Situated in Tavares, this attractive house for $247 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Beautiful lakeside home on Lake Eustis. This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath lake house ready for you to come and enjoy, fishing, boating or just relaxing on the dock. Master bedroom has a king size bed as well as a office area with a daybed for reading and relaxing. The second bedroom as a queen size bed . Home is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay for a week, a month or more. WiFi, Washer & Dryer, Dishwasher & Bar B Q grill. "Just bring your fishing gear."🐟🐠🛶 Home has a fishing pier, carport, Two boat stalls covered. Parking space for 3 vehicles, and is less that 1/2 mile for local boat lunch. ⛵️ Enjoy fun-filled days boating, fishing and many lakeside restaurants within minutes from your dock. Close to Tavares w/waterfront park, Mt. Dora historical district and great restaurants. Only about 50 miles to Disney, near Ocala, Legoland and Kennedy Space Center. Get away from the cold weather and snow come stay the winter with us.

Material conditions need a lot of work. We had to put window back on its track. All window treatments were broken. Shower was molding. Grill unusable. Bathroom cabinet door fell off. Floors were dirty. Could not find dust pan to sweep. It had a "fish camp" feel to it. Bed comfortable. Lake View was great.

We had a great stay at Jackie's house, which was well-stocked, clean, and with the most amazing view over the lake (better than the photos)! It felt like a home and not a vacation rental (ie, it had character and charm - exactly what we wanted). Communication was very responsive and our host was quite accomodating. We fished and spent a day exploring Mt Dora. We would definitely return and highly recommend staying at this property.

The owner is great with last minute accommodations when property is available.
This property is well stocked with what you may need and is so tranquil we never want to leave! The new extended dock is wonderful. My daughter and I love sitting out there just taking in the beautiful sunrise and sunset on the lake.

This property was a great spot for a father/son fishing weekend. We spent most of our time out on the water and caught and released many fish. The boat dock was very convenient. The location was quiet and close to everything we needed. Sunrise was beautiful and the weather was great! We are looking forward to a return trip.

This was the perfect spot for a birthday celebration weekend. The view is absolutely beautiful. Sitting on the dock in the evening was so peaceful. Beds were super comfortable. A short drive to anything needed and the quaint town of Mount Dora. All 3 friends stated we’d like to come back sometime.

Me and my husband and our dog had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again and again when we are in town, host was easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions we had. Very quite neighborhood on the lakeside. Very beautiful view from the back screened in porch, and our dog had the best time. We had our boat there and had wonderful experiences with places to eat on the water and nice scenic views. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Lovely and relaxing beautiful lake. Good restaurants, grocery stores, and shops nearby. Went on an enjoyable boat tour with a local tour guide. We mostly sat on the dock or the wonderful screened porch and enjoyed the great weather. Of course, it wasn't long enough.

The host was very accommodating. Our plans were rained out but we enjoyed the dock and fishing when we could. The locations was close to mount dora and other nice place to visit. Liked the bakery and distillery in yalaha! We will be returning.

My wife and a friend stayed here and really enjoyed it. The home is perfectly located close to places to shop and eat. The home was clean and had all the amenities noted in the listing. The view - wow, better than the pictures shown on the site as the lake is large and centered right off the new dock. The covered seating area is perfect to still enjoy the gentle breeze off the lake, but shaded for sitting or enjoying a meal. We would highly recommend staying here.

The House is tucked back in some type of peninsula or isthmus with plenty of trees and on the lake directed towards beautiful sunsets. They have installed a brand new dock and the fishing is excellent . My buddy and I caught 5 large mouth bass on he first night we were there. There's a Florida room slash lanai in the back with high vaulted ceilings big enough to have a small gathering or cook out. The House itself is very clean and kept up nice with all the tools needed as stated in the description of the place for cleaning etc...What I really like was that with the house open you get a really nice Breeze from lake Eustis and as I already mentioned beautiful sunsets. There's plenty of privacy and a place to dock your boat either at the dock behind the house or the boathouse in front of the house. The yard was kept up really nice and the house itself was very clean. I have been to several of these vacation homes and I have to say that for the location which is close to everything you need, you get the feeling like your on a tropical lil island. For the money, This was by far the best place that sits right on a lake than any other vacation home I have rented in the past. I will definitely be booking another stay at Summer Breeze. Blake

Considering that we checked in the day the hurricane swept thru, things were great. The host was in direct communication for the 24 hours preceding the storm and was very accommodating. The lake is beautiful and the screen room is the best part of the house!

My sister and I had an incredibly relaxing weekend at this property. The lake view is beautiful. We enjoyed sunsets on the dock and the quiet neighborhood. An easy drive to all shopping and dining. The quaint downtown Mount Dora is close by as well.

- Although the home could stand a deep-cleaning, the main parts of the floor and all of the countertops were sparkling and, overall, the home was clean.
- The LARGE tiled shower was a pleasant surprise and there was always plenty of really hot water and the pressure was excellent.
- My husband and I found the king bed to be firm and comfortable.
- The little neighborhood was quiet and felt quite safe, and the one neighbor we encountered was friendly and welcoming but not at all intrusive.
Our favorites in the area included:
- "Peddler's Wagon" gift/decor/Christmas shop in Eustis (a fabulous experience with mini-cocktails and appetizers!)
- "Fish Camp at Lake Eustis" clam chowder (best ever!)
- Mini doughnuts at the Mt. Dora flea market (like eating a cloud!)
Special note to those planning to bring a boat: My husband and I are new to the boating/fishing game and we don't have a lot of experience maneuvering the truck and loaded trailer in tight spaces. The little road in front of the home is definitely one lane and although the home came with a double parking area we found it difficult and frustrating to get everything turned around to take the boat to the launch area (especially after an 8 hour drive). However, the next time we come, we will go directly to the launch, put the boat in the water, and then go to the home. When we leave we'll do it in reverse - no harm, no foul.
Special note to those planning to fish: we had our best luck early in the mornings right in front of the little neighborhood where the home is. My husband caught many bass on a Berkley flat worm and most of them were quite respectable in size and weight! Good luck!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful, welcoming home. The fall decorations were greatly appreciated…shows the extra care you give your guests We loved the porch, the lake views, and bird watching provided a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed identifying the wide variety of plants in your gardens. Our teens took several swims in the lake, we rented a boat from Plam Gardens Boat Rentals and explored the lakes. We especially enjoyed our ride through the Dora Canal. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable and the provided sheets and towels make the trip easier. The location makes visiting the surrounding areas easy. Thank you again!

Birthday Stay
Overall the place was very nice. Not a place to do much fishing from the dock. There was to much action on the water. Views were very nice. My hubby did catch a lesser siren which was pretty scary looking.

Amazing sunrise views!
We spent a long weekend with family at this property and we enjoyed every minute. There are beautiful lake views from the master bedroom and living room/dining room. We spent every morning sipping our coffee out on the dock and watching the sunrise. There were even a couple fish caught! It was a relaxing and peaceful escape. We brought our portable corn hole game and set them up in the large screen room. There is a daybed and desk set up in the extended main bedroom with gorgeous lake views. We will certainly be back!
