Located across from historic Lake George Village. Lake George is one of the regions most beautiful lakes nestled in the Adirondack Mountains, it's breathtaking! JUNE SPECIAL! STAY ANY MONDAY & TUESDAY NIGHT GET WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOR FREE! Fully furnished private home located on a private side street with semi-private beach access and lake view. Lake George village is less than a mile away and in walking distance. Enjoy mini golf, arcades, exceptional dining, entertainment, bike trails, hiking and shopping. For those who enjoy golf there are numerous public courses located in the area. The Great Escape theme park is 15 minutes away. Saratoga Racetrack is a short 30 minute ride south of Lake George and offers more excitement for the family. Every Thursday night watch fireworks from the semi-private beach (July 4th thru Labor Day). There are so many things to do from fishing, swimming, boating, para sailing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, tubing, and water skiing or you can just relax in your private back yard or down at the semi-private beach. Right down the road is a recreation area that provides tennis, basketball and a playground area appropriate for all ages. We also have two kayaks available to rent during your stay, ask host for details. Excellent location! This home really contributed to our perfect stay in Lake George! We loved the outdoor fire pit and the fact that the kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook meals. The beds were comfy and the upstairs room was beautiful, with tons of natural light. We opted to use the kayaks and were so glad we did! We loved sitting in the screened-in porch and listening to the fireworks while it rained. The indoor dining table only has 2 chairs but we preferred the dining table in the screened-in porch anyway because of the lovely breeze.
The host was very responsive and that made our stay even better! We definitely plan on staying here again, when we return to Lake George. Highly recommend!

Quaint cottage near Lake George. Very clean and host was very attentive to our needs. Located on the east side of lake which was nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of the west side. Highly recommend.

The location of the house was great - right by lake, 5 minute drive to town center of Lake George. And overall the house is a old solid cabin style lake house.
Says the house can sleep 8 but I would say max 5/6 to be comfortable - 3 bedrooms and a futon.
Cleanliness was an issue. The grill was nasty when we got there (they did come help to clean it), there were ton of bugs on bedroom floors that were very unsettling, and a lot of the silverware needed another clean.
House doesn't have AC, not even one single window unit, just ceiling and floor fans that really dont do much at all so it is HOT in the summer.
Kayaks pictured do not come with the house. Post booking found out they were at an additional cost so decided not to use them.
Homeowner lives on the street, was helpful in the few situations we needed it which I did appreciate.

The house was clean and well organized. Rooms were spacious as our family of 7 fit just fine. Host was very responsive and provided all of the information up front.

This was a wonderful old camp. Liked the crow’s nest bedroom! Owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed the nice Sandy beach area. All amenities were taken care of. My house mates loved it too.
Will definitely book again next year.
Only downside was futon on couch was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. Everything else was great.

House was great, kids had a blast and a few steps to a private beach area and walking distance to million dollar beach. What would be expected from a lake side house/cottage.
Would have been nice to know there is
1) No Air conditioning
2) After booking and paying insurance for the stay through VRBO you are getting hit with an "Owner Required" security deposit.
This made the stay more expensive than expected.

It was the perfect cottage for us (3 night stay). We wanted something close to everything but far enough out to be quiet. We hope to come back someday.
Although we were not interested in swimming, there is a beach just down the street.

Lovely stay in an Adirondack furnished home. Beds were comfy and many cooking and family gathering possibilities from the kitchen to the outdoor areas. Screened in porch and walking distance to restaurants was a plus!

A charming cabin on the lake is what we wanted and exactly what we got. The location is unbeatable, the private beach access and short 4 minute drive to town really made this cabin amazing!

Best summer vacation!!!
This was a wonderful place to stay for our week long trip to Lake George. The house is in walking distance of Lake George village, has access to a private beach and is a 2 minute walk from usher park/small public beach. The house is spacious, relaxing and a perfect place to unwind. Cherie was a great host and super responsive. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Great getaway
We had a great stay! Great location, walk to the beach, and fort. The trolly also has a stop close by if needed. It close enough to downtown but away enough to relax! Plenty of room and everything we needed! Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we could need.. Sheri was great at communicating and quick. Definitely stay again! Favorite spot was the enclosed porch we spent alot of time out there!

This home was perfect. The location was good. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary cookware. The linens were clean and fresh. And the owner was very responsive and a good communicator. My only suggestion would be to use softer overhead lightbulbs. The lights were so bright / white that we opted not to use them.

Charming property that gave the lake rustic vibe. The area was perfect and access to everything we needed and was close to town. Sheri was very detailed and answered our messages extremely quickly.

This place was so charming, it was perfect on so many levels. From getting up in the morning and having your coffee on the front porch to a family cookout and beverages hanging out by the fire and making s’more’s in the back, And everything in between was perfect. The house is Steps away from the beach with beautiful views, and right around the corner from all the cute shops. We were a family of 8 and there was more than enough rooms to sleep and hang out. The neighbors were very nice and the owners are nice and accommodating.We wish we could of stayed longer

Fun family weekend
Sheri's house is cute, well appointed, and was a perfect spot to spend a weekend with family by the lake. Proximity to the town was great-- close enough to be convenient but far enough to be quiet! The little beach at the end of the road and fire pit in the back yard were nice as well. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect little lake house for my family and I . Private beach is literally steps away !! House is very quaint and a walk to town while giving you privacy and the serenity of the lake and country side . Owner was super easy to get in touch with ! Beautiful house close to town
House was so nice and so close to town, about a 5 minute drive. Access to lake is right outside which was nice. Only negative is there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. the first night was 97 degrees and we struggled. When the temperature went down even a little it was perfect to sleep in. We only had a hard time because it was a heat wave… so check the temperature. Overall would definitely stay here again had a beautiful screened in den, nice front porch and even a cute backyard. Would definitely recommend.

Top place to stay in Lake George
An amazing place for any family to stay! Close to the beach and downtown. Awesome backyard with grill and fire pit. My wife loved playing in the creek out front. Room for 8 adults, very clean, nice bathroom and shower. We plan on staying again soon!

Perfect Getaway
Our family wanted to get away for a celebration of my husband's birthday. The house was rustic, cozy, clean and had the perfect kitchen for us to cook up a great birthday dinner.
The lake was just a few steps from the house and we were able to launch our kayak and take a swim in the beautiful crystal clear water. Although you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle of the town, you are a 5 minute ride to all the attractions.
Our host Sheri was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again.
