Il ne faut pas s'attendre à un resort de luxe avec restos, bar et piscine, mais c'est tout le charme! On est au bord de la mer avec une petite plage quasi-privative, et des grandes plages à 3, 5 et 15 minutes, avec un large choix de restaurants pieds-dans-l'eau. Le personnel est très aimable et compétent.

Le cottage de la première nuit était vraiment petit et basique, et sans la moindre vue. Heureusement on a pu changer pour un cottage tout-à-fait correct, quoique sans vue de mer.

Myggene, men der var ikke så mange. Lidt trist med et forladt hotel længere nede ad strand og meget rod dernede.

Die Lage ist super. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Hütte war sehr sauber.

Die Hütte ist sehr klein. Es fehlt an Haken und Ablagemöglichkeiten sowohl im Bad als auch im Schlafraum.

Preis Leistung sehr gut👍 Abgeschieden und sehr ruhig vorallem in der Nacht. Tolle klimatisierte Bungalows. War das dritte mal auf Koh Samet und werde noch öfters dorthin reisen👍

Friendly staff, very quiet place, nice beaches nearby. Nice breakfast.

Rooms are very basic.

The location was terrific. It was Quiet and beautiful. Tucked away next to the beach, it avoided the loud bars and drunk tourists downtown. The staff were beyond friendly. When I left, I felt like I was leaving a family friend's house.

It was perfect for me, but the rooms are bare bones, and I could imagine it might be loud if you had a neighbor in the adjoining room. The beds were a little firmer than I like, but again, for the price, you really can't beat the price and location.

Het personeel is zo gastvrij! Bij aankomst vroeg de dame van de receptie dat we konden kiezen tussen twee kamers. Uiteindelijk een veel grotere kamer kunnen kiezen. Het personeel wil je met alles helpen. ATM was alleen in het stadje aanwezig, ik mocht gratis met het personeel in de taxi mee en ze regelde ook meteen terugvervoer met korting. Om de dag werd de kamer helemaal opgeruimd en schoongemaakt en elke dag nieuwe handdoeken en flesjes water. Er hangt een hele fijne en relaxte sfeer. Het is rustig en wat verder weg van de drukke kroegen en bars. Elke ochtend uitgebreid ontbijt. Keuze uit 3 soorten. Amerikaans of Thais.

Om het eiland te zien moet je een scooter huren. Dat kost 400 baht voor een dag. Je kunt wel naar het volgende baaitje lopen, dat is ongeveer een kwartier lopen. Verwacht geen uitgestrekt strand, er is een klein Prive baaitje.

Construction is ongoing although it did not affect us, there was no noise at all. The rooms were super clean but also pretty basic. We loved it all the same

As a solo woman traveller i felt very safe and comfortable with the place. It felt homey especially with the friendly and helpful hosts who are women as well :) the cabin was super cute and right by the beach and i like that its on the other side of the island and the crowd so its quite quiet just what i was looking for.

The beach right in front is quite rocky so would need to find a close by beach to swim which I’m sure is going to be pretty and clean cos its far from the pier. I upgraded my room to the cabins which i found nicer than the one i originally booked. I thought the island was a bit expensive for accommodation, i paid for 3 star hotel in Pattaya with full amenities and facilities on that same week with similar prices. I know its a different location but just saying.

Viking Holiday is the perfect place to relax by the beach. Everyone is lovely. I hope to return soon, kap kun kaa:)

We liked the menu, which was very diverse. Breakfast was delicious. Always coming with fresh fruit plates. Also fruit shakes were very good. Accommodation is directly at the beach. They offer swim rings and a small boat for free use, and snorkelling gear for a small fee. Possibilities to also play darts or choose books from their book swap corner. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They took good care of our toddler.

The location is great, quiet, and with a cute little stretch of beach. I loved that the beach was there, a garden with hammocks was there, lots of shade and a beautiful sunbed area in front of the beach where I could enjoy a stunning full moon at night! The staff is very friendly and attentive, from the start. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. And the restaurant has a nice menu where to have lunch. At feet distance is the view point to see the sunset and a restaurant for dinner with fireworks too!

Friendly staff, location was perfect, right on the beach. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place for you. The breakfast was also excellent and I can't wait to come back an dstay here again.

Water-pressure in the bathroom was not okay, very weak, in the beachfront bungalow( April 2023)

resort stuff was super helpful . we really appreciate everything they do for us . they call the taxi . and wait with us during super hot weather. just walk close to the beach . all the little stuff always smile and polit. it make us feel like home . 100%recommend ! love Viking. the best choice in the island

Very friendly and helpful staff. The chalet was nice and clean. Everything worked fine. We were close to the beach and sea. A very quiet location but with a few other resorts and restaurants close by. This was helpful as the restaurant at the resort closes at 5pm. Nice touches included putting mosquito coils outside of the chalet in the evening. The food was fine and quite a reasonable price.

Some may find it too quiet as it a fair distance from the main tourist areas. So having a motorcycle would be good idea to explore the Island. The beaches were good but small don't expect miles of sandy beaches.

Sad that they don’t do evening meals (food until 5pm, drinks until 8pm). But nearest restaurant just a few minutes’ walk.

The location is perfect, beautiful beach, food great, very good breakfast, the owner very very nice and helpfull, always friendly. We had every day cleaned towels, gratis water and coffee. We stayed 5 days and really enjoyed the place!!!

Everything was perfect for us

Whenever you find a slice of paradise, you feel that the world is so kind to you. After experiencing a way to busy Phuket, this felt like a form of resurrection. Amazing location, amazing sea, amazing staff, amazing food, amazing vibe, amazing value for money. Amazing everything. I still hear the sound of the waves crashing against the stones on the shore that this wonderful resort faces. Loved it and I still keep thinking about this holiday even weeks after returning.

That I had to leave …:-)
