The view was beautiful. Had a fun weekend, lots of laughter. Game room was fun.

First impression is the spacious inside where there was room to accommodate everyone comfortably. The house was clean, well stocked, great attention to detail, fabulous views and perfect in every way. It was a perfect place to sit back and relax. We did all our own cooking and found all we needed was provided. It was also easy access to the ferry and Seattle for out of owners who wanted to do a bit of sightseeing. Thank you for helping us make lots of memories.

My family spent Christmas here and it was ny nephews first Christmas! We had a wonderful time and there was enough space for everyone (8 adults, 1 baby, 1 dog) wothoutit feeling cramped. There were 3 tables which made doing a puzzle easy without having to clean up/move and the hot tub was wonderful! A few cleanliness issue (rat traps, ants) but the pros outweighed the cons. Unfortunately the hdmi ports had been damaged by previous guests so we were cautious about plugging in our items but gave us more family time to play board games. The host was wonderful and everyone loved their stay
a remarkable view. Thanks Dave for making this possible!

This place feels like home. Great for curling up with a book, board games and bonding with family. I hesitate to say too many good things, tho, or it won't be available for our next trip.

Very nice and cozy house a short drive away from Seattle. Perfectly lovely for a cold rainy December weekend.

We had a lovely time! Only wish we could have stayed longer! Plenty od room for family, friends and the pups! Nice big kitchen and living room areas. The solarium is wonderful and the hot tub is a nice extra. We had fun roasting marshmallows un the fire pit. The shallow inlet stays warm enough to swim in, even at the end of September. Beautiful views with your own beachfront fun!

As the organizer i was not abke to attend due to having COVID, but my friends at the retreat said they loved the house. Only negative was the close proximity of neighbors.

A great out of the way location. Great view of Dyes Inlet with seas and herons. Beautiful sunsets. Good kayaking ar hi tide. Easy access to local parks, Bremerton, Poulsbo, Silverdale and Port Orchard. Worked out great for 8 adults and three dogs with the additional guest house. Lovedi being able to pick pears and plums just feet from the house. Dave the host was readily available.

The property and general house was great! Not sure what you have going with the septic. That is definitely a problem that should be addressed. However the extra house and beach properties were a great fit for our family. Brought back many wonderful memories of living on the beach in Gig Harbor

We had a diverse age group of family from ages 3 to 71! Our Michigan family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this vaca venue being on saltwater; kayaking; low tide shell discoveries and first time trying fresh steamed manilla clams. The house and guest house was remarkable for being almost 100 yrs old. What a fun experience. Weather was absolutely great; and we were able to watch the Suquamish Tribe harvest clams on this venues tide lands!! Dave, the host, was great to work with. We could have used a couple more rolls of TP for the 14 but we made it work!! We'd love to stay again some time.

We were a group of eight; age range 5-70. We had a great time sunbathing; paddle boarding; watching sea life and reading our novels.
The log cabin house had plenty of seating area to eat together or set-up puzzles or just chill.

Easy access to the beach made our stay exactly what we were hoping for. The beach exists even at high tide so there was always an opportunity to be beachfront. We had kids in our group and their favorite part was simply beach combing. The house met all our needs and had plenty of towels available, which our group appreciated!

Quiet, waterfront property with lots of outdoor stuff to do if weather is cooperating. Loved the game room and the sun room, comfy couches when weather was a little rainy. Close to all kinds of nightlife, walking trails etc. House was rustic but very comfortable.

Stayed here with my sisters and our kids for a weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaking, clam digging, cooking/eating meals together in the big kitchen and solarium, playing games at the big tables, and staying warm near the fire pit! It was perfect and cozy for our group and I hope we can plan another trip here again!

My husband and I and our adult aged kids enjoyed a wonderful time ringing in the new year at this spacious, well equipped home. We all enjoyed spending time in the beautiful solarium watching the eagles and seals and curling up with a good book. The instructions for the property were clear and concise and answered all of our questions. Dave was a clear and very responsive communicator as well. If you have a large group , this is an ideal place to stay with both buildings available. We loved the character of the house and enjoyed our time immensely. It certainly would be fun to go back in the summer time ! I would definitely recommend this property!

Each year, four families go somewhere for a long weekend for a holiday getaway. This house was great for our large group. Our kids vary from 1-14 years old and everyone had a great time!
We hope to book again during the warmer months.

We enjoyed the inlet view, kayaks, peacefulness and fresh air. We saw an eagle and some seals. There were plenty of options of tables for eating and plenty of dishes. The stairs do not accommodate baby gates, top or bottom. The game cabin was a fun addition. Understandably got hot in the cabin in the late afternoon, there is shade in the front yard. The stars at night were spectacular!

We rented this spot for a long weekend with friends and our collective kiddos (2-5 years). I’ll start with the good stuff:
The waterfront component of this property is what makes it great. There’s a back patio with a hot tub, two tables and big umbrellas, and a gentle slope down to the water. The beach here is not sandy - more so shelly and silty - but kind of in a protected cove and very shallow/warm for a ways out. This was perfect for young kids; it felt safe and comfortable for them to splash around in, with clams, crabs, tiny anemones to look at. And swimmable for adults! It’s also super easy to take out the kayaks and paddle board. We all took turns alone and/or with the kids, and saw giant lions mane jellyfish and curious seals (including one young dude who really loved people!). Many eagles too. The beach was the highlight. Also a nice tv in the main house to relax and watch cartoons, and plenty of dining space. And the manager was very communicative and pleasant and provided clear instructions.
As for the not-so-great: when we first arrived we were a little taken aback by just how old the main house is — not much has been updated, and the second floor has some significant settling that adds a tilt to part of the floor. When we arrived it was also an 83 degree day and since everything was locked up, the house - particularly the bedrooms and sunroom - were broiling. Luckily the bedrooms cooled down after running the AC units for a bit, but be aware the super cute sunroom is not comfortable in the afternoon in summer. Lovely in the am and nighttime. It’s worth noting the guest house seems like a converted garage, with concrete floors on the first floor and dim lighting that didn’t really inspire hanging out. The 2nd floor is cozier with carpeting, and stayed cooler with the AC, but definitely has some rougher edges too. (For example, the overhead lighting was essentially installed by sawing a rough rectangle out of the drywall above and sticking in large fluorescent lights.) The one bathroom in the guest house is also pretty far from the sleeping area, which matters more with a little kid. But it was fairly comfy, could sleep many, and the first floor was great for our dog to hang out. It’d be perfect for teens too!
Overall, while the aging of the main house left some polish to be desired, we really enjoyed our stay there. Pretty wonderful for groups, especially kids or teens, but really anyone who enjoys being in the water!

This was everything we hoped it would be. The guest house provided a place for friends to join the grandkids for a few nights. The kayaks, hot tub, pool and ping pong table was used and enjoyed by all. This house had everything we could possibly need and then host was extremely accommodating.
