About this resort

The resort has a friendly, tropical and unique feel. We are sitting on the edge of the Caribbean Sea with the largest pool and a bar-restaurant and tour operator on site. Our guests can expect privacy as well as friendly, welcoming service. We are conveniently located at the south end of the cobble-stone road (the main one in San Pedro) right across from Mahogany Bay. We are located on the east side, facing the sea, on the serene palm-studded beaches of Ambergris Caye, with easy road, beach, and sea access to San Pedro town’s many bars, restaurants, shopping, and other amenities. And they are all within walking distance. Being just over a mile south of San Pedro Town, the resort is far enough from the hustle and bustle to provide a truly tranquil setting. Day trips to the jungle, cave tubing, zip-lining, diving, snorkeling, etc. begin off our pier located a 1-minute walk from your private casita. It can all be arranged with the tour center on-site - Eric and Ali at Guevara Tours have it all and will make sure you have the best trip - [email protected] +501 672-7559 Each private one-bedroom casita suite (550sq. foot cabana) is finished in fine cedar from the Belizean jungle. Features high wood ceilings, a living room, bedroom area, large ceiling fans, a well-appointed shower and bathroom, high powered, split unit A/C, fully outfitted kitchenette (microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, dishes, glassware and utensils), international cable TV (including all movie channels), each cabana has with daily maid service. We are located on the serene palm-studded beaches of Ambergris Caye, Belize. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea and a panoramic view of it, our guests enjoy swimming, snorkeling and SCUBA diving at the world's second-largest barrier reef. You can enjoy the beach while you have you're lunch and dinner at the resort poolside bar-restaurant. The resort also offers an onsite tour center that can arrange all your water (snorkeling, fishing, riding jet-skies..) and land excursions (visiting the Mayan Ruins, cave tubing, ziplining..). They can also arrange your massage if you'd like. Our guests love our resort because of a few things, firstly, even if we're full, you don't feel it. The resort is situated on a 5-acre lot, so it feels spacious and open. Secondly, nature here is all over, when you hang out at the resort you'll hear the birds chirping, see the iguanas walking around, butterflies and crabs. Thirdly, because we are a 20-minute drive south of town, we are away from the hustle and bustle and offer a truly quiet serene space but if you want to go to town its a short ride in. In our area, you will have grocery shops, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The most important is the fact that it is very very safe here with us. We have 3 staff members who live on-site, and the neighborhood security company sits right by the resort and keeps an eye out all the time. At the resort, you can also rent a golf cart, or a bike, get your dirty laundry cleaned, get fresh pool towels, use the free wifi all over the resort, use the designated office space, play some bowling on the beach, and get any information you might need, right here at the reception desk. If you need everything, anything at all, let us know at +501 602-9029 , +501 226-4220 or at [email protected]

This place was perfect for us, for two young adults and one mom. Very friendly and laid back, lovely pool, bar next door, and local tour company which hooked us up with an excellent and knowledgable guide to Xunantunich. We enjoyed meeting people, learning about history, art, culture, and scuba diving, snorkeling. We're not resort/beachy folks. We loved our time in San Pedro.

The small private bungalow was perfect for what we were looking for. The property was very clean and Mrs. Marcy was amazing - She checked in on us everyday, kept our bungalow clean, and even went out of her way to show us where to eat. Would definitely stay here again. I will say that the beach isn't swimmable but none of the beaches are - unless you go to Secret beach. However, they have a nice big pool that is perfect for cooling off in.

Loved our stay here. We were on our honeymoon and wanted (hoping for) a quiet place without families like some of the other bigger and louder resorts. Casita/cabanas near the ocean. Pool and bar on site. Couples and groups mostly, it was perfect! Couple notes: beach was being re-done after hurricane came through and damaged, so swimming in the ocean right off the beach didn't happen. Bar prices on site were higher than expecting but not unreasonable. Also we weren't aware A/C was extra cost per day (wish we'd been told) but the fans were sufficient and we kept curtains closed to keep cooler during the day. All in all a great stay and recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised to find these super clean and cozy cabanas on the island. The resort has about 45 of these lovely little cabins, each with various bed configurations, a nice bathroom, small living room, plenty of storage and a kitchenette with a microwave, water kettle, and a frig. Plus they have bikes to rent, will do your laundry and a local water tour company on the premises. Their restaurant/bar is right on the beach, next to the deluxe pool so after a morning of snorkeling the Meso-american reef we'd grab a drink and hang out by the pool. The cleaning staff was deluxe, very helpful and kind and willing to help get you extra towels and such. San Pedro is a crazy busy place, the town is overrun with golf carts, so biking into town becomes a test of courage and fortitude, but once you get there there are plenty of interesting restaurants and a Mayan Chocolate shop which is not to be missed! Avoid the big resort restaurants unless you like places like Red Lobster. We found a great little outdoor bbq place a 15 minute walk up the road, Robins, jerked chicken for US8 bucks. The adventure tour company right next to the bar is called Tuff e Nuff and I can't say enough good things about them, make sure you reserve ahead if you want a Cat cruise, we missed going but got to go on two snorkeling trips and had a blast with the very helpful and knowledgeable guides. Somehow we got lucky and got the cabana on the end, directly across from the beach, which was heaven. There are only 3 on the very end so you might want to ask ahead, for the best views. But those are also directly in line for ocean squals, which send the rain sideways and into the windows, oh well, just wipe it up. We aren't AC people so we had the windows open and the ceiling fans going the whole time. Love this place!
