ID is required at check-in. ** Effective October 1st, 2022, and until further notice, the Snowline community recreational amenities (including the swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, etc.) are no longer available for Guest use. Please do not attempt to use them, as doing so will be subject to community fines for which our Guests are responsible.Snowline Cabin #13 - Welcome to The Big Rock Lodge, An Architectural Gem! Pet Friendly with Wi-Fi! This custom octagonal 3-story, 2+ bedroom, 2-bath family vacation home perched on top of a knoll is an architectural gem with lots of light and all of the bells and whistles! The ground floor entryway features ceramic tile floors with a freestanding gas fireplace and an ad-hoc game room, complete with a ping pong table and plenty of space to store your gear—winter and summer. Ascending the stairwell brings you to the main floor, featuring the master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a large full-length closet. Step into the generous living room/dining room area with hardwood floors, a beautiful gas fireplace to cozy up to, a large screen monitor with wifi, a hide-a-bed, and three sides of windows that bring in lots of natural sunlight—perfect for family entertaining. The unique, fully equipped galley-style kitchen features ceramic tile floors and countertops, a separate stove top and oven, as well as a built-in microwave oven. Also included in the kitchen is a laundry cubby with a full-size washer and dryer. Finally, the main floor also includes one large full bath. Step up to the third floor, and you'll discover a carpeted bonus room/loft with a full-sized futon and a DVD/VHS/monitor—perfect for the kids—a large bath, and a unique pine-lined bedroom with 1-queen-sized bed. Just outside the main floor living room is a partial wraparound deck for winding down the day while gazing at the stars, and just out back is a private 6-person outdoor hot tub—perfect for relaxing after a day of some of the best skiing and hiking anywhere! This beautiful and pet-friendly (2-PET MAXIMUM, No Exceptions) monitored family vacation property will sleep 4 to 8-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). Hot Tub / Wi-Fi / Pets Ok / NO Smoking Mountain Adventures/Romantic Getaway Snowline is located at the edge of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, close to the Mt. Baker Ski Area and spectacular old-growth forests, an area rich in history and outdoor opportunities. The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, nature viewing, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round! OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES: **Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, the service is currently subject to failure, as the service provider is in the process of dialing everything in. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly. **This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring residences and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee's actions. They should be well advised to provide directions and discuss house rules in advance with other family members who may be arriving separately. The king bed in the master was very comfortable and the queen bed as well. We were expecting the futon to be a queen size and it was only a double, not adequate for another couple to sleep on. We also tried the pull-out couch and that "mattress" was terrible, not usable by any person. So, our son and daughter-in-law slept on the couches in the living room. The oven desperately needs to be replaced and is unsafe as it is - the knobs are broken and so the only way to turn it off is to flip off the breaker. We found dishes in the cupboard that weren't fully clean - likely the dishwasher didn't remove all the food from dishes not pre-washed and the cleaners just put them away without checking. The hot tub was great, very nice and we enjoyed it a couple times. We were challenged to find the key to unlock it as there were no instructions provided on where it was. There were also no extra towels provided for the hot tub, not enough towels for the 7 adults I had made the reservation for, and no bed linens for the pull-out couch. I will not stay here again, despite it's great location close to Mt Baker.

We would definitely come back. The only reason we gave a 4 to accurate of on line listing is it appears in the photos that the propane airtight is on the main floor but it’s stuck in a wired place in the basement. It would be nice to have a door on the other room upstairs. BUT really, this place has everything you need for fun and comfort.

This house was really perfect for our group. The hot tub was so nice, the ping pong table was an awesome addition, and the living space/sleeping areas were great. The master bed was very comfortable, however the pullout is really rustic and needs a new mattress for sure. Bring your own towels for the hot tub, as those were in limited supply, and only towels for the shower. The kitchen cooking supplies were limited, so make sure to bring your own cooking oils, tin foils, salt and peppers, baggies, even knives. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the location was super close to the hill and the local pub. Check in was easy.
