Description/Amenities Outstanding Ocean Views and the beach access to the Atlantic makes this fantastic semi-Oceanfront home- a perfect vacation choice. The steps to the ocean are right in front of the house; Located just 75 feet from the Beach, your family will love being close to the ocean. The furnishings and décor are so comfortable, you’ll feel right at home. Bright, cheerful and very well equipped, this home has a covered deck facing the ocean, where you can relax and enjoy the cool Atlantic breeze. Ground Level: Parking for 4 cars, Picnic Table and Patio BBQ Grilling area, outside shower and full bath, covered deck, direct access to beach (just across beach road). Main Level: Open living and dining area w/TV entertainment center, ocean views, Full size Kitchen, Pub table with additional counter bar seating, 3 Bedrooms: Room #1 Queen bed with tv.. Room #2 King Bed with ensuite full bath(tub-shower combo). #3 Double bed.. Full Hallway bathroom (tub-shower combo) , full size washer and dryer in laundry area, sun deck (back of house) and covered fron porch with seating and swing bench. ( 2 baths up and one down) Bring your own sheets or you can contact Moneysworth Rentals... order on line and have them dropped off and picked up at the end of the week...email to get delivery address. 4020 n. va dare trail, Kitty Hawk. delivery address Features include: Central AC/Heat, Washer/Dryer, Full Kitchen-Stove,dishwasher, microwave, phone, 3 TVs, VCR, DVD, Stereo w/CD, Ceiling fans and deck furniture. Rents Saturday to Saturday- Check out 10AM check in after 4PM Towels are provided but must be laundered before leaving, sheets NOT provided. Check-in is via key pad and code(digital keyless locks) will be sent by email the week before, from VRBO.

Buddy’s Place was a great beach house for our family vacation this year. It is the perfect size for a family of 5 or 6, and provided us with all of the comforts and convenience of home. Being so close to the beach with the access directly across the road was very nice - not having to carry all of our beach gear very far was awesome! We’ll definitely try to stay here again the next time we visit OBX!

Our family loved staying at Buddy’s Place and cannot wait to go back! When arriving, the home was immaculately clean, and everything is as pictured! The beach access with steps is directly across the street and made it so easy for our family of four to come and go to the beach as needed! We have a 6 year old and 9 month old so we made lots of trips back and forth for naps etc! We spent every sunrise and sunset on the front porch swing! The kitchen had everything you needed and the home was well stocked with all your essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing things) I Highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to the beach!

Buddy’s place is the place to stay in Kitty Hawk. Location is everything, this was our first visit to the OBX and I am glad we found this place!
The house is cozy and comfortable, the beds all have pillow tops. The couches are comfortable to sit and relax on.
The kitchen has all the amenities you need to cook just like at home. Even a crockpot! I had no problem preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Buddy’s place.
Plenty of conveniences offered by Buddy include as pictured the hose, outdoor shower and the bar height chairs on the front porch. The lifeguard chair was my spot every day, awesome find Buddy!
The house is conveniently located next to Lindbergh ave. The only street that doesn’t get a lot of traffic so you can enjoy a cool bike ride, run, walk in the morning. A good 4 mile round trip bike ride in the morning was perfect.
The beach is directly across the street, there were other families nearby that used the same access and finding a good front row spot to the ocean was no problem at all.
We used a ocean Atlantic rental for the bikes, umbrella and chairs. They delivered upon arrival and picked up the day we left. Less we needed to pack for our trek.
The backyard bar area lighted up good for evening cocktails. Plenty of seating for us all.
This was the perfect place for our first trip.

This is a small piece of heaven. Not one of the big houses that have taken over OBX. Amazing location! Literally walk across the street to private beach access!!! Hosts were amazing, and answered every question I had! And trust me.... I had plenty!!! Even called me to make sure everything was okay on check in!!! Felt amazing to deal with a person instead of a big realtor company!!

The ground floor and 2nd floor layouts were spacious and nicely furnished and decorated.
Parking was ample and beach access right across the road was very convenient.
The only negative was having to provide our own bed sheets

Buddy's Place was the perfect spot for our family of 5 to get away and enjoy our first trip to the OBX. We really enjoyed the property as well as the close proximity to the beach. The outdoor shower and bathroom made it nice to clean up after a day in the sand as well as easy access to a bathroom when needed. The front porch elevation is just enough to be able to enjoy coffee on the porch by looking out over the ocean. This area seem to be a good central location to enjoy both the northern and southern parts of OBX. We would definitely rent with Buddy again!

Buddy’s place is a gem! Right on the beach, a private access so we had plenty of room on the beach. Great location, it’s calm traffic wise but you’re still close to everything!
The house it self is so cute, not tiny and crowded at all!! Beautiful outside bathroom with outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach.
The best backyard/bar/grilling area!!

I cannot say enough nice things about this property. It literally felt like home away from home. All the necessities you're used to and you can see the ocean from the front porch. Great outdoor bathroom/shower keeps the sand out of the house and outside where it belongs. Plenty of instructions and reminders posted inside to answer any questions you may have. I brought down my wife, son, and his best friend and it was an amazing week. I hope we can book Buddy's Place again next year!!!!

THE place to stay for a family vacation! Beautiful home & property with all the amenities, in the perfect location (just steps away from the ocean!). Communication with the owners was great (readily available, very helpful, & friendly), which is always a plus. We are Buddy’s Place ‘repeaters’ (have stayed here before) & hope to come back in the future.

The house itself was comfortable and clean--as advertised. The REALLY nice feature for us was the full outside bathroom complete with shower + potty for all our little sandy people. Not having to come inside the house each time we needed to use the bathroom helps keep the house less sandy! There is also ample outside dining space which was great when we came off the beach and had picnic lunch with family that was staying at another property. We enjoyed our week and would consider staying here again in the future. Thanks for the memories!

However it needs a few updates to make it outstanding, all the queen mattresses sag in the middle, making sleeping with your spouse difficult as you roll into them. The top bunk mattress, just not sure what up with that. The appliances work, but a few of them may be older than me.

However it needs a few updates to make it outstanding, all the queen mattresses sag in the middle, making sleeping with your spouse difficult as you roll into them.
