A good place to stay for a visit to Wilson’s Promontory

Good central location on the main road, well furnished, comfortable bed, great shower. We had 2 adjoining properties, which meant we had a verandah at the front of the property and a deck at the back away from the main road.

We didn’t receive the promised text to let us know the property was ready or give us the key codes. We had to phone the hosts after the check in time of 3pm to get the codes. We initially drove past the property as there was no signage visible from the road.

Good stay but don’t expect to watch much Tv

Very clean. Easy key access which was well communicated. Bed was comfortable. Secure and safe parking. Walk to various restaurants.

For the price of $200 per night the TV was very poor. Awful tv reception, near impossible to change channel (change batteries ?) and bad tinny sound. Really needs a better TV with smart tv features that can synch with the wifi. They really dont cost much in 2024. Noise from traffic.

Cottage liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung.

Das Cottage an sich ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet und war sehr sauber und hatte alles, was man braucht.

Das Cottage liegt allerdings direkt an der Straße. Hinter dem Cottage war eine Art Werkstatt (oä.) Das konnte man an den Bildern leider nicht erkennen, sonst hätte ich es nicht gebucht. Es war die teuerste Unterkunft während meiner ganzen Australienreise und für diese Lage war es definitiv zu teuer.

Signage for the property could have been more prominent. We drove past the property three times before identifying it.

Perfect and well worth the stay. Would happily return!

Fantastic location and amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure a dream after a few days of hiking. We appreciated the chocolate!

Nothing to dislike, although the carpark was a little tight to reverse.

A good option for exploring this part of Victoria.

Ideal location to visit the Alison Lester Gallery. Comfortable well equipped studio cottage. Kept suprisingly warm overnight without having to use the RC Aircon.

Was a little difficult to find as we arrived after dark.

cozy, tranquil and pleasant place to come back to after a long day of hiking at the prom.

comfortable and clean property, close to Wilsons Prom and other towns too. the hosts were lovely, although we didn’t meet them, we received a really detailed message ahead of our stay with recommendations on where to eat in town etc. much appreciated!

Great location, clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

The cottage is in a great location, right in town so you can walk to the shops, galleries and the rail trail. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. Easy check in with clear instructions. Highly recommend!

The Rooms was best we had in Gippslands!. Clean and comfortable and highly recommended to stay in Fish Creek. Near to shops and pubs.

Superb

Despite the cheap price, the inside was clean and they had enough equipments to spend our stay. I didn’t meet staffs in person but their messages were clear and punctual. If I go to Fish Creek next time with similar budget I will choose this accommodation again.

Pleasant stay in lovely place on way to Wilsons Promontory

Very close to everything. Could walk. Very friendly locals. Lovely meals at local hotel across the road. Room was lovely and clean with balconies at front and rear of unit. Great shower. Modern unit.

Bed was a bit too soft and rolled to middle of bed. No airer or usable clothes line.

Accom was super clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed after 3 days hiking in the Prom. We didnt stay long but i would highly recommend this place if you need to break up your return trip home :-)

Lovely place to stay in Fish Creek

What a lovely, well-kept, and extremely clean little unit! Perfectly located within walking distance to the town's pub and restaurants.

The bed was very soft with a huge dip in the middle, which meant we kept rolling into the centre! This is something that could be an easy fix for the owners and would make an already lovely stay, a perfect one.

Amazing Room & Great Communication

Spacious and very well presented room. Clean and great communication leading up to our stay. Perfect location. Very happy!

The bed was too soft and bouncy so I slept on the pull out sofa couch which was great

We enjoyed our accommodation and will book again.

We were there to access the rail trail which was nice and handy.

The property next door really drags down the area, is a tripping hazard on the footpath, and an eyesore, as is the overgrown and unkept outside areas of Long John Pickles. Also the dog next door, (junky side) was barking a lot. I am familiar with all the wonderful things Fish Creek has to offer, but these properties reflect badly on the town as a whole and are the first impressions from travellers coming from the Melbourne side.

Noisy, but clean and great value.

Very clean with modern renovations. Great value for money for a Wilsons Prom trip.

There’s a junkyard right next door with a dog that constantly barked waking us up very early. This should be brought up with the neighbour. It’s also on a truck route which is very loud. Being such a small, otherwise quiet town I did not expect this.

Comfortable stay in a quiet town.

We loved to stay with adrift fish creek. We stayed at the snapper room. The accommodation was super clean, easy to access and located in a small quiet town. There were enough bedding, blankets and towels for use. There was a sofa cum bed which was excellent use of space imo. There was a small fridge and tv which was good for us. The microwave had grill function which was useful. The bathroom was super neat and clean. It was great value for money.

We liked everything, just a couple of suggestions, The bed was too soft for our liking. We did use the sofa cum bed which was ok, but the mattress can be improved. It would be nice to have a stove in the room, as there aren't many restaurants around. It would have been more convenient for us, if we could cook our own meal. We did use the grill cum microwave though, which was good.
