Extremely convenient access to Wells Beach is what this vacation spot has to offer. The home is directly across the street from beautiful Wells beach (Two houses down from Public way #2 leading right to the beach). This relaxing vacation spot is fully furnished and features two private bedrooms with a queen sized bed and two twin beds. A large living area features a queen sized sleep sofa to sleep a total of six in the unit. Large wraparound windows abound in the front living area allowing cool ocean breezes to pass through and the beautiful beach sun to add lots of light. The living area features a large flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player (for vacation family movies). The house is also equipped with wifi for the kids or business (if you just can't get completely away). A large kitchen area with eat in nook for family meals is very convenient, The kitchen comes fully equipped with Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Toaster and all the eating and cooking utensils you could ever need. The bathroom was completely renovated and features tile floor and a tiled shower with a tub (great for washing up the little ones.) The outside of the unit has as many amenities as the inside. A large fenced in yard (Rare so close to the beach) provides the kids a place to run/play off that vacation energy and the adults a nice place to sit and relax. A grill is available for summer cookouts as well. A bonus outside shower is also available to wash off the beach sand. There is convenient, no hassle off street parking for two cars. The home is in walking distance of ice cream/lunch/breakfast at Forbes restaurant, shops and the arcade (for the kids). This unit is one of multiple units within the home. The opportunity exists for large/multiple families wishing to vacation together to rent side by side units or upper and lower units. A well maintained, cute beach house apartment across the street from the beach. It’s not a big unit but other than the narrow hallway, did not feel cramped even with 4 adults. I would not hesitate to stay again in the future. The host David was responsive to questions.

Great vaca. Everything you needed. Host was responsive. My only complaint would be the mattress and couches. But doable. I’d definitely definitely stay again. How can you beat a street width to the beach.

Wells Vacation
My family had a wonderful stay at David’s property for the 4th of July holiday. Everything was as expected and we were all very pleased with our accommodations. Looking forward to staying at another property of David’s in the future!

We had great time at this property. Right across a small street from the beach. Meet some great people staying the unit next to us. It did have everything you need. I will say, the mattresses could use some attention. Lol.

Perfect Beach Spot
This rental is the best of Wells: across the street from the ocean, easy walk to the arcade and shops, perfect amount of space for our family of four, two parking spaces, friendly neighbors, unfussy furniture & housewares (comfortable, not full of breakables). Owner is super accommodating and prompt, too. Recommend!

This location was perfect and we would love to re-book the entire house next summer so more family can join us. Super clean, ideal location on Atlantic Ave and the space was overall great. Very kid friendly, too!

Convenient location
Overall great location can't beat being across the street from beach entrance. Grill area is nice. Kitchen has a hodgepodge of stuff but was able to make it work. Overall very happy with our last minute trip. There are multiple units and definitely could be good for multiple family's to vacation together.

I was nervous that the unit would be noisy with 4 other units on the property but it was not at all! It has everything you need! It was super clean. Kitchen fully stocked to cook and there is a laundry room on premises to wash clothing. Also an outdoor shower and BBQ. All we brought was towels and sheets which we would have done anyway. Owner David, was reachable if needed but honestly, we did not need him as everything was all set up and waiting for us. I look forward to staying there again next summer!

Perfect getaway apt!
A last minute booking that was nicer than we expected. The pictures seemed dark, but there was plenty of natural light and cross breezes. Comfortable, clean, and accommodating, we found everything we could need in the kitchen and the smart TV was easy to connect to subscriptions. My kids immediately felt at home. The proximity to the beach was excellent considering it's not beachfront. Location was a quick walk to stores/restaurants. Great communications with the owner. We would happily return to this apt. for future vacations.

Proximity is key
The property was diagonally across the street from the beach access which was great. Nice to have access to a grill and kitchen essentials. Not necessarily luxurious, but all you need for a weekend at the beach. Make sure to pack your own bath towels and bedding.

Wonderful Vacation
Great location! Nearly on the beach and fishing nearby. Wonderful roomy kitchen area with all the appliances you could possible need. We were 4 adults and had plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves. The outside yard was superb with plenty of seating with umbrellas and TWO grills to share with the other rental guests. Owners Dave and Becky were amazing! We will definitely return.

Wonderful Stay
I opened the door to my rental and saw that is was a very clean and cozy rental. Wonderful sunny front room with plenty of windows to open for a ocean breezes. The owners were friendly and made sure I was happy . They were close by if I needed anything. I will definitely rent again.

A Gem of a Find on Wells Beach!
If you are looking for a place that is centrally located to all of the Southern Maine towns AND that has amazingly easy access to Wells Beach, I highly recommend staying at David's cottage. This unit (#3) is exactly what you see in the photos. It's very clean, and has all of the amenities you will need for a nice stay. Communication with David is excellent as well. We look forward to renting with David again - 5 stars!

Great cozy stay
This was a great place to stay, close to the beach, right on the main strip. Plenty of space in the home! It was just me and my fiancé, but we loved it. Especially the living room with all of the windows for fresh air and open feel! Only thing that was not so great is there was no toilet paper or paper towels when we arrived, but hannaford is close enough down the road to grab necessities for a short getaway.
