The condo features tile floors, fully remodeled kitchen, a brand new split-system AC, recently remodeled full bathroom with step-in shower, recently replaced queen Murphy fold-up bed, plenty of seating in the living area and bar, flat screen TV with Free Wi-Fi, and a gorgeous newly landscaped lanai with sitting and dining area and working fountain. This complex boasts an ocean-front pool with a cabana that has seating, two public bathrooms, and a lava rock grill. Perfect to hang out, watch gorgeous sunsets, and have a great meal. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Myrna's condo. It was Just Right for the two of us. Well stocked with everthing we needed and more! Beautiful location with a sunset view that was awesome. We were able to easily make day trips to every part of the island with easy access to all the major highways. It seemed like everything was brand new, range, microwave, AC, bathroom and more. Would totally recommend to family and friends. We were so lucky to come across this wonderful condo. The beach towels, umbrella, 1 pair of small fins, and coolers came in so handy. Thank you for a great stay, would come back again!

Beautiful and perfect location. Having a full kitchen was wonderful. 1 mile from all the bars and restaurants for a short walk or bike ride. Bike rental right outside the condo entrance. Walmart, costco, and target were also a short drive away. AMAZING VALUE.

Property just as described! Love the location with an included parking stall. The space has everything you need for your stay and cozy lanai with friendly geckos to keep you company. Myrna is incredibly responsive to any questions and check in was a breeze. Walking distance to the heart of Kona. Would love to stay here again!

We are frequent visitors to the Big Island. This rental was a very clean and organized ground floor unit with murphy bed. Loved the lanai but wife says timer is broken on the fountain. Single towel rack in bath is for decorative towel, so there is a need for towel hooks on the back of the bathroom door or towel rack on either side of the mirror, or at least a towel basket with rolled up towels on the toilet tank lid. AC was great, lots of lighting, but a couple of CFLs could be updated to LED. Kitchen was everything we needed. Pool was great, with great sunset views. No USB ports, but we came prepared. Minor issue, but I would recommend the style of hotel lamps with USB/AC ports in the base. Overall, we loved this place and would forward to coming back.

I am disappointed to leave this review. I've stayed at Kona Shores several times, 3 of them at Myrna's condo. And while every rental (including Myrna's) has it's own quirks and imperfections, I do not stress about these whiles on vacation and typically enjoy the value and location of the unit. I pride myself in being respectful and courteous of other's home. Unfortunately, even after following all rules and departure procedures for the 3rd visit, Myrna text's me pictures claiming I left "blood" on linens. These pics showed a few very small, soiled spots on dirty linen. There was no evidence of blood (unless your blood is the color of marinara sauce or red wine). I did point out to her that at least one spot was preexisting my stay but I hadn't found it necessary to inform her and just placed in the basket. She immediately became very defensive and accused me of knowing but not telling her where the soiled spots came from and that she is certain they are blood. Isn't that why you are supposed to be washing things in bleach and hot water between visits anyways? She left the text accusing me of something I did not do and was unable to accept any responsibility for her short comings as well. This was very disappointing as I have stayed here several times in the past and do enjoy the condo, along with the complex and location. I am sorry that this interaction has now marred this trip and further rental interactions.

It didn't look too inviting on walking to the condo or when we opened the door. It was dark inside but when we opened the blinds it came alive and was fresh. The bed was very comfortable. We felt that there were a few things missing namely some USB charging points (so necessary in this day and age) as well as there being no ironing board. We have been travelling for many weeks and it has been necessary to wash and iron frequently. When downloading the app to wash our clothes our bank account was immediately hacked. Thankfully our bank was awake to stop payments and lock our cards. Lack of space to store our clothing was also an issue. We couldn't operate the oven to toast anything but that was probably our fault. I think that we tried every single setting.

Myrna’s property was perfect for our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better condo. It was clean, fully stocked, and close enough for us to walk downtown and There is a bike rental right across the street which was super convenient. We’d recommend Myrna’s property to anyone coming to the big island and we’d definitely stay here again.

Cute little condo with a lot of good stuff! Very comfortable for 2 people, we loved having breakfast in the little patio area. The location is good, very close to downtown Kona, restaurants and beaches. I loved the fact that has boogie boards, umbrellas and beach chairs to enjoy our time at the beach. The condo also has a water filter that helped us save money.

Overall the property is nice. The location is great and easy to walk to many restaurants. It is near a small beach and right next to the ocean. I liked the pool area. Myrna was pretty good at communication. She allowed me to stay past check out so I had a place for my luggage after I had a significant flight schedule change which was incredibly nice of her.
