Quiet neighborhood between First and Second Beach. Great Location! Very comfortable, cozy home. Easy walk to First Beach/Easton Beach (3/4 mile), Cliff Walk (1.1 miles) and the International Tennis Hall of Fame (1.8 miles) & Historic Bellevue Avenue. It is 2.1 miles from Thames Street - downtown Newport and a short Uber drive. Three minute drive to Second Beach. You can stroll the Newport Mansions, art galleries, art museum and shopping galore. Two miles to downtown Newport night life, shops and restaurants. Walk or bike to all the sights: Norman bird sanctuary, hiking at Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge or Purgatory Chasm, breathtaking Cliff Walk, Rotunda, Aquarium all in walking distance. Short drive to Ocean Drive, fishing, kayaking, kite flying, Fort Adams State Park, sailing and relaxation. Pets allowed. Our dogs love it! Beach cottage with original hard wood floors & fireplace. Beach decor. Very comfortable home. One queen bed, one full sized bed, one twin, one cot and two comfy couches. Most rooms have ceiling fans. Air conditioning window units in the summer. Kitchen has new refrigerator and stove (Spring 2022). Stove/Range has air frying. Fenced-in large back yard with gardens and flowers. Outdoor shower, gas grill. Driveway parking: Up to four cars. Flat screen tv (42"), Blue-Ray player, Cable & Wireless internet. Cambridge Soundworks radio/CD player. Includes linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and fully equipped kitchen, outdoor table and chairs. We are committed to making your stay a memorable one! Loved our stay! My family and I had a great experience staying at the cottage. The location is very convenient to Newport and other surrounding restaurants and attractions. The house is nice, clean and well equipped with everything you would need.

The cottage is very charming and so perfectly located near beautiful beaches and a short distance to historic Newport. Cynthia tips for local eating spots and grocery shopping were so helpful. She is a very attentive host and helped to make our stay memorable.We are planning to come back!

The perfect location for a trip to Newport. Easy access to the beaches and all the restaurants and activities in Newport. Check in process is easy and the house is always clean (we have stayed here for vacation for four summers). Highly recoomend.

Stayed a few days with my girlfriend and dog for a wedding. The house and location are great. The backyard is nicely fenced in and pretty large so was great for the dog to run around in. Would highly recommend staying here!

The house was perfect for a weekend exploring the Newport area. When the weather was nice, we grabbed beach chairs from the shed and drove over to Second beach. There was a Red tide at Easton Beach, otherwise we could’ve walked there. When the weather was not great, we were a 15 minute drive to downtown Newport. Plenty of good restaurants nearby if you don’t want to drive anywhere. Great place to stay for a couple or family!

This is a lovely cottage with a great backyard and great location, easy walk or drive to nice beaches, Cliff Walk, etc. The cottage was clean and well-appointed, and located in a lovely neighborhood. Host Cynthia was extraordinarily helpful and responsive.

Cynthia was extremely pleasant to communicate with along with very easy to get ahold of anytime.
We went up to Newport (from CT) for engagement photos and to do some wedding planning and the stay was perfect for us.
We have a 12 year old boy and a 1 year old golden retriever. Slept everyone great including my sister who came up for a night.
The fenced in backyard was a breath of fresh air for us but especially for our puppy.
The house was clean and in a fantastic location. (5 minutes from the dog friendly Cliff Walk & 5-10 minutes from downtown.
We will be booking this house in our future Newport trips! Though the house is in Middletown, it might as well be in Newport.

Cute and cozy house in a great location and quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and shopping nearby and just a short distance into Newport. We golfed a couple of days at two courses only 10-12 minutes from the house. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Good sized fenced-in yard for our dog! We had a great stay and would stay here again. Thanks!

If you have a dog - this is THE place. Perfect fenced yard and very dog friendly house. Quick walk down the block to the beach. We could not have asked for a better location. If you have a bike - bring it - so easy to pedal over to Newport proper.

We had an enjoyable stay that included our dog. Only a short distance to Newport. We walked alot and visited the beach. Enjoyed the Atlantic Grill. Loved the Bottega Bocconi italian deli. Drove to Matatunuck Oyster Bar which is excellent!. Very relaxing to stay in a house.

This property was just what my weary family needed! Our getaway was so special because we could bring our pup with us! Our experience was top-notch from start to finish and we wholeheartedly recommend this lovely cottage for anyone looking for a quiet and low key vacation!
The cottage itself is adorable and very comfortable. The property owner is kind and shared lots of info about the property and vicinity.
The beaches are lovely and there is plenty to do even on a rainy day. There are many dining options in close proximity to the cottage as well as grocery stores just a short drive away.
If you’re looking for a vacation rental for a small group, this is THE place!

Clean property with all necessary amenities, excellent location for walking to beach/restaurants and short drive to downtown Newport Beach shops and dining. Owner was outgoing and gave great advise for sites; accommodated our early arrival without a concern and the property was as listed and better. Great residential neighborhood, would highly recommend.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband, my parents, and our pups. The location of the house was perfect, so close to the beach, the cliff walk, mansions, and only a few minute drive to downtown. We were also pleasantly surprised by all of the great restaurants right by the house in Middletown. Cynthia was great at communicating and very flexible/accommodating with our needs. We definitely hope to be back!

This is what VRBO is at its best: clean and convenient property that feels like home; kind, caring and responsive owners; you leave feeling like you can't wait to come back. We stayed there for a sailing clinic and it was convenient, quiet, and gave us the opportunity to take a walk on the beach after dinner. A great experience.

The house was very clean with comfortable beds. The beach is about 2 blocks down the street and an easy walk. Very close to restaurants. The owner is very accessible for any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay there again

Very relaxing and nicely decorated. The owner has thought out many of the details to make it an enjoyable stay. The kitchen could use some newer pots and pans, cooking utensils etc...for preparing a meal at home and there may have been someone using the house who smoked. Aside from those two things our stay was excellent and would gladly go back!

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend for a wedding and brought our dogs. Great location- 2 blocks to beach and a short and inexpensive Uber ride into Newport for all the wedding festivities. Cynthia’s communication was excellent, and the home had everything we could need, including amenities for the dogs. Everything was clean and fresh. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the cottage for a friend’s Birthday for two nights. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need, very well maintained, and has a lovely backyard area that is nicely landscaped. The house is in a great location in walking distance to the beach. It is decorated very tastefully in Beach decor and the owner was very accommodating and responsive. We all agreed we’d definitely be back again!

We stayed for a long weekend to attend a friend's wedding in Portsmouth and do some sightseeing in Newport. The location of this home was perfect for both and our dog loved the short walk to the beach. The house was fully stocked, very comfortable, and so charming. Cynthia was a pleasure and a great host. Such a perfect house for a weekend getaway! Steps from the beach, so easy to access downtown Newport and the beaches. Cynthia was great and so easy to connect with. This house has everything you need! The backyard was a perfect hangout area. Would love to return!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!!

The house was exactly as described and everything was clean upon our arrival. Cynthia was wonderful -- she was extremely responsive & quickly had the cable/Wi-Fi problem fixed as soon as we notified her of the issue. It's an easy walk to beaches (although we drove) & we appreciated the boogie boards, chairs & umbrellas available to use. Our kids enjoyed the games, too. The house really has everything you need.
