Any stays of 3 nights or more the cleaning fee will be waived. ......We have installed a Standby Generac Generator this Summer. This generator will power up the entire property. We will have electricity and heat if the area should lose power. ....... Birch Hollow is your mountain retreat with all of the creature comforts of home. A two-story, two bedroom, one bath, located in the heart of the White Mountains, in the quaint town of Jackson, New Hampshire. Birch Hollow is located in historic Jackson, NH, walking distance to the Jackson Village, Jackson Falls and Ellis River. Birch Hollow is in the heart of activities that will make everyone happy! Canoe down the Saco River during New England's warm summer days or take a ride on the Conway Scenic Railway. Golfers will enjoy the links at Wentworth Golf Club and Eagle Moutain House Golf Club in Jackson. Take the kids to spend the day at Story Land, an amusement park where fairy tales come alive or splash around at Kahuna Laguna, North Conway's indoor waterpark. Come autumn, Birch Hollow is located in the heart of fall foliage. Stroll around Jackson to see its famous "pumpkin people" displays or drive the scenic Kancamagus Highway. Winter in the White Mountains is a skier's delight. Nordic skiers will love having 150km of trails at JacksonXC, touted "the finest cross country ski trails in the Eastern United States", less than a half mile from their front door. Birch Hollow is also conveniently located to a number of ski resorts for those looking to ski or snowboard. Nearby Nestlenook offers ice skating and sleigh rides for the family in a picturesque New England setting. Adventure seekers have access to Tuckerman Ravine on Mount Washington. Easy access to the Mt. Washington Auto Road in the summer. No matter what the season, guests at Birch Hollow can spend the day shopping at Settler's Green or enjoy a relaxing massage at nearby Cutoff Salon and Day Spa. Such a warm, cozy and welcoming place to stay in a perfect location. Right in the middle of quaint downtown Jackson, we loved the local restaurants and pubs, took a sleigh ride at Nestlenook Farm, and explored the cute little towns around. We did not ski, but this place would be perfect to stay for a ski trip, close to multiple skiing mountains. Felt very homey, comfortable and safe as well! Thank you Bob and Joyce!

Love that the home was set back from the busy road and once inside super cozy. Would have liked a more comfortable couch, it was a nice couch just not very comfortable but otherwise it was a great place for a much needed getaway

We had a lovely stay in Jackson. A quick drive to hiking trails and walking distance to restaurants in Jackson. The property was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We look forward to returning in the future.

We were delighted with our stay in this cosy and charming cottage. Everything we needed was there and we were very comfortable. Bob was really helpful with recommendations on where to eat and we had a great meal in the pub across the street. Location is brilliant and we have a great stay. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in this snug & cosy cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay and was perfectly located for exploring the White Mountains.

The cottage was very nice and had everything needed. Nice yard with outdoor furniture for relaxing. Outdoor eating with grill and shaded table. We were given a warm welcome and all needs were met. Great place to stay!!

The cozy cabin was across the road from few restaurants and down the “hill” from several trailheads, the Pinkham Notch Visitor Center,and the Mount Washington Auto Road. The cabin had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.

The cabin was perfect for our 3-day stopover to explore the White Mountains. It was well stocked, comfy, and just felt like home away from home. The hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed.

My family stayed here for two nights during our summer vacation. In just this short time in town, we got to see a lot that the Jackson area has to offer. We were so glad to have the chance to stay at Bob and Joyce's cottage. While it may be more of a winter time destination for skiing, we found the cottage to be perfect for our small family of four. Basically everything we needed was included, and it was very conveniently located to local attractions. If we are ever passing through the area and need a place to stay, we would definitely check for availability at this cottage!

This was a wonderful landing spot for us to stay while we did some hiking and swimming in the area. The cabin is cozy and clean. Bob and Joyce have thought of everything and are lovely hosts; even left a basket of goodies and champagne for our anniversary! The spot is perfectly located to walk around town and a quick drive to all the area has to offer. We had a great time and are already planning our next stay.

The host of the home we’re extremely helpful and friendly, giving us travel ideas. They even invited us to the town duck race festival, which was a blast. The home was extremely comfortable clean nice well decorated, and we felt very welcome and very at home. We had an amazing stay and loved the quaint town.

Very cozy place right in the heart of a lot of attractions and sightseeing. Hosts were great and communication was very clear and prompt. They left us a little welcome basket with cookies, chocolates and snacks. Would definitely stay again

Perfect 3 night getaway during delightful snowstorm, awesome conditions for snow shoe trails close by and great xc ski options. Very clean, comfy, fun décor and nice book selection. Owners next door receptive to questions, plowed walkway and made sure we had all we needed for delightful stay. Highly recommend and would definitely like a return visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Birch Hollow. The cabin is very comfortable and well appointed with all we needed. Bob was responsive to our questions and helpful with our few requests. It was perfect for a couple. We skied at Jackson which couldn’t have been easier as the property is within walking distance.

Although the cottage is small, it is comfortable, and the hosts have provided everything needed for cooking, sleeping, and bathing. (We stayed 1 week; if it had been longer, we’d have missed the absence of a washer and dryer. The hosts informed us that nearby laundromats were available.) We really appreciated the nice touches such as a basket of salty and sweet goodies, holiday decorations, and books. Bob and Joyce were thoughtful and responsive. And we loved that you could walk into picturesque Jackson Village in 10-15 minutes.

We had a great stay! We wanted a cabin with a cozy Christmas feel. The host was helpful and nice. We were able to hang out and have a good time. The kitchen was great with everything we needed to be able to prepare the food we brought. Great place to stay!

The right size for the two of us for a week. We slept in one small bedroom and used the other for our luggage. Bathroom is downstairs. Short term renter grade pots and pans. Nice 4 burner gas stove. Great location for hiking and walking to Jackson.

My husband, myself and my daughter and son in law were here for 4 nights Thanksgiving weekend. Host are fantastic and get to you right away with answers. We did a lot of things in Jackson and North Conway for the celebration of the season. Beds are comfy, and we hung out in the living room a lot. There is a nice gas or propane fireplace, and it warms up the place. It was a great getaway for the holiday, and I will definitely stay here again.
