Situated in Fraser, this charming house for $3,011 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to The Lodge on Vasquez Creek, one of the largest and upscale private homes in the Winter Park/Fraser Valley area. The Lodge on Vasquez Creek is located on a beautiful, secluded lot, one block from the heart of downtown Winter Park in the picturesque setting on Vasquez Creek. The free local shuttle bus stops steps from our home and runs to the ski resort and all over town. If you prefer to drive, we are less than a 5 minute drive (2 miles) from the Winter Park Ski Resort. This stunning home boasts very spacious entertaining areas both inside and out and a private foot bridge crossing Vasquez Creek. The Lodge on Vasquez Creek features 8 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, making it one of the largest rentals in the area and with every bedroom having an en suite bathroom. Our home was recently finished with all the upgrades including high end finishes and brand new furnishings making for a spectacular vacation rental. This private home has a fully-equipped, gourmet kitchen with high end, stainless steel appliances including: a Wolf 8 burner gas range, large 30' double ovens, over sized Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, and double Bosch dishwashers. There is also a separate wet bar, complete with a wine cooler and bar sink, perfect for mixing cocktails or pouring a glass of wine and an extra frigde/freezer in the garage. The eat-in dining area has a large, twelve foot table that seats 18 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the bar island. In the luxury primary suite, you can lay in bed with amazing views of the mountains and Vasquez Creek. The suite boasts a gas fireplace, large walk-in closet and five piece bath with huge soaking tub, walk-in tile shower and double sink vanity. All eight bedrooms have their own private baths en suite (connected to room for maximum privacy - no sharing or walking down the hall), large closets and high quality bed/bath linens. The family room is complete with large 60' HDTV flat screen and huge rock fireplace. There is also ample seating and a queen sleeper sofa in family room. Enjoy the multiple gathering and living spaces, private hot tub, family game room with pool table, ping pong, tons of board games, puzzles and an Xbox Kinect gaming system, wireless internet, 2 car garage, huge entrance/foyer room with plenty of storage for skis, boots and snowboards, laundry room with washer/dryer, a crib, 2 high chairs, and private foot bridge crossing Vasquez Creek. A group of 20 friends coming from all over the country had a much anticipated reunion at Ashley's home and had a fantastic time. The home is very well maintained and comfortable, with a pool table, hot tub, large mudroom to fit all your gear, and had plenty of bathrooms and space to comfortably fit us. We were able to enjoy all that Winter Park had to offer, as well as spend quality time catching up in front of the fireplace. Thank you Ashley for hosting our weekend!

The house was perfect for our group of 16 who were together for my daughters wedding. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and closeness to town and the nooks and crannies for small groups to chat. The kitchen was large and amazing and the dishwashers very helpful for a group of our size.
Only recommendation is to have earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The train tracks run right behind the house and can be loud, especially with the windows open.
We would stay here again for another occasion. Ashley was responsive and accommodating.

This is an amazing hone, beautifully furnished and located in a gorgeous and convenient spot close to town. We loved having several different gathering places both inside and outside. We would LOVE to come back!!!

Four generations of our family (16 people from age12-83) had a fabulous time in this beautiful home on the river. We cooked dinner every night in the well appointed kitchen and all fit around the table together. There was so much room to spread out on rainy days- doing puzzles in the living room, pool or ping pong games, playing cards and games, and just hanging out. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom, and we could hear the river at night through our open windows. We would definitely stay there again!

- The river is literally just off the deck
- The kitchen is well appointed

- Brand new gas grill
The issues, all minor:
- No shoes in the house. Unusual restrictions like this should be on the listing website
- The house is dated and some blinds don't work.
- You cannot get two cars in the garage. It's full of stuff and we barely got one mid-size SUV in. The listing should be corrected.

We stayed in this beautiful home with our children and grandchildren for a week of tubing, boarding and sking. The spacious, clean home with many bedrooms and bathrooms fit our needs and the hot tub was a hit after a full day on the slopes. Thanks for the memories made rhis week!!

My group of 18 adults all loved staying at this property. Everything was clean and well stocked, and the surrounding area was gorgeous! We LOVED having that big dining table for all of us to be able to eat together, and I also loved the big couch and living room area where we were all able to watch a movie together. The creek nearby added such a calming ambience to every moment of our trip. One issue we had was a locked bedroom door when we first arrived, but that was quickly fixed by management. Another was a clogged shower drain that was unfortunately not resolved by the end of our 3-day stay after we reported it on the second day. None of that particularly changed my opinion on an otherwise very lovely place to stay! Would highly recommend!

We had a large group of us staying at the house, 21 total including our 1-year old daughter. The location of the house is great for skiing Winter Park - the Miller's Inn shuttle stop on the Brown Line is just across the bridge. We utilized this daily and barely had to do any driving. The house itself is great for large groups - the kitchen has all the utensils and tools you would need to cook for a large gathering. The carpet is very plush and makes the living room and bedrooms feel cozy. Although it was mentioned in our check-in instructions, 3 pairs of the bedrooms split a thermostat and many in our party had a hard time getting a good temperature in the rooms. We had our daughter in a pack-n-play (provided by the host!) in the master bedroom, but even with the radiant heat flooring and our thermostat turned up, we had a hard time getting the bedroom temperature above 62 degrees for most of the week. I called the owner Alex and asked about this and the master bedroom fireplace not working, and he apologized about the gas fireplace and said to turn up the thermostat and it should heat the bedroom (we had limited success). I also mentioned to him about the doorknob to the backdoor missing a few screws and falling apart and he said he'd contact a maintenance guy to attempt to fix. We never saw a repair man come and didn't hear back further, so I wasn't sure of the status of that. Overall, the location of the house and its amenities made it worth the price to our group. We certainly enjoyed our time at the house and the hot tub on the patio was great to have. The only "issues" we had were with the temperatures of the rooms at night, and the dryness of the bedrooms (all of the rooms had humidifiers provided by the hosts, but even with those going full blast we all woke up each morning with extremely dry mouths), but this was likely just our bodies adjusting to the higher elevation. It would also have been nice to have a follow-up from Alex as well regarding the door knob maintenance request, but overall our group was happy with the house and would recommend to others.

This property was great for our small family reunion. The large kitchen, living room and game room were perfect for our multiage group. We only wished the patio table shown in pictures was still there.( I think photos have been updated since then) and heat in downstairs master. Only a small cofusion on how many bunk bed rooms. But overall this place gets a 8/9. I would definately book it again.

This house was perfect for our family reunion! We especially loved that each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms were far enough away from the main gathering areas that it was nice and quiet for those of us that went to bed early or got up late. The creek and outdoor patio were great for spending time outside and feeling like you were in your own little escape. Everyone said how much they loved this house and how perfect it was for our group. We would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a great experience in the Winter Park area. Ashley was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had!

Fantastic Home
We had a great experience at this property in Winter Park. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a huge benefit. The sound of the creek was peaceful while hanging out on the large patio and you could even hear it as you were falling asleep. Highly recommended!

Nice getaway
We enjoyed our family reunion. Winter Park is a fun town with lots of outdoor activities. We’ve stayed here before and noticed that the cleaning crew must have changed. Garbage left in the kitchen made the house smell bad upon arrival. The garage door doesn’t shut, so the stinky garbage cans in the garage also drifted into the house. Coffee grounds were still in the makers from the last guests.
The house easily accommodated 25 of us, and if the garage issue is fixed, I’d recommend this place.

Perfect Family Reunion Location
The Lodge at Vasquez Creek served as the perfect location for our family reunion. Four generations, including our parents, siblings, children and granddaughter, enjoyed a week together celebrating our wedding and catching up with family we had not seen in many months. The house was perfect for a large group – clean, private bathrooms stocked with all the basics and fluffy towels, a well-appointed kitchen primed for the preparation of large meals, and plenty of space for fun games or quiet reading. The host responded quickly to an urgent repair issue. It was an easy stroll to the town of Winter Park to visit restaurants, shops or breweries, and fabulous hikes were a short drive away. Wild Horse Catering served a delightful dinner one evening, one highlight of the priceless moments we spent with our entire family gathered at the large dining table through the week. The rushing sound of Vasquez Creek provided a cheery backdrop when relaxing on the deck and soothed us to sleep at night. Overall, a wonderful trip. Thank you!

Great house for a family ski trip!
Our three children, their spouses and our 12 grandchildren enjoyed this home on our family ski trip to Winter Park. The eight bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom was perfect for our family. The kids enjoyed the ping pong/pool table, the hot tub and many evenings playing games and putting together puzzles. The big dining room table and bar seating accommodated our family of twenty. Great memories were made!!!
