood for you. All new construction, One New Queen bed. Kitchen is ready to go, just bring some food. We supply coffee for our new coffee maker. Deck and Gas Grill for your use. In the unit you will find hand soap, kitchen/bath paper products, nice clean linens, and towels for your stay. All your other needs are just a few miles away-10 miles from Skaneateles and Auburn, 7 miles from Moravia and Fillmore Glen State park. 40 minutes from Syracuse, Waterloo outlet mall and Seneca Falls new Casino. Wine trails within a 40 min. drive in many directions. Many Golf Courses in the area. Off road biking nearby. Montezuma wildlife refuge 20 miles away, Birding, Hiking. Just Ask. Rod and Carm are wonderful gracious hosts. The room exceeded our expectations. Clean, light, airy, and comfortable. We read the description and reviews and knew what to expect with lake access. I’m stair phobic lol so was perfectly happy sitting on the deck to enjoy the breathtaking views. Looking forward to our next stay!

Beautiful setting. We needed a central location to explore the Finger Lakes and weren’t disappointed. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The suite had everything we needed.

Centrally located to 19 different water falls, it was the perfect place for my wife and i to become familiar with one another again. Away from the monotony of day to day life. Rod and Carm are wonderful hosts, you couldn't ask for a friendlier couple to be your host and have opened their space for all to enjoy. Oh and the sunsets are awe inspiring.

We had such a great time for our two night getaway. The space was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we would have needed. We spent the day on the dock, fishing, swimming, and relaxing. The view of the lake was so beautiful. We didn’t want to leave.

We wanted a base to explore the finger lakes region in general. This place was ideal. The unit had everything we needed amenities-wise, a lovely view of the lake, access to kayaks and a boat, and a warm and welcoming host and hostess. We took day trips to Skaneateles (15 minutes) and Ithaca (40 minutes) and recommend both. We will certainly consider staying here again in the future.

This was the perfect spot for a weekend on the lake. Everything was just as described in the listing and the hosts couldn't be any nicer! It had Everything we needed, and it was all very clean. We loved waking up to a view of the lake each day. I would and have already recommended Rod and Carmela's place to family and friends. Looking forward to the next trip out to Owasco Lake to stay at their place!

Cozy comfortable and convenient for exploring eastern Fingerlakes and Ithaca area. Rod and Carmella are super friendly and hospitable, sharing the lakeside and amenities such as kayaks and dock. Nice rural area with great lake views right out of the windows. Beautiful sunsets!

Really enjoyed our stay, plenty of space, gorgeous views, very clean. Location is perfect, close to Ithaca, Skaneateles and Auburn. Owners are delightful and really made us feel comfortable. Hope to go back....

Hidden Gem
This place is in a great location and would say it’s nothing short of a hidden gem. The owners were very friendly and we felt welcome. The room was very clean and has everything you need. The bonus of using their kayaks was a huge plus for us. The views are breathtaking. Be prepared for a little hike for this place is located on a cliff and you need to walk many steps down to the lake. (If you want step out, not the place for you.) I would recommend this place for a nice get away with your spouse or with a friend.

The perfect get away spot!
This VRBO was one of the best we have stayed at! Rod and Carm were friendly and helpful. They provided everything we needed and the use of their kayaks/canoes was a major bonus. The house has was perfectly clean, very comfortable and I loved that we had everything we needed to cook our own food, including a grill! The location was perfect- off the beaten path right on the lake yet close to Skaneateles and the Cayuga Wine Trail. We really loved it here!

Cute Studio. We loved the location and Rod and Carmella were great hosts. One note, because we are nurses, be aware you need decent hips and knees if you want to reach the dock. We do and we enjoyed fishing and relaxing. Successful catch of 4 rock bass, 2 were sizable. also enjoyed watching the bald eagles.

Amazing stay at an amazing place!
We had an amazing experience at this place. The house is beautiful, clean, has almost everything you need, and overlooks a beautiful lake. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the place actually is.

The property was like a construction site. The host was very unwelcoming and he made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We will never stay here again.

Tremendous Blessing
My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful lakeside getaway to enjoy our a anniversary. It was everything that was described in the listing, and the hosts were extremely friendly. It was so kind of them to allow us to use their canoe and rowboat to make some wonderful memories. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, as it was a true blessing from God's loving hands.
