Nestled in Manasota Key, this charming condo for $159 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Our condo is located at Angler’s Resort which is located on the south end of Manasota Key in Englewood, FL. All units are ground level (no steps) and surround the private courtyard with a large heated swimming pool and shuffle board, and the boat basin with docks and a fish cleaning station. The docks are available to anyone staying at the resort on a first come first serve basis and it’s only a 5 min boat ride to Stump Pass and the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful Englewood Beach is only a few steps away and almost a mile away from the public beach giving you a much less crowded and quiet beach area to pick shells, fish or just relax. Stump Pass State Park is only a 5 min walk away and offers plenty of hiking trails through the completely untouched southern end of Manasota Key. There are also several restaurants and bars a short walk away including The White Elephant Tiki Bar and Flounders that have food and live entertainment every weekend and the Lock and Key known for their great cuisine among others. Our condo is a 1 bedroom studio apartment that is very clean and has almost all newer furniture along with almost all new small appliances and a new flat screen TV. It has a full kitchen, a/c, cable tv, wireless internet, queen bed, a full bed sofa sleeper and a ¾ bath (shower, no bathtub). All linens and bedding are included. You have your own parking space right in front of your door and on the other side in the courtyard you have your own small patio area with patio furniture and a charcoal grill. There are also coin operated washer and dryers available just a short walk away across the courtyard. No smoking in unit.

Property is as listed and was clean. The only problem we in counter was the wi-Fi was very slow. Would rent again if wi-fi problems are corrected

Property is at an ideal location. Easy access to the beach. Everything we needed was there. Patio table is in need of replacing, WD40 in the door lock steer side is needed. The pool was fantastic. We will visit again!!

For a quick stay with a nearby beach to look for shark teeth with my teenage daughter, this was great. Restaurant & circle K very nearby. Little traffic… nice & quiet.

Nice little duplex, walking distance to beautiful beach. Host was always very responsive if we had any questions. Unit and property was very clean. I highly recommend going to Stump Pass directly down the road (go left, get there early at 8am because they fill up quick--best beach for shark teeth). We loved this place because it is somewhat secluded, peaceful, and close to all the beaches we love. We can't wait to stay here again!

It was a great room. The bed was the most comfortable bed we ever slept in. The shower was a little small, but it had great water pressure. The overall stay was awesome. The owner was very good to us.

The check in process was smooth and we felt welcomed when we walked in the door. The condo is cozy, but clean and well stocked. It’s just a few steps to the beach where we found many awesome sea shells and shark teeth. The area is quiet and safe feeling. The owner was easy to get ahold of and helpful with any questions. The pool was nice and clean. We would stay here again!

Great little place right on the canal/water. Parked our boat there for the weekend, we love Englewood area. Only complaint was there were several bugs noticed in the room. We did notify the owner and he will take care of it.

Starting with the positives, the condo was nicely decorated and although small worked very well for 2 people. The only negative about the interior was the first night we cooked dinner my daughter found 4 cockroaches in the pan she took out. The walk to the beach was perfect and very close. Yes there are private properties so dont expect to walk and immediately drop a chair and umbrella at the access point. There are lots of shark teeth and lots of trash shells, but we found no whelks, tulips or sharks eyes the 8 days we were there. Since the condo was small we expected to spend a lot of relaxing time on the patio. Heres where this review tanks. The patio table is so rusty. My daughter cut her finger on it and I was worried we would have to find a stat care. If nothing else there should have been some table covers. So it was difficult eating outside. Second, the condo is very close to the trash cans. Eating outside also entailed killing a lot of flies. Beware, I was cooking hamburgers in the condo and opened the door a minute to help remove the smoke and we then had to deal with 15 flies in the condo. We also had large family groups that all knew each other staying in the other units. Needless to say there was a dog running and pooping off leash or barking crazy if tethered outside. Kids running wild on scooters and toys while also being unsupervised in the pool with swimming after dark. As a positive we did alert the condo owner, and he responded quickly.

After abandoning any hope of our usual spring break at Fort Myers Beach (post-Ian), we found Manasota Key to be a great alternative…peaceful, relaxing with some great eateries, bars! We may opt for Anglers Resort in 2024! The pool was great and the places to eat were walkable/an easy bike ride (we rented bikes from “Bikes & Boards in Englewood)! Our condo was quaint but could’ve used a good sweeping (sandy) and negotiating the network of the “private breaches” was a bit of a hassle but “80 & sunny” all week more than made up!

My wife and I had a fantastic time at Anglers. It was the perfect amount of space for the 2 of us. The beach was so close most of them time we didn’t bother with shoes.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Property was just as described. I liked that the bedding seemed new, the couch was very comfortable and clean. Shower was great. The pool was lovely and clean. I wasn't sure about the beach area, all the signs said private property and I wasn't sure if we were able to "sit" their. We didn't use the beach so that didn't really effect us but that was the only area in which I wasn't sure about.

My daughter, grandson, and I, had a delightful and peaceful mini vacation. We found the unit exactly as shown and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beach was just a short walk and the pool was so refreshing. The resort is kept well manicured and inviting. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Although not located right on the beach it is just a short distance to the beach access which is private . It's a small efficiency with everything that you would need. We didn't stay there much it was basically a place to sleep. Definitely would stay again.

My husband and I stayed for our 1 year anniversary. Everything was wonderful and the unit was stocked with everything we might need. This was the perfect location to everything- beach access, restaurants, shops, and wildlife. We walked almost everywhere. We would definitely recommend staying here and very much enjoyed our couples retreat.

The whole leasing experience was easy, quick And effortless. the condo was clean, really cute and they really thought about absolutely everything you could possibly want or need included pool was clean and the perfect temperate. The grounds surrounding back deck were well maintained and the crew friendly and helpful. Beach access perfect for shell finding and sun rises and sets. Safe area to walk around. Was awesome having the pool right outside the door, and the beach a short walk across the street. Residents of property were friendly and welcoming. Place was super clean. My only suggestion would’ve been to have bikes or kayaks to use for the location!

I feel the description was deceptive! It claims steps to the beach-yeah right! We are disabled and thought this would be perfect. We left the front of the condo and walked at least a 1/4 mile then told We could only walk on that part of the beach no sitting, etc so back We walked! It claims you can walk all these places, just be aware you can't. We also were bothered by the owner's relative- even knocking on our door! The bathroom needs to have a rail or something the toilet is very low to the floor. Had the description been accurate about everything, I would've chose something else!! It was my first time to Florida & the beach & was let down. For a young couple, it would be great!
