About this house rental
Our charming lakefront home sits on nearly an acre of natural splendor with 60 feet of beautiful, private, sandy beach complete with a private dock, wood-burning stove, and all the cozy comforts of a luxurious mountain/lake retreat! This home is the perfect getaway for every occasion in every season! The house sits further up the hill allowing easy year-round access, incredible views, privacy, and seclusion not found in houses lined up along the shoreline. It is the perfect Lake Escape for a work or romantic retreat, girl’s weekend, fishing trip, family reunion, holiday gathering, or simply time to relax and breathe! With our new high-speed Starlink internet, you can even get some work done if you must. The home comfortably sleeps 8. With a King size bed in the 1st bedroom, a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, 2 twin hide-a-bed chairs, and one queen hide-a-bed couch in the loft, there are plenty of sleeping options! The main floor of the house has a welcoming open concept floor plan with incredible views from every angle. The loft provides fun and games for all ages and additional space for kids or adults to spread out, play or relax. The Lake Escape is well-appointed and artfully furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Enjoy 60 feet of private beach, dock, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, beach toys, fire pit, dishwasher, washer, dryer, ample supply of linens and towels, a fully stocked kitchen, 4 TVs (family room, loft, both bedrooms), Blu-ray DVD player, Wii gaming system, satellite TV, games, movies, children’s toys and more! The property is located on Hayden Lake, 16 miles North of Coeur d’Alene and just 10 miles from Hayden Lake city center, where countless restaurants and activities await. The Lake Escape is less than 30 minutes from local attractions such as Silverwood theme park, Triple Play family fun, and the beautiful Coeur d’Alene Resort. Less than an hour and a half in any direction will take you to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Mt Spokane Ski Park, Silver Mountain Resort, and numerous golf courses. But of course, you never need to leave home to enjoy breathtaking views, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, bonfires, soaking up the sun, wiggling your toes in the sand, and more! The lake provides excellent fishing for kokanee, bass, pike, crappie, and trout. Enjoy the serenity of our home in the off-season on the lake and the reduced prices that go along with it! The cabin was very cozy with tons of things for the kids to do, we loved the use of the paddle boards and kayaks and had fun fishing and swimming, the stairs are no joke so be sure to bring good shoes! We loved our stay and would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic lake house! We were two families of 4 that found this home to be perfectly suited for our needs. The kids enjoyed the games and toys in the loft area, which also made a great kids room for them to have a sleepover in. The house was decorated well and was clean upon arrival. The dock at the lake was incredible, and they even have a private little beach which the kids loved! The provided paddle boards were an extra special touch. We all had a wonderful time making memories.

Our family had a great time here. There was plenty for everyone to do. The Lakehouse was fantastic. The views were beautiful. Set up on the shore was amazing. And the kids loved all of the water activities.

Great stay. Deanna was excellent in her communication with us, which was really appreciated. Cabin is in great condition as described. Loft has games for kids when you aren’t down at the water. We boated and spent time with family. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin was wonderful and stocked with all kitchen appliances we needed and fun games for kids. They even had a s’more station set up which was a nice touch. The beach and dock were perfect for our family and so beautiful. Our kids spent hours and hours fishing and playing all week in the water.
Unfortunately there was a fire only 4 miles from us on the mountain directly behind us. We were put on level 1 fire watch (be prepared to leave) but the smoke was so bad we ended up leaving a day early. We were so sad to leave early, but otherwise enjoyed this lovely cabin on the lake.

This house was truly amazing. The photos don’t do it Justice. It has all you need and more. We feel so blessed to have been able to come and enjoy this property! Our kids played for hours at the lake. The kayaks and paddle boards and canoe were so much fun. All the kids caught fish and we made the best memories as a family. Kitchen has all you need and more, and the owners were quick to respond and so kind. We arrived to s’mores fixings on the counter! Don’t hesitate to book this property! You won’t regret it. We can’t wait to go back!

This was a wonderful place to stay on Hayden lake! The scenery is beautiful and it is a perfect place for a family getaway. We loved kayaking and playing on the lake. A bald eagle flew right in front of us as we were sitting on the deck. The house is clean and well furnished. We would definitely return again.

We had an incredible time here during Labor Day weekend! Beautiful property with direct beach, dock and water access. Kayaks, canoe, paddle boards, life jackets and wood for the fireplace and fire pits were all provided.

This was our families 3rd year in a row staying at Deanna's beautiful cabin house! Everything is there for you! My only suggestion is bring tennis shoes for your hike up and down the hill but they have added full steps down the hill now and it was very easy! Highly recommended!

Everything was clean and just as advertised. The cabin was fully stocked with anything you would need for cooking. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and it was the perfect size. One bathroom was a little tricky but we made it work. Our only complaint was we knew there were stairs but didn’t realize how many there actually were. That being said once you got down to the beach it was beautiful and newly landscaped with everything you would need. But wow the stairs!!!! If you have younger children it might be hard for them to navigate. Ours ranged from 7-10 and did just fine on there own. Overall I would highly recommend this cabin and Deanna was very nice and helpful.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, lovely home on Hayden Lake. Deanna’s communication was excellent. They had absolutely everything you need from paddle boards and kayaks for the lake to the components for s’mores for your evening fire. It is always so nice to stay in home as immaculate as this one. It makes the experience so much better. It was a great place for my family to unplug for a couple days and just enjoy each other and nature. We would highly recommend it to anyone!

We absolutely loved staying at this house on Hayden Lake! The house had everything that we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our family time. The lake access is awesome and we had so much fun on all the paddle boards, canoe and kayaks. I highly recommend this property and this location! Perfect family getaway!

And they’ve made the backyard and area down by the dock really pretty. Not dumpy like some of the other docks you see along the lake. We would definitely stay again!!

Birthday Weekend
The place was clean and well furnished. While we were there early in the boating season, they've done a really good job of equipping the place for fun on the water in the warm summer months. Deanna was excellent to work with - very responsive, and she even reached out to some friends in the local community to help us find a fishing guide during our stay. No regrets!

The adults enjoyed relaxing on the chairs while the kiddos played with so many beach toys. We spent a day canoeing on the lake and saw golden eagles, bald eagles, and an otter! We spent long nights laughing hysterically while playing games in the upstairs game room, and took naps on the deck overlooking the lake and an osprey who lived in a nearby tree. The house was stocked with so many things like a coffee machine, waffle maker, and incredible s’more welcome kit with everything you need for s'mores and hot chocolate. This place was absolutely magical and more than we could have asked for, it was perfect.

We love this place so much, we actually decided to extend our stay during our last visit. If you are wanting to unwind, spend quality time with family, and curl up on a comfy couch with a beautiful view and roaring fireplace- this is the place for you.

Relaxing alpine lake getaway
Nice escape to be surrounded by beautiful forests and a lake. The kitchen was well-set up to cook meals. We were able to relax and go kayaking and canoeing on the lake. Its also close to Ceour d'Alene which was fun to go downtown and explore.

Beautiful lakeside property!
The house is a beautiful lake house that offers amazing views, privacy, and many opportunities to view wildlife, enjoy the sounds of the lake, and walk down to the lake. There is a very spacious deck, with plenty of outdoor furniture, a gazebo, and cafe lighting. Our favorite thing to do was have coffee in the mornings along the private beach area and enjoy the views of the lake (we spotted a few bald eagles while there). You have plenty of privacy and a covered outdoor seating area below the deck if it rains. We truly enjoyed our time at this wonderful home.

She has thoughtfully addressed every detail of the house. It is really that amazing. Communication with Deanna was excellent. There was a situation that came up regarding the lake water level that was completely out of her control. She contacted me weeks before our vacation date and explained what the situation was. She was completely honest and forthright about what was happening. Even to go as far as offering a solution that was way above and beyond what any VRBO owner would be required to do. We stayed for 5 days going to Silverwood for 2 of those days. Silverwood was an easy 30min drive. The lake house is far enough removed from town that you enjoy the solitude and privacy that you would expect from a Lakehouse retreat. And also close enough to town (20 min drive) to do all your grocery shopping and other needs. My family really enjoyed our stay. Plan to go again!!!
