Over forty mature palms, create a tropical-flavored hideaway with beach-front living, mere steps from the ocean, via your own private boardwalk: Breathe Easy provides the family-friendly home that will make your vacation holiday special. And, our Guests’ 5-Star Reviews prove it. The two living areas provide a generous number of seating options to accommodate your entire party. When not at the beach or enjoying the pool area, over-sized TVs are found in the two separate living areas, with Smart TVs also in the four king bedrooms. Over 3400 sf means lots of room for extended families. Upstairs, the large, open-house plan includes a living room with over-sized couches and a 75-inch HDTV; dining for twelve; a well-equipped kitchen, with Viking 48" gas dual-fuel, six-burner range with double ovens, French-door refrigerator and farm sink. As the Reviews attest, the home includes additional seating and eating areas on both levels for a total open living area of over 1200 sf. The expansive balcony provides outdoor easy living, whether watching the dolphins or the kids playing on the beach or in the Gulf. Four bedrooms have king-size beds, with three having private bathroom access, for a total of four baths inside the house and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The ground-level living area has a morning kitchen with an additional full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, as well as, another generous sitting and dining area. Bedrooms in this area include one with a king-size bed and the other, a children's bunk room, with two bunk-beds. The fourth bath is also located on this level with a large walk-in shower. Breathe Easy's private, heated pool, with water-fall and extensive sunning area, includes multiple chaise lounges for sun-bathing or relaxing. The pool is surrounded by dozens of palms and other tropical vegetation, creating a unique, very private atmosphere. (Pool heated for a fee when outside temperature amenable, with maximum pool heat at 85 degrees.) Breathe Easy encourages Guests to grill by the pool, with two large dining tables with chairs (comfortable for twelve) and both a Weber gas grill and another park-style charcoal grill, also in the pool area. The ground-level beachfront patio provides additional ocean-side lounging and eating areas. Both the outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) and fish cleaning area are optimally located near the house and beach. This property looked amazing in the pictures, but upon arrival, was even better in person. Beautiful, clean, amd spacing. The owners were amazing and attentive as well. Great communication and they pay attention to all of the little details that make a vacation stay special. The location is right on the beach and the house comes fully equipped. The in ground pool was magnificent and when they warmed it up it was a gamechanger. We had a party of 4 adults and 2 kids, but this place could comfortably house 12. If you stay here you will not regret it. We would highly recommend this property and will be looking to stay here again the next time we come to SGI.

We visited SGI to Breathe Easy for our 2023 Family Vacation. Ages ranged from 13-88. We were a party of 8. Breathe Easy exceeded our expectations from day one. The house was huge, plenty of space to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I've ever seen from spices to plate wear and untensils. The view from the back porch and side porch are breathe taking. We watched the beautiful sunrise every morning as well as watching dolphins 10ft from the shore playing everyday!! They have plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, and towels you dont have to bring any of that with you. The owners Bob and Sharon were amazing and very punctual to any of our needs. We are already planning our trip back. If you want a slice of heaven and a beautiful beach house Breathe Easy is your pick! 5⭐️'s across the board!!!

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Everyone had lots of space, and you can’t get any closer to the beach. The views from inside were fantastic too. The pool was a great place to cool down in the afternoon, and it was a lovely area to enjoy a meal together as well.
We all agreed this was our favorite by far!

Beautiful property with everything you could need for a week at the beach. Large pool with lots of seating and privacy. Nice decks overlooking the ocean for your daily dolphin viewing. Plenty of room for everybody and sitting spaces on both levels. Kitchen has everything you could need and then more. Owners are amazing and even left little surprises for us for a warm welcome! Sharon was very quick and responsive to all questions. Amazing beach front property!

The house was better than we expected. It had everything we needed for the week including beach chairs, towels, beach toys, umbrellas and boogie boards. The pool was great for when the kids were over the sand. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. The location was perfect. Zero crowds on the beach. We rented a golf cart which worked perfect on the island. Communication was better than I could have imagined. We especially loved the extra treats for us and the kids. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at “Breathe Easy” with our family and had a fabulous week. The house had an amazing view of the beach and water from both levels. The kitchen was fully stocked, including a croc pot, which we used. We loved long walks on the beach and enjoyed the close proximity to the water. We also enjoyed the pool and floats to relax. The house is large enough for everyone to have their own space. It was clean and comfortable. The gas grill was perfect for gilling burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and even pork tenderloin. The house is centrally located on the island which made shopping at Piggly Wiggly very convenient (only 3 minutes away).
Ben and Sharon were the perfect hosts and easily accessible to answer any of our questions. We would definitely recommend this property for your family beach vacation.

Ben & Sharon’s home met all of our family’s needs. Excellent communication before arrival and throughout our stay; very attentive to the few requests we had. Wonderful memories made with our children and grandchildren.

Our family of 11 had a great visit this past spring break. The place was very spacious and with all the space everyone had their own area, especially for the teens. Wonderful views and great spot right on the beach. The heated pool was a very nice perk since a few days were on the chilly side! Property owners were wonderful to work with and even left a box of goodies for us for at arrival. We look forward to another visit next year, would definitely not hesitate to rent again. Thank you so much Sharon and Ben for an amazing week!

Access to the beach was excellent.
The property maintenance was poor:
Landscaping was overgrown and untrimmed
The downstairs exterior entrance way was filthy
The soffit and was in a state of decay
The outdoor shower is ineffective
The hose bib outside near the fish cleaning station does not work
The windows are dirty and many of seals are broken causing the windows to fog distorting the view
The interior and exterior grills do not work properly
The storage box for pool toys is filthy
The pool deck needs power washed
The interior was generally dirty
The ice maker in the refrigerator does not work properly
The pool needs painted and the stairs are rusty
The description of the property should indicate the downstairs living area is below ground level with poor views, low ceilings, and a small bathroom with its only access through the bunk bedroom.
On our first morning we requested the owner to have the pool ladder fixed and the pool area cleaned. Sharon knocked on our door at 7:30 AM telling us that she wanted us out of the house immediately. We able to defuse the situation and did get the ladder repaired but the pool area was never cleaned.
In my opinion, this could be an amazing property if it were maintained properly. We will not stay here again.

It was a great relaxing week. The property is in a great location. Loved the home and pool. This is a great home for larger groups. In fact, we are planning on returning next year with the kids and grandkids.

The photos do not do this home justice. Perfect spot with your choice of beach or pool. Ben and Sharon could not have been more helpful or kind. It would be helpful to have the some of the kitchen cooking sheets replaced. We will tell others about this wonderful place.

First time here in St. George Island and this property was amazing , the views from all the windows were unbelievable!
The layout of this house gives so much space and room for bigger family stays and the owners were so kind and great to work with!

We just returned from our second wonderful family vacation to Breathe Easy. The house is directly on the beach with a great walk out basement. The basement works well for grown children with family of their own. The house is well stocked with anything you would need for cooking, extra beach towels, etc. It's a very comfortable home and Ben and Sharon do such a great job on the little details to make you feel right at home. They are also very responsive if anything is needed during the stay. We will be returning!

Breathe Easy will be a do over!
Our family has stayed in numerous houses on St. George Island over the years. Breathe Easy is by far the best house we’ve stayed in with our kids and grandkids. The house was exceptional clean and extremely well stocked.
The open floor plan made for a very livable and relaxing setting that was so much bigger & better than we expected. We enjoyed spending time on the covered deck/patio area watching the dolphins and relaxing. Cooking in the amazing kitchen was the best!
We usually never rent the same house when we vacation. We’re always looking for a house just a little better than the one before. We all agreed this house is definitely a house we'd love to vacation in again!
Sharon and Ben are the best! They truly cared about our comfort and wanted us to have a wonderful time vacationing in their home.

Tons of space to spread out
We had a wonderful stay! Pool was sheltered by house and surrounding palms allowing us to enjoy the outdoors even on a couple of super windy days. House was much bigger than we thought with lots of seating so we could all watch movies together or spread out to read, puzzle, etc. Lower level bunk room allowed my granddaughter to sleep while we enjoyed late nights upstairs. Very well equipped kitchen and bar areas with 2 refrigerator freezers and a wine cooler to hold food and drinks for all 9 of us. We will definitely rent this property again!

Amazing place
I can’t say enough great things about this place! First off the owners are so nice and attentive to any needs. They left us a box of chocolates and a box of baked cookies. The place is so spacious, and I love the way it was decorated. The kitchen had literally everything you could imagine. Probably one of the best stocked kitchens we seen in our years of travel. The view is phenomenal!! The pool was gorgeous and water was perfect temperature. Beds were comfortable. You really couldn’t ask for a better place to rent. The beach is just steps from the house. There were plenty of beach towels, bars of soap in every bathroom, extra pillows, toilet paper, you name it. My only suggestion to the owners, probably will need a new couch as some point, and a couple more chairs for the beach. Although they had 24 (yes 24) chairs at the pool, I didn’t want to take such nice patio furniture to the beach. Honestly, trivial matters compared to how much we loved the place. We would most definitely rent this home again. We loved it! Ty Ben and Sharon for letting us rent your lovely home 😊

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VACATION
Our family vacation was so absolutely amazing I don't know where to begin. I guess it started when we opened the door. I heard, "Wow, this house is nice!" "Wow look at that view!" "OMG look at this kitchen!" Then there was a short pause when the gift box of cookies was discovered. (Thank you Sharon) The house was as if it had been built for us. We felt at home from the minute we got there to the minute we reluctantly left to return home. The back deck was a favorite for sitting and watching dolphins and pelicans and for my 2 granddaughters to nap on after a busy morning of building sand castles, collecting shells, and playing in the shallow ocean water. The pool was a big hit and was used EVERY day while we were there. There was plenty of quality sturdy poolside lounge chairs for us slightly aged folk to relax and laugh at the youngers as the swam and floated and played in the beautiful large, 'warm' pool. (you were right, Sharon, it was warm enough without the heat. Thank you for saving me that money." We watched the dolphins hunt and play every day that we were there. Oh, we also rented a golf cart for the week. All 9 of us piled in one night and went for ice cream. It was so much fun and the ice cream was delicious!!! I think between the 3 adult couples we ate at every restaurant on the island and each one seemed better than the last. We shopped at both grocery stores and both were amazing. We didn't have to leave the island for anything. Even if the house had just been mediocre, the island, beach, and people would have made it a great vacation. The house was far from mediocre though, it was spectacular and made this the best vacation any of us have ever had. I am sure we will be returning. Thank you Sharon and Ben for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of Heaven on St. George Island.

Great family spot
Great location with the beach out the back door and the pool area is great for kids. Lots of privacy, sun and shade and space for grilling and eating outside. Back porch on the Gulf side is perfect for coffee or cocktails.

Older home, needs some repairs and updates, but a great kitchen and living area. The pool and outdoor area were very nice. The place has everything you need to enjoy a great beach vacation.
