This luxurious resort condominium with spectacular views is located along the 12th fairway of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course and is exclusive only to residents and guests. From the shimmering blue ocean and breathtaking fiery sunsets, to the volcanic mountain top of Mauna Kea and the sound of rustling palm trees, you cannot help but to feel you have landed somewhere very special! This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo is sitting on 30 acres of oceanfront resort property, this well appointed rental has all the luxuries to make you feel right at home. The condo was recently remodeled with new hardwood floors and carpeting and has a fresh coat of designer paint. The new set of furnishings, the authentic Hawaiian art, and the brand new 65 -inch Samsung smart TV with bluetooth surround sound system will make your stay that much more enjoyable. The gourmet and spacious kitchen has granite countertops and cherry wood cabinets. There is plenty of seating for dining as the kitchen bar top seats three and the interior dining table can seat up to six. Additionally, the back lanai, with its fabulous ocean and golf course views, offers dining for up to six people as well as a gas BBQ for outdoor grilling. The master bedroom has a king bed with glass sliding doors that lead out to a large private lanai with two chaise lounges where you can watch the whales breach. The other two bedrooms each have queen beds. Like the kitchen, all of the bathrooms have granite countertops and cherry wood cabinets. The master bath is extra luxurious and boasts a soaking tub with a separate glass enclosed shower with an optional window into the master bedroom. GREAT location and view; great unit, well stocked. Beach equipment was tired and needs replacing. As mentioned in other reviews, the door lock with code malfunctioned numerous times. This occurred one time while we were out of the unit without Hawaii Life’s contact info, stranding us for hours.

We had a lovely time in Waikoloa! The grounds were beautiful and the property was very quiet. There are a lot of rules. We were not able to bring our own water bottles into the pool area and the woman there was very rude to many guests about water bottles near the pool and others playing music by the pool. They do provide water near the pool in small cups. There is also a fee each day to use the pool, that I was unaware of when I booked. You definitely need a car to stay here. I really enjoyed waking up each morning and sitting on the lanai. We had a great time overall, the service at the pool was very poor for us.

We had a great trip, we had 5 adults and 1 child. The condo is a 3 bed with 3 full bath giving everyone space and privacy when needed. Beautiful ocean and Mountain View’s to wake up to. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Plenty of seating for everyone when having dinner or hanging out in the evening. Upscale furnishings for inside and outside and very comfortable beds in each room. Hardwood flooring through the first floor. I would recommend this condo to anyone and would return here on our next trip. Thank you for the stay.

Beautiful property and condo- plenty of space, very clean, thoughtful setup and convenient location. If you want to shop, there are several plazas only a mile away. If you don’t feel like leaving, the pool is beautiful and there is a restaurant on site. They keypad door entry is super convenient for the day you arrive- no worries if you get there late, you’re still good to go! Definitely will stay here again.

We have stayed in other units at Hali’i Kai, but this one is by far our favorite! Our group consisted of a grandmom, two parents and two kids under 10. We had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, and the living room/dining room was big enough for dinners and movie nights. Everything in the unit was in great condition and it was well stocked. They also provide beach chairs, umbrellas and toys which our kids loved!

I love this place. I've stayed twice. Very clean, perfect location and view. Plenty of basic supplies to start you out. Well equipped with dishes and cooking basics. There are many different activities that you can walk to. Easy access to the Queen's highway if you have a car. The clubhouse is nice, staff friendly and they have delicious fresh fish on the menu daily. weather can be stormy on the island in places while this location is generally very pleasant. Our host was very quick to help out with an awkward unexpected door lock problem. We had a solution in a short time and the lock totally replaced in 24 hours.

Hali i Kai 9G met our expectations in every way. This was a return visit and were not disappointed. The unit is nicely furnished , kitchen fully equipped and has that homey feel. Not your sterile timeshare property. Great whale watching from the lanai and pool area. The restaurant/bar on site was a great addition to our evenings when we didn’t want to grill on the lanai.We have reservations set for next year!

We loved this condo - it has everything you need and it's light and bright. The rooms are beautifully done and very comfortable. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I have had on a rental! We enjoyed having beach towels, scuba gear and boogie boards at our disposal. The community club and pool were very nice - the pool location was stunning. We would love to stay here again in the future.

This property is wonderful for a family! Impeccably decorated and very well-appointed with everything you could want for your Hawaiian vacation. Conveniently located, beautiful grounds and views, and many amenities. The pool is gorgeous! Even the knives in the kitchen are actually sharp enough to cut up that amazing Hawaiian fruit! I like to cook for my family rather than eating every meal out, and this place is perfect for that.

Hali’i Kai 9G was the perfect condo for our party of five. Our checkin was smooth and the unit was very clean upon arrival. We had a premium ocean view which did not disappoint. Beautiful sunsets, whale watching, sunshine, and blue skies were always there on our lanai. The unit itself was fully equipped with everything one might need for an extended stay. The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances, utensils, cookware and bakeware. As a group that cooked most every night, we were never lacking for items. The Weber gas grill on the lanai made it even easier to prepare meals. Kitchen staples left by previous guests were a welcome surprise. Some places we have been did not encourage this, so it was nice to have some basics . Starter items (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish and dishwasher soap) were plentiful to last for our two week stay. Beds were comfortable in all rooms and the common areas were spacious. The unit was well equipped with pool and beach items. If you wanted to spend the day at the beach, coolers, chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, etc, were there for your use. As far as the resort itself, it is very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is nice - right on the ocean. There is a bar area, which is open all the time, and food is available most days for lunch and dinner. The food is surprisingly good and the service was always good. The only complaint about the pool is the number of seats available. Like most resorts, people will “reserve” chairs, then disappear for extended periods of time. The pool staff could do a better job of policing the area to avoid this from happening. All in all, we would highly recommend this unit. It is on the second floor, and it is a two level unit so more steps are inside, so it is not advisable for anyone who has mobility issues. We loved it so much we have already booked a stay for next year.

We have been to Hali'i Kai many times, and and love it. We chose condo 9G because we needed a 3 bdrm unit for this trip, and it has a great location within an easy walk of the ocean-front pool / clubhouse. This unit was clean, comfortable and fitted our needs perfectly. Lots of beach toys, great laundry, great Weber grill, comfortable beds.
There were a few items we were disappointed with, though. When we arrived around 6pm on a very hot day, the temp in the unit was 85 degrees on the 1st floor and the AC was off -- it took a long time to cool down. After a 15 hour flight, standing in long, hot lines at the airport for covid screening, baggage claim, and then the rental car, we would have appreciated walking into a cool condo. It's not as if no one knew we were coming. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but had some disappointing issues. The dishwasher was horribly noisy, and we did not want to run it and stay in the room. The refrigerator was a too small over/under unit and lacked a through-the-door ice/water dispenser. Instead, 2 large Brita-like water filter units sat inside the refrig, and took up a lot of space. The over-the-stove microwave was mounted way too high -- it was fine for anyone over 6 ft tall, but awkward to use for others. Finally, the pull out cupboard unit which would have conveniently held the pots/pans fell apart on our third day, and was not useable thereafter. We fished out the pots/pans we commonly used, and stored them on the countertop instead. This condo deserves better kitchen appliances. A couple of us tried to keep in touch with work, but found the internet access to be rather slow, particularly when the kids were watching TV. There were 3 TVs, and each one was set up differently. We never were able to figure out how to access the Spectrum cable tv service. The only way we could get programming on the kids' bedroom TV was to sign into our own Netflix account. Bottom line: we had a great time, and will retu

Access to the Ocean Club including great food, bar, large pool plus a workout room open air looking over the ocean. We loved the Ocean Club and great people there!

Also one of the best locations to watch a sunset. Very spacious and extremely clean condo and bedrooms each have a bathroom available so everyone has privacy. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week in Halli Kai 9G. There was an initial mix up with arrival time and the condo not being ready but Darryl quickly fixed the issue and had the condo spotless and ready to go. He touched base multiple times throughout the week offering any help or services. The unit is clean, spacious and private enough that it easily accommodated 6 adults. We will definitely be back!

My husband had a conference next door at the Hilton, but since our adult daughters were joining, we opted to find a rental. Took me a minute to get the lay of the land with all the condos in the area, but Halii Kai could not have been more perfect! The complex itself is very nice, well kept with gated entry. There is a very nice pool with a restaurant/bar on the ocean with spectacular views (no beach access however due to lava). Our unit, 9G was even better than expected and true to the photos. 3BR and 3Ba let my girls have their own space. We ate on the pictured patio every morning for breakfast and watched every sunset and caught a few whale sightings with the binoculars they kindly have for just that purpose! The kitchen was well stocked and even had condiments in the pantry. All the nice touches to make cooking easy. The closet is stocked with every possible beach toy/ accessory needed. For us, we appreciated the chairs/ umbrella (me!) and the cooler and the nice plush beach towels. For younger families, lots of beach toys and snorkel gear stocked for fun! The beds were comfy. The master has its own deck with chaise lounges and a huge bathroom and giant closet which let us hang our clothes and stash our luggage. The property manager was very accessible with our questions (like where was the nearest grocery store!) and the concierge service they provide for free with the rental was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise. Having never been to this island, I knew nothing and they helped me choose quality companies for our excursions and ideas of what to do. We snorkeled at Captain Cook monument and took an amazing ATV waterfall tour up north in the Kohala valley. Both were awesome! I highly highly recommend working with them. We were there in late January and the weather could not have been more perfect 70-80 degrees!! Thank you for a great place.

Loved the location, the condo and the appointments. However, learned that VRBO now charges extra on top of what you are paying for the unit. Its deceptive as its in small print and is not included in your 'total'. I would definitely stay at this location again, but will find other sources in order to get to the unit.
