Larger home excellent for large groups and families with children. Downstairs has one bedroom, reading/sleeping nook, full size pull-out sofa. Downstairs has one full bath and complete laundry facilities. Upstairs has two bedrooms and two baths. Upstairs family room has 55 inch flat screen, downstairs family room has 40 inch flat screen and master bedroom has 30 inch TV. Netflix and wireless internet. Great home for family with kids and great location for walking to town. Short drive to hot springs and hosts were responsive. Kitchen was well stocked with spices! Thanks for a nice stay.

This is an amazing home, which became an oasis after being in the mountains for the day. Great location to enter the the park and walkable to town. Natalie was the best providing insider information. House was clean, comfortable and well stocked! .

Home was very spacious with plenty of room for our six member family to be in. We were able to be together or have our separate space. Very close and convenient to Yellowstone Park which was a plus as we spent three days there. We had a comfortable home to stay in and a wonderful time in the park. Thanks!!

The property was absolutely beautiful. The house was right in the center of all the most beautiful views. It was perfect size in accommodating 7 people. The only issue I had, is there was only 6 towels for 7 people. The person getting the house ready should be aware of how many people will be staying and make accommodations for 7. I would absolutely stay again

We really enjoyed this property from the beautiful views to the perfect in-town location. The house is within walking distance to the grocery store, yummy restaurants and the north entrance of yellowstone. The park is what brought us here and staying further away would have been difficult. Easy communication with owners and they let us check in a bit early which was nice.

Buffalo Trace Retreat is a gem in the little town of Gardiner. Location: Everything is within walking distance. Super convenient to all of our tours - rafting, horseback riding, and ziplining. House: The house is very well appointed with everything you will need. They even have a little coffee bar setup! We loved having the grill to cook out and watch the elk stroll by in the evenings. Waking up to the sprawling hills of YNP does not get old. Highly recommend!

We SO enjoyed our stay at Buffalo Trace. It was such a great location to enjoy YNP. We found the accommodations to be very comfortable and relaxing. The town of Gardiner was very quaint. Kevin and Natalie were very helpful when we had a mishap with door combination. 😳 oops. Would LOVE to come back someday 😀 Only hiccup….internet was subpar. But who comes here for the internet?

We (party of 8) stayed 3 nights at Buffalo Trace Retreat. Located in Gardiner it was few minutes from the Yellowstone North entrance and had great views of the surrounding hills. The house was absolutely clean when we arrived and was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms had enough space for all of us. Kevin and Natalie were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to accommodate our request for a rice cooker. We appreciate the gesture and will consider staying again when we visit Yellowstone.

We had the pleasure of staying at Buffalo Trace in mid June 2023. My husband and I planned this trip as a high school graduation present for our 18 year old son and his friend. The home was comfortable, with many amenities. Wonderful views, and walking distance to everything in town. We enjoyed the convenience of cooking some meals and going out for others. Kevin and Natalie were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Gardiner is a small town, so restaurant choices are limited. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to focus on the northern part of Yellowstone park and Lamar Valley. We made wonderful family memories. Thanks for a great stay!

WONDERFUL & PERFECT HOME & STAY!!!

There's not enough words or space to describe how wonderful this home is! Lots of space for 10 of us, immaculately clean, close proximity to do everything one wants to do in the park & Gardiner is a great town! I will return and recommend if you plan to visit Yellowstone, consider staying here! Natalie & Kevin are awesome people and help in every way possible, to make your stay comfortable! This VRBO is an absolute gem! We loved it!

House is fantastic and there is plenty of room to spread out! Kitchen is well stocked. The view is spectacular and the walk into town is very easy and short. Saw lots of wildlife just hanging around the house! Owners reply quickly if you have any questions.

The house was just a few minutes from the Yellowstone entrance, very convenient. The house has a nice view of the mountains. The only complain was that there weren't enough towels for 6 people and I did put down 6 people when I booked the place. Luckily we had brought extra with us.

We were in Gardiner for our sons wedding and spent 10 days in this beautiful, cozy, spacious home. The hosts were easy to contact with any questions. All amenities ( and then some!) were great to have on hand. The kitchen is fully stocked - I made lasagne and meatballs for the rehearsal dinner for 30 people in this kitchen! There is an outdoor grill too which was great for having dinner in one night. We walked into town for dinner a few times- the location is PERFECT! The views from the deck were unbelievable. I enjoyed my morning coffee there and often ended the evening catching a great sunset! We spent a few days in Yellowstone and again, the location is ideal - you can literally walk to the arch. The house is updated with modern amenities, it is very spacious and comfortable. We were a family of 7 adults and were very comfortable. Next time we visit this area I will absolutely stay here again!
