Located 2.1 miles (-5 Min Drive) from Okemo Mountain Main Base and right off the Vermont VAST access trail for snowmobiling, our Ludlow Village home sleeps 8 and is available for year round use. Posted in the kitchen is the Okemo Resort Shuttle schedule, shuttles stop at the junction of Pleasant Street Extension and Rt. 103, eliminating the need to drive and park at the mountain. In addition we are located centrally between Killington/Pico, Magic, Bromley & Stratton, approximately 30min North or South on Rt. 103/100. Ludlow and Okemo Mountain Resort pair up to offer fantastic family events and great places to eat or hang out at the bar such as the famous The Loft, Hostel, Main & Mountain, or The Killarney Pub. Summer and Fall seasons offer nearby award winning golf at Okemo Valley Golf Club or Tater Hill Golf Club in addition to endless hiking, Okemo’s Adventure Zone, visiting Buttermilk Falls and Echo/Rescue Lakes for swimming, kayaking or SUP. Our home has 3 good size bed rooms featuring (1) Rm w/Queen Bed + Master w/Queen bed & the “Bunk Room” w/(4) twin beds. The house interior, with exception of the full kitchen, has been updated and all furnishings are new as of 2018. Cable and high-speed Comcast Wi-Fi are available for renter use (password/Log-On can be found in welcome binder). The house has a small deck extending off the kitchen via sliding glass door into a private backyard inclusive of grill and outdoor seating. Property has ample driveway parking for (+4) cars or (2) trucks with sled trailers. We welcome small groups or families and only ask that neighbors are respected & the property is returned as found for our family and the next renters to enjoy.

We had a great stay at Joe’s place for a ski weekend in Ludlow. The house had plenty of space and everything you need. It was super convenient to Okemo and to all of the great happenings in the Ludlow area. Joe is also a great host. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay here! Great communication from the start and super easy check in. House was clean and well stocked and in a very quiet area. 5-6 to the mountain and pretty much anything else in town. We would absolutely stay here again to ski Okemo in the future.

Owner is awesome and house is perfect location and nicely fit our family of 4 plus additional visitors. It’s a great way to have easy access to the mountain but still be able to have a home away from home!

Enjoyed the location! 7 minutes to Okemo and 10 to Jackson Gore. Super clean house. The owner is very responsive. The game room downstairs is a good addition for the kids.

I stayed here with my family for a few days during winter and it was a great location - very close to downtown Ludlow and maybe 5 minutes to Okemo. The house is clean and accurately depicted. The kitchen is very well stocked! Bed rooms were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to keep nice and warm.The bunk room is perfect for kids. My kids also loveddd the downstairs ping pong table and while we were there affectionately called the house the 'star' house. They wanted to come back to star house soon.

Perfect location and size for a family or group of friends. Very functional and while not total lap of luxury is well appointed and very livable. Loved the pellet stove!

We enjoyed our three night stay for New Year’s Eve! The house was just the right size for two families with four teens. The living room was cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pellet stove was nice at night but it was difficult to start. We appreciated the quick responses to our questions. We would stay here again!

Cozy ski house
We love this place! We’ve stayed here numerous times and keep coming back because we love the house! It’s close to the mountain, easy to get to, fits our family comfortably and is perfect for a ski getaway. Joe is very accommodating and we feel at home in the house while enjoying time on the mountain. Thanks for another great stay!

Great house
The house was absolutely wonderful! Within minutes from leaving Okema we were able to relax on the cozy couch in front of a fire. Joe was wonderful communicating with us to ensure we had everything we needed. I have to say the house had absolutely everything we needed and more!! Highly recommend this home, close to everything, comfortable with plenty of space. The wi fi and smart tv allowed us to sit back at night and watch movies after skiing all day. Thanks again!!

Enjoyable stay near Okemo
Joe’s place was great. The location was close and easy. Everything we needed in a place to stay during our extended Okemo weekend was available without issue. Communication was excellent, and check in and out was easy.

Great home, great location!
Such a perfect little house, fit our family’s needs while skiing at Okemo. 5 min drive to mountain. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Kids loved bunk beds and laundry was a real plus! Owner very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect house for a weekend at Okemo!
Joseph's house was very clean and everything was just as described. It was the perfect house for us to meet up another family and ski at Okemo. Two double rooms for couples, and a bunk bed room for all the kids to share!

Great Vacation
Highly recommend the house. Came with my family (2 adults, 3 children). The kids loved the bunk room and exploring outside. House was well stocked with what you would need and very clean. The owner was attentive and answered any questions we had. Very close to town and the ski mountain. Plan on coming back again.

Cozy, comfortable ski getaway
Our family of 4 stayed for 4 weeks this season and absolutely loved it! Joe was very communicative and made the entire rental process very easy for us. The house itself was a very simple 5-minute drive to Okemo mountain and 2-minute drive into downtown Ludlow. It is on a great, quiet street with a nice backyard where the kids could play in the snow after a day of skiing. It also backs up to some woods and a creek which offer some scenery and privacy and gave the kids a little area to explore.
The house was very clean and warm, and offered plenty of space for us to be able to spread out during our semi-extended stay. We found everything we needed available to us for preparing all our own meals at home. There were plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The furniture was comfortable and the house itself was very inviting and pleasant to come home to after a long day on the mountain.
We greatly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. This is a great property and we look forward to getting back next season!

Perfect Home Base for Skiing at Okemo Mountain Resort
Great home base for skiing at Okemo (less than 10 minutes). We stayed 3 nights.
The neighborhood is quiet and the streets are well plowed so it makes getting to the mountain very easy in the morning.
Entry into the house was easy, there was multiple key sets which helped with having a ski/non-ski group. The house was clean and neat. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, sheets and blankets available. Closest had tons of hanging space so there wasn't a need to live out of a suitcase. Comfortable living room couch and chair. Nice sound system to listen to music if desired.
Water pressure in the shower was great and there was plenty of hot water (awesome with a group of 4 skiers). The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of glasses, cookware, utensils and a coffeemaker. There were board games and tons of reading material if you got stuck inside. The house gets great natural light in the kitchen and the blackout shades in the living room are a nice touch. Also, there were trail maps and mountain guides which came in handy planning.
Large parking area where you could fit 3+ cars.
Pellet fire place was a plus as it was easy for all people to use/put out at night.
A couple things of note that were minor: no ceiling fans/lights in the bedrooms (floor lamps and table lamps), only one mirror in the bathroom (stayed with 3 women so only one time it was an issue), bedroom #2 only had one side table due to limited space.
Overall it was a great stay and Joe, the owner, was attentive and accommodating. The rental binder made everything so much easier and addressed every FAQ. Would definitely stay again!

Comfortable place in a great location
Nice house, very neat and at a great location. Minutes to restaurants and shops and 5 mins to Okemo base. We spent 4 days here in Feb 2017 and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this place!

This home is in the PERFECT location to downtown Ludlow, and Okemo Mountain. We had a group of 7. The 4 bunk bed room was perfect for the kids and the other 2 bedrooms were spacious for the adults. The beds were very comfortable! The bathroom was large with a washer/dryer. Updated vanity, shower pressure was great and plenty of hot water. The only room in the house with a mirror is the bathroom. I was glad I brought a hand held cosmetic mirror that I used in the bedroom to apply makeup and blow dry my hair so others could use the bathroom. There is a huge sectional couch that we could all sit on in the family room, but other seating options would be a bonus (Comfy arm chairs instead of the 2 metal chairs). The pellet stove heated the house quickly. The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped. The table can accommodate 7 people. 4 chairs and a bench seat. Two stools can be used at the kitchen counter for additional seating. The owner of the home responded quickly to my emails and provided detailed instructions about arrival, during the stay and departure procedures. Having recycle and trash containers on the side of the house was WONDERFUL and easy! I have stayed in other homes where I had to bring the trash and recyclables to the town transfer station.

Very nice and clean house, close to everything
We stayed in this house for 3 nights in January and enjoyed it very much. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped, big living with pallet stove provides very cozy atmosphere. The house is just minutes form Okemo Ski resort. Everything was in great order. We will definitely rent again from this owner.

Great Place Great Value
My family loves Ludlow and Okemo. Stayed at this house over New Years and it is exactly as the owner stated: house is recently updated and furnished except for the kitchen; however, the kitchen appliances were all newer and kitchen has a Vermont charm to it. Great location, a very quick ride to Okemo base lodge (5 minutes) and a few more minutes to Jackson Gore. Didn't use the shuttle but saw it and passed it frequently. Very convenient location, quiet street with friendly neighbors, clean and comfortable. The owners are very responsive and easy to deal with. Definitely would rent again.
