About this cottage rental
Experience all that lake living has to offer on one of Indiana's most beautiful spring-fed sports lakes which runs through the MI/IN border. Enjoy swimming, boating, skiing/tubing, jet skiing, sailing, fishing and relaxing while staying in a 1,440 sq ft 3 BR, 2 Bath open concept lakefront home. Kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and all appliances including double oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig & Mr Coffee coffee maker, and extra full size refrigerator/freezer for cold beverages and food. Option for bed linens, bathroom & kitchen towels and washcloths provided, or bring your own. Full size high efficiency washer/dryer, dishwasher, and gas grill. 60 ft of frontage with great sandy beach perfect for children to play in the shallow water, along with far reaching views of the lake. Large dock for fishing and boat docking. Full width open deck provides plenty of room for everyone to lounge around and enjoy the outdoors. Nice size yard allows for plenty of outdoor games and sun lounging; wrapping up the evening with a nice lakeside bonfire. You will get the best of both worlds by enjoying the sunrise each morning on the front of the cottage and the beautiful sunset on the back side of the cottage. Two kayaks are available for your use. Enjoy the Lake George Sailboat Race each Saturday and Sunday. Watch folks reel in the big catch at one of the many fishing tournaments (the lake is fully stocked with Blue Gill, Bass, Walleye and many others). Enjoy a lake that allows time for no wake fishing and casual boat cruising. During the weekdays especially, the lake is quiet, which allows for non congested hassle-free boating, jet skiing and fishing. The cottage sits on a quiet cul-de-sac which also allows for a relaxing, peaceful stay. Many neighbors are full-time residents, so we encourage renters who are looking for a quiet, peaceful week. If you are looking for a rowdy, party-filled week, this is not the right property for you! Located just minutes from fun dining. Also just a few miles from Indiana’s best state park, Pokagon, which features beaches, hiking, and a toboggan run in the winter. Also nearby are a variety of places: ice cream shops, theaters, antique shopping, mini-golf, go carting, Fremont Outlet Mall, Satek Winery, Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve, and golf courses. The property is also a short 30-minute car ride to the Auburn/Cord Duesenberg and WWII Victory Museums. Another popular attraction just 45 minutes away is Shipshewana. Blueberry picking is 20 minutes away.

Terri’s lake cottage is the most perfect vacation. My family and I enjoyed every second of the lakefront property. We boated, swam, jet ski’d, kayaked, and enjoyed the fire pit and patio. Magical experience
Terri’s lake cottage is the most perfect vacation. My family and I enjoyed every second of the lakefront property. We boated, swam, jet ski’d, kayaked, and enjoyed the fire pit and patio. Great Stay at Lake George
We had a wonderful stay on Lake George. The cottage was in a great location and had all the amenities that we needed. The pontoon rental was perfect and allowed us to spend time on the lake during the day and we enjoyed cruising around the lake in the evenings. The lake views were just spectacular and the weather was great all week.

Wonderful week at the lake
We had a great stay at this lakehouse. Accomodations were perfect for our needs. Comfy chairs and beds. Plenty of room for us. Terry was great at communicating and answering any questions we had.

Lake George Getaway
The cottage was extremely clean and had everything that we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable and nice linens were provided. The lake is beautiful, clean and clear. The buoys around the lake provide lots of room for swimming and water play!

Great for a Family Getaway
A very nice place to stay. We had 6 adults in the cottage, and there was plenty of room for all. It is a true lake cottage, with lots of character and is nicely decorated. It also comes with many updates, including an open concept kitchen, dining and family room area. Newer appliances. Nice partially shaded deck with table for sitting outside. Sandy beach area for the kids to play. Nice fire pit. Good sized side yard for playing cornhole or other games. All of the amenities were great.

Perfect Lake, Perfect Lake Cottage
Beautiful property to relax and unwind. We loved the pontoon, kayaks and paddle-boat. The cottage is one story so it was great for the grandparents and little ones. The owner thought of everything! Bring your favorite food, drinks and swimming suits. That's all you'll need. Enjoy.

Great away!
It was a great place for a get away. The cabin is cozy with plenty of room. Kitchen area is great with a big bar for food prep. Loved all the windows toward the lake to sit and relax and enjoy the view! Nice deck out front and right close to the water. Great spot!!

Great place, right on the water.
This was a very good experience for us. The cottage is well located on the friendly point of the lake. Communication with the owners could not have been better. Everything was in good working order. Fishing could have been better but still caught enough to eat every morning from their fine well running pontoon boat. I recommend this to those that love being on the water.

We loved spending time on the deck, our pontoon rides and campfires. We were very comfortable here and hope we can return some day. I missed being there after we returned home this week. We had one little issue with the refrigerator, but nothing that was a big problem, and the owner was very quick to respond when it was reported. Thank you Terri and Matt for offering your home away from home for others to enjoy.

Excellent summer getaway for the family
We booked this cottage for my mother’s 70th birthday and could not be happier with our experience. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and found the cottage to be quite comfortable. The sandy beach entrance and the availability of the pontoon boat allowed maximum enjoyment of beautiful Lake George. Swimming, boating, and fishing occupied our days and relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake was the preferred nighttime activity. The neighbors were very nice and accommodating. Having grocery stores close made restocking supplies easy. Unfortunately the marina was closed during our stay, so we’ll have to explore that next time. I would recommend this cottage and my family and I will be returning in the future!

Our family rented this lake house for a week in July. Everyone had an enjoyable stay. The house has plenty of room including 2 large sitting areas, large kitchen with island and everything you would need to prepare your food, dining room, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (something very important when kids are involved,) swimming right in front of the cottage, use of kayaks, paddle boat, DVD j players, movies, games...….something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this cottage if you are looking for a cottage to rent.

Beautiful lake house with everything you need.

Wonderful and relaxing vacation at Lake George!
We had a great time at Lake George! We went out in the pontoon boat everyday, and we also used the kayaks and paddle boat. Our kids ages 13 and 8 had a great time too- they swam every day in front of the cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for the week.

Lazy getaway cottage
Really wanted to give 4.5 The house was nice and it was easy to find from the boat while on the lake with a landmark nearby. The kitchen and bedding were well stocked and the appliances modern. We had a lot of rain during the week, so the smart-tv came in handy. We had a 2 year old and a 2 month old and had trouble keeping everyone cool in the bedrooms with the doors closed. It was especially hot outside the first few days. With the bedroom doors open, the two room air conditioners kept the place cool. The deck needs a little TLC with the paint chipping off all over and some window screens pushed out. Without little kids, this would not get a mention. The house could use some child-proofing.
There is a shade tree between the house and lake that was wonderful when you wanted to get out of the sun. The side yard was flat and dry and includes a fire pit. A paddle boat and two kayaks were available for us and got used. We paid extra for the pontoon, which made for relaxing tours around the lake. It's a family setting and the neighbors are quiet. The beach was so nice for young children. Clear and shallow water was enjoyed by all.
The owners were very responsive and timely to questions we had and just great to work with.

Beautiful view and excellent lake access
This property is well located on Lake George, near the tip of Brown's Point and with nice neighbors on both sides. The cottage furnishings are comfortable and the appliances new. The sandy lake bottom near the shore was a wonderful entry point for swimming and we watched a lot of fish being caught out beyond our pier. We enjoyed easy access to the lake, local restaurants and attractions, as well as a half-day trip to a recreation area in Michigan for cycling. The hosts were attentive in answering questions and proactive in ensuring everything was ready when we arrived. We had a great week!

Great family time
We just wrapped up our week vacation at your cottage and loved it! My in-laws used to have a cottage on Lake George so we knew what a beautiful lake it was and couldn't wait to be back on it again. Your cottage is so bright and welcoming yet also cozy in the way cottages should be. You had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Our boys and my husband enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat, taking them down to the "Welcome To Lake George" sign. We had a fire in the fire pit a couple of nights, went to the Outlet Malls, ate at the Hang Out, enjoyed walks everyday along the lanes that follow the lake to admire cottages, and got Tom's Donuts. The cul-de-sac that your cottage is on is quiet and safe for kids. The sandy bottom of the lake in front of your cottage was appreciated too. I would absolutely recommend your cottage to anyone looking to get away to a beautiful but not too busy lake.

Lake George is definitely one of the premier lakes of Steuben County. That is saying a lot because there many lakes in that area and I have been and stayed on most of them. The lake is crystal clear and great for both fishing and boating. The lake access is easy and convenient and the boaters are polite and follow the boating rules and etiquette. The lake is patrolled and monitored to ensure yours and everyone's safety and while it is fairly unique to have a no-wake policy at 6:30 pm, you will find it a definite plus after just one evening. The property is well maintained with all needed amenities and comfortable. The beach is sandy with easy steps to get n and out of the water and you are able to enjoy the view from the large deck that is well shaded. The fire-pit is great for evening family time and there is a grill and/or new appliances inside if you wish to cook there with large refrigerator. The pier is brand new and sturdy and my kids were able to pull bluegill out of the water bigger than my hand. I highly recommend this cottage and you should definitely consider staying here , unless it is the week I want to book.

We have a wonderful time at the lake. Everything was supplied that we needed.
The week was beautiful great weather. The beach area was very clean. The kitchen was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable better then home. We will be back next year. Highly recommend this cottage.

Great get away!
Loved this cottage! It had plenty of pans & dishes as well as a gas grill!! We spent every night around the fire pit! It was a great get away! Sleeps 10-11 people!!!
