Nestled in Tulum, this charming condo for $220 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to our home in Tulum! We fell in love with Tulum and wanted a place that was an escape, a chance to truly relax and unwind, to be close to the vibe and beauty of the beach but still have all the modern comforts and amenities. Our home here gives us all that, plus it is a great jumping off point to explore the activities, culture, and beauty of the Yucatan. It is equally well suited as a romantic couple’s get away, or to bring friends and explore the outdoor activities here, or to enjoy a family vacation with the kids. We hope to share it with you and are sure that you will enjoy it. Located in the brand new Aldea Zama gated community, this is the closest modern condo to beautiful Tulum Beach, famous for it’s Caribbean charm, talcum powder sand, gourmet restaurants, and jet set chic. There is no high-rise development here, so it is never over-crowded or touristy, just miles of beach with small gourmet restaurant and chic little bars nestled into the jungle at the water’s edge. The natural beauty of Tulum beach cannot be overstated, with sparkling blue water and the jungle running right down to the sea. Tulum Beach has visitors from around the world, so expect to meet interesting people. The condo is brand new (just completed December 2015), upscale, tastefully decorated, and fully furnished with everything you will need for your stay. There is air conditioning in each room, all modern appliances, granite counter tops, microwave, and a large stainless steel refrigerator. With a fully stocked kitchen, you can make some of your meals yourself if you wish. Eat healthy; try some local fruits and vegetables from the local market, and save money instead of paying for restaurant meals every day. This luxury condo has custom furniture, marble floors, and covered balconies on three sides of the living area. The large wrap around terrace is perfect for watching the sunrise from one side, enjoying the shade while the sun is high, and from the opposite balcony, enjoy an afternoon or sundown cocktail overlooking the pool below. The condo design is an open concept living area, with lots of sunlight. With screened sliding glass doors on 3 sides to cool the main living area, you can open them all to enjoy the breezes and hear the sounds of songbirds in the jungle (amazing in the morning). The Master bedroom has a King bed with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony with a screened sliding glass door. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, and an en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms feature large closets, built-in drawers, and ceiling fans. There are also blackout curtains are just perfect for a good night’s sleep. High speed Internet is included. We have beach towels, high quality linens, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board for your use. There is an in-room programmable safe to store your valuables and passports. We are located off the little road that connects the town of Tulum with the beach area. The condo is within easy biking distance to the beach, as well as to all the attractions in town. There is a paved bike path connecting to the beach road and running along the beach road for several miles, passing lots of cool little shops, cafes, and restaurants on the beach. There are plenty of beach access spots up and down Tulum Beach. There is a brand new American style grocery store nearby for all your needs. You can take a low cost cab ride to explore the local restaurants and attractions, or you can rent a scooter and explore the town, where the banks, ATM’s and shops are located. A car is not needed here, but is recommended if you wish to explore the extended area. The neighborhood has 24-hour security, as does the condo complex itself. There is safe parking on site. The local fire department, police station, and emergency medical clinic are all just across the street from the development. This literally is the closest modern condo development to the beach area, approximately 1½ mile to the public beaches. Bike there, ride a scooter, or take an ever-present local cab. While the beach hotels are quaint, they can be quite expensive and are often small with limited amenities. Why not stay in a comfortable private home where you have hot water, comfortable beds, 1200 sq. ft of space, and air conditioning, as well as a large pool to cool off in after a day at the beach? Please note - This building is brand new and we are among the first to move in. The builder is still adding finishing touches in some of the other units, so some construction noise may be expected during workdays, depending upon the workers schedule. There are so many things to do locally. Bike to the Mayan Ruins (2-3 miles) or swim in the many local cenotes (brilliant crystal clear fresh water pools). How about morning yoga on the beach, play a Robert Trent Jones golf course 15 minutes away, or learn to kite surf. You can snorkel with sea turtles at nearby Akumal Bay.

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful gated condo with 24/7 security on site. They helped us to secure taxis whenever we needed them. The condo was very quiet and clean. Beautiful pool. Walking distance to shopping and great restaurants. The host was very responsive and happy to help set us up with any assistance we needed from tours to groceries. Highly recommend.

Thank you for a great stay. The unit is perfect and the pool was great. Aside from all the construction around the area, we had a wonderful visit. The apartment had everything we needed.

The condo was quite comfortable overall. The kitchen utensils, plates and glasses were beyond limited. The condo had a queen bed in one room and a pair of single beds in the other bedroom. Enough sleeping availability for four to six people if one includes the living room sofas. However, there were a very limited array of plates, platters, and serving crock ware. The one large knife was just dangerous to use due to the dullness and no way to sharpen it. I just felt the implements available were seriously lacking.
The other items not described was a remodel, or repair of the decking or floor tile on the exterior walkway/patio area. Workers grinding, hammering and creating clouds of dust for four days in a row. The daily cleanup was minimum at best.
Wendy and Manuel were wonderful about returning text and answering questions and they each get five stars.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay quite a bit, location was convenient for our needs.

We were two couples staying and visiting Tulum and the surrounding area for a week.
We found the condo to be very clean and comfortable. The A/C worked great and the pool was cool and refreshing - life-savers on the hot afternoons when we needed a break from the heat.
The kitchen was appointed well enough for basic cooking, which was all we needed! Drinking water in a large jug with a battery operated pump was super convenient.
Being two couples, it was great to have our own ensuite bathrooms. Bedding was soft and cozy. The twin beds were firm and the larger bed was medium.
Windows on all three sides made it feel like we were in the top of a jungle :-) Little balconies were great for early morning coffee and listening to the birds chirping.
Manuel, our contact while we were there, was quick to answer questions, and happy to help when some luggage was delayed and had to be delivered to the front gate the next day.
There are lots of great restaurants within a 10 minute walk in one direction. The beach was a longer walk (about 50min) in the other direction. There were so many people on bicycles - we wished we'd had some of our own. Next time!
We did have a rental car, which was easy to park in the secure parking area, and enabled us to visit many attractions that were 1-1.5hrs driving distance away.
We all agree that we would stay here again :-) Thank you for making it available to us for our stay in Tulum!

The apartment looks just like the listing. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay,, plenty of space, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepared some of our meals. The landscape in the building was beautiful, the pool was great, it’s located in a great are with lots of restaurants. The beach is about a 8 minute drive from the apartment. We are going to need some type of transportation. This is a great apartment, will recommend to anybody traveling to Tulum.

We never saw the concierge as we didn’t need to, but we had a great contact and quick response to our needs. I will go back if one day back in tulum.

Great pool, amazing apartment. Location was far from beach, we suggest a car or taxi for all transportation. Manuel was excellent and gave great local recommendations.

The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment was very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and well furnished. The landscaping is a lovely and the pool, once opened, was also delightful, however the jacuzzi wasn't open during our stay which was disappointing. The complex is located on the side of town which is a fairly busy area of construction and growth which is noisy at times with trucks and building equipment. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Puerta Zama.

The place was well stocked with the necessities. Great location and a nice complex. The check in instructions took a bit of doing because the gate guard spoke absolutely no English and I cannot speak Spanish, but we ultimately made it through that hurdle. Other than that small hiccup, very nice place overall.

Manuel promptly brought us a cooler and bags of ice so we could keep our groceries, and kept us updated with progress regarding the power (even though it was not the fault of the property--it was Tulum-wide). He offered to shop for us before our arrival which was super nice. The location is just a short drive to the beach and into town, very convenient to the ruins north and south, and the local cenotes. We'd highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Tulum.

It was clean, and I love getting up in the morning and sitting out side. The customer service is also amazing from the property management agency. Would definitely recommend. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. The pool was very nice and so was the landscaping. All in all, it was a great experience. The unit was clean, spacious, and it has great balconies. Very relaxing in the morning with coffee. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay in Tulum!
The condo was very nice. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was really good although a bike, scooter or car would be an asset as the condo is located a little way from town and the beach. The property manager was very helpful with arrangements. She replied to emails very quickly. We felt very safe in this neighbourhood and will definitely return to this condo in Tulum.

MADE OUR VACATION
This condo made our vacation extremely enjoyable. The location was excellent (in a quiet location but an easy bike ride to attractions, restaurants and beach). The condo was very clean and had all the conveniences of home. The response time to any questions we had was very quick. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again if we return to Tulum.
