The blissful, 2100 square foot, immaculate cottage has a first floor master suite with new King bed and newly renovated private bath, with walk in shower and vanity, with separate entrance to front porch. The other four bedrooms are located on the second floor; there are two queens, one twin bed and one Full size. There is one full bath upstairs with original, clean soaking tub. The first floor has a full, well equipped kitchen, as the owners are gourmet cooks. Brand new Kitchen Aid stainless and four burner gas cook top, double kitchenAid Convection wall ovens, Bosch dishwasher, two sinks, bar area and ice maker. Full laundry room, and outdoor shower to rinse the salt after kayaking all day! Dining room accommodates ten comfortably. Living room has all new, tasteful and comfy furntiture as of May 2020.. The house accommodates ten adults comfortably. Perfect place to read those books that have been on your nightstand the last six months! Ideal spot to nap, cook for your friends, spend an afternoon kayaking or selecting a movie to watch ( wall mounted flat screen) by the massive stone fireplace! Choose to enjoy afternoon cocktails spent on your private shuffleboard court with family and friends or relax on the oceanside bluestone patio. Watch the herons, seagulls, osprey and other wildlife around you; start a fire in the outdoor wood fire pit, and enjoy the aroma of woodsmoke and smores being prepared! High speed wi-fi, & cable TV with over 200 channels and 45 digital music stations are available. Non smoking property. Well behaved pets are considered with a non-refundable pet security deposit. Linens and towels are provided, which are professionally laundered each week.

We had a wonderful time here, staying with our 1 year old and extended family. The location is private, yet convenient to anything you would need and we loved spending time on the dock and wading into the ocean on the rocky shore. Even on rainy days, the large deck allowed us to spend time enjoying the outdoors. We would love to come back!

This cozy home was ideal for our getaway with friends, with ample space inside and out. We enjoyed breezy breakfasts and afternoon cocktail hours on the wraparound porch, and the dock, kayaks, shuffleboard and fire pit all made for many happy hours spent outside. We look forward to future visits.

Charming cottage right on the water. It was exactly as was described and everyone was thrilled with the location, the experience, and the access to the bay. Geoff and his brother Rob were available as necessary without being intrusive. Highly recommend!

This turned out to be the perfect place for our family to gather to celebrate 2 landmark birthdays! On our arrival we found a very cozy, warm house with a fire already going in the fireplace which was so inviting and welcoming. The house was perfect for our group of 10, ranging in age from 12-83………so comfortable, well equipped, and thoughtfully and interestingly furnished. Geoff, the owner, was delightful and was available for anything we might need but was anything but intrusive. And the location was absolutely idyllic! We hope to be able to return to this beautiful place in the future…….it is a treasure!

I hate to give this property such a great review because I want to keep it a secret and keep it all to myself. Geoff was a fantastic host. Very helpful, communicative. Property was just as advertised in terms of photos matching up to the wonderful amenities and nature of the property. Everything you need is there for a wonderful and relaxing stay. We only stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Will be back!

We really enjoyed staying at this wonderful cottage. It was very peaceful and relaxing just hanging out on the porch. The views are great! Inside the cottage is well equipped and bedrooms were a good size. The East Boothbay General Store is just a short walk away for a morning pastry or lunch.

This property is the quintessential Maine cottage experience. Much care has been taken to preserve the charm and history of the cottage while at the same time updating to maximize comfort and add modern amenities where it makes sense. We had three generations staying in the cottage over the long Memorial Day weekend and everyone was comfortable and happy. We especially enjoyed the beautiful fireplace, large dining room (where we could all sit at the same table for family meals), and the cozy reading nook. We have stayed at several different rentals over the years, but I'm not sure we have ever stayed at a property that had more beautiful grounds. The landscaping, water access, and outdoor activities (such as the shuffleboard court) were perhaps our favorite part of the experience. We would love to come back again soon, maybe in the fall. Thanks to Geoff for being a great host and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this property! You won't be disappointed.

My stay at Cornell Cottage was delightful. The property is beautifully situated and maintained. There’s clearly a lot of love and attention paid to the place. Plenty of room to find a cozy nook to read, or to gather with family and friends around the fire ...Geoff was wonderful and responsive to all questions and requests. I hope to return!

We had a fantastic time at the Cornell Cottage. The home was beautiful, relaxing, peaceful and exceeded our expectations. The location and views were amazing. Geoff was attentive and responsive to all of our questions. Everything that we could have needed was available to us. This home provided a well needed retreat during this crazy year. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We hope to visit again! We highly recommend this property

The property is fantastic the home is well laid out very well-maintained charming great place to stay with the family. And the location on the bay is Spectacular having access to the kayaks and being able to get out on the water really makes this is a wonderful place. And Boothbay is a great town wonderful restaurants I could not recommend this place more

The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were able to cook meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The best parts were the back deck, the fire pit and the private dock. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee. The little store down the street was excellent. Boothbay was an easy drive and there is lots to explore in this part of Maine. We would definitely stay here again.
