This beautiful island home is single level, beautifully furnished, with ocean views and a private pool. Located in a gated subdivision and situated on a level 0.61 acre corner lot, this spacious 4 bedroom 3.5 bath home opens to a huge covered lanai, pool, grassy back yard and trade wind breezes. The generously sized living room and kitchen form the central hub of activity with ease of access to covered lanai, pool, and bedrooms and the living area features 9 foot ceilings. This 2003 home received an extensive kitchen remodel in 2013 with Siltstone counters, floor to ceiling Belmont cabinets, new appliances, and granite sink. Other significant upgrades include central air conditioning in living room and kitchen, zoned air conditioning in each of the 4 bedrooms, a half bath off the hallway by the living room and plush carpet. The primary bedroom has a king size bed, ocean views and access to the lanai. The master bathroom offers double sinks, a soaking tub and separate tiled shower. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, en suite and also enjoys ocean views with access to the lanai. The 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed and the 4th bedroom has Twin beds, the 3rd bathroom is a full bath shared by 3rd and 4th bedrooms. The tall doors & ceilings, in addition to the color and material choices, are fitting of this contemporary home. The property is lavishly landscaped with and an array of tropical plants and extensive lava rock walls. Kahakai Estates is a gated subdivision and is convenient to ocean, Kailua Town and Keauhou, yet its single entrance and private streets create an enclave fitting of excellent vacation homes. There is a 5 night minimum stay/10 during Ironman & Christmas season. This is a non-smoking, no pets property. Hawaii Tax ID 026-847-6416-01. What a great vacation home! The house worked brilliantly for us - lots of space to be together and also to have separate quiet time - inside and out. Beautifully landscaped providing private back yard living space. The home was very clean and well equipped. All of our generations loved it and highly recommend this home!

We spent 5 nights at this beautiful home on the Big Island. It is even better than the photos. The floor plan is perfect for a family/group stay, allowing for excellent gathering spaces and privacy when needed. A lot of our time was spent in the pool and on the lanai which are beautifully maintained and comfortable. We felt comfortable and safe to allow teenage grandson to walk around the neighborhood. There are umbrellas, coolers, and great pool and beach toys available in the garage.

Great swimming pool for the kids. I loved the spacious main bedroom suite--walk-in closet, roomy shower, double sinks and long counter. Beautiful lanai, gorgeous landscaping. Birds serenaded us every morning. House was exactly what was advertised.

This lovely ranch-style home was a perfect place to spend the Christmas holiday. All the rooms are on one level. We relaxed over coffee on the lanai, grilled steaks on Christmas Eve and enjoyed the sunset views every night. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. Kona restaurants and shopping are just a few minutes away. We also had access to beach chairs and an umbrella. Management services were convenient and well organized. We would definitely consider renting this home again.

This house was amazing! We’ve been to Kona several times, and this was our best VRBO yet! The bedrooms are nicely spaced for quiet and privacy, enough bathrooms that nobody is rushed or waiting, and a great pool! We had 8 people on this trip, and we will definitely be booking again.

When our grandchildren were younger we could all stay in our condo. Now they are 18 and 14, and for the last few years, that no longer works. The house was perfect for the six of us. The lanai comfortable and the pool great for swimming. Pool toys, beach chairs and snorkel gear all available. It’s beginning to need a bit of TLC but otherwise—Perfect!

Exceptionally clean, comfortable, layout wonderful for a mix of family and friends. The supportive items for meal prep were the best we have seen in prior experiences. There was nothing we needed that couldn't be found. The pool was delightful and enjoyed. Patio area delightful. Only snag: understanding how to get music to play. Arrived with music playing (nice welcoming touch) and then we never figured out how to get it back. TV/Movies available but we were not interested in those. Too beautiful outside to watch TV. We loved our stay here. The house was amazing with everything we needed. Only complaint is that we pre-paid for the twin beds to be converted into a king prior to arrival and unfortunately it wasn’t done and we had to have somebody come out to do that.

This was the perfect spot for our group of 6. The outdoor space was fantastic for hanging out in the sun and patio was fully equipped for shade as well. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. Close to the action in Kona but away from the super touristy areas. We will be back!
