This home has been tastefully decorated and furnished to maximize your vacation experience. It is located in Carolina Dunes Subdivision, only 9 lots from the ocean and is just a short bike ride into Duck Village where you can experience great shopping, dining, and magnificent sunsets on the water. This is truly an affordable Outer Banks family vacation rental. For beach information and the current activities, refer to the Town of Duck website! While vacationing on the Outer Banks, take the short drive North to Corolla to see the wild horses, or South to the Hatteras National Seashore and Lighthouse. Be sure to visit the Wright Brother's Memorial and Jockey's Ridge State Park, too. With so much to do, your family is sure to create memories that will last a life time! House provides comfortable stay for a group of 8. Linens and bath towels are not provided but can be rented if desired. Ground Level: Parking for 5 cars max, 1 Car Garage, Laundry Area, Full Bath, Enclosed Outdoor Shower, TV/Game room with sleeping for 2 (foosball table, dartboard, TV-Game console, and card table) BBQ Grill and complete wrap around walkway/deck. Full bath and TV room is not directly connected to main level. Stairs are outside. First Floor and Main level: ¾ Wrap around deck with Multiple Sitting Areas and picnic table, 3 Bedrooms: Master(Queen); Bedroom2(Full with Twin Bunk); Bedroom3(Queen with Twin Trundle) Full Bath room with tub, Kitchen(Dishwasher, Microwave, etc) Living Room(50” Flat Screen, with Media player for Pandora, Netflix, and Hulu) Dining Room seating for 8. Second Floor Deck/Crow's Nest: Duckin’ Around is located on the North face of the last large dune in Duck and provides an amazing 160 degree view from Ocean to Bay. The Crow's Nest truly offers stunning sunset views of the Sound and Ocean. Please be aware, there is video surveillance on the outside property. Anyone caught damaging property or not following house rules will have their lease terminated and evicted immediately without refund.

The house was great, especially the slide for my kids (ages 8 and 10). Short walk to the beach access and we enjoyed using the outdoor shower. My kids also appreciated the use of beach toys and chairs available to us in the garage.

We absolutely loved our accommodations. Beach supplies, cribs and high chair was already there making it a breeze to travel to Duck. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 (1, 3, 9 and parents). And the house and decks were adequately baby proof!
So happy with our stay and hope to stay there again!

We enjoyed staying at Duckin, beautiful, clean, spacious quarters. They had everything available that you would need for cooking, plenty of games, books, etc, etc. Not far from the beach. Short drive to H20 water park. We’d stay again if we ever get the chance for a 2nd time family vacation.

This property was perfect for our 2-week stay in Duck! Close proximity to the beach, great outdoor shower and staging area to keep sand and all our beach items separate from the main living area. Central to many great local restaurants including Aqua, NC Coast, Blue Point, just to name a few. Able to ride our bikes to town. Gorgeous views from the crow’s nest. Comfortable beds! Looking forward to another stay next year. Thank you to the hosts with the most!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Duckin Around. Was perfectly comfortable for our family visit of 3 adults and 2 kids. The house was stocked with everything we needed from traveling out of town. Definitely recommend. Already thinking about booking again for next year.

We had such a great stay! The home was very well stocked and in a great location. The views from many decks were gorgeous and our 6 year old loved using the slide to go from the mid level deck to the bottom deck. Not only was the home clean, the host was very helpful and communicative. We had a magical stay and are very grateful for the affordability and comfort of this wonderful home in Duck!

We had a wonderful time staying in this home! It was a great location with easy access to watch sunsets on the sound and a short walk to the beach. The owners provided many amenities which made cooking meals in the home a breeze. Would recommend staying here!

Our family had a wonderful time at this very nice and cozy beach house. It has everything we need, including kitchen staples, and even beach chairs and umbrella. The TV has FireTV stick that allows us to watch streaming movies, after a day at the beach. The list goes on and on. I have to mention that the Owner has been very responsive to our questions that helped us to pack certain things and not others for the trip. We would strongly recommend to rent this house.

Loved staying here for the week while at the beach. House was only a short walk to the beach and even closer to the sound. Short drive or bike ride to shops and restaurants. They had everything you can think of at the house already. Tons of beach accessories and things around the house. Had toys and games and the slide that my daughter loved as well. Would definitely recommend.

Duckin' Delightful
The house was very comfortable and well-stocked with amenities and thoughtful touches. Great for a smaller group or single family. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the crow's nest each night and stargazing. The keyless entry made coming and going a breeze.

Great week at the beach
The house was lovely and very well equipped compared to some other places we've stayed (good kitchen supplies/spices as well as beach gear). There are also lots of fun surprises (like a slide from the main level down to the ground level). The walk to the beach is a little further than I'd anticipated, and I was glad my almost 3 year old could usually do it on her own - a year ago it would have been too far for her. Worked well for us, but would be even better for a family with slightly older kids who can comfortably walk longer distances/help carry beach stuff and would fully enjoy the teen space/game room on the ground level.

All the blankets, toys, boards, chairs, umbrellas coolers, ice packs, etc. made it so nice not to have to buy or pack those things!

Property was just as listed with extra amenities, plenty of beach toys, indoor entertainment for rainy days, and stocked kitchen seasonings and some condiments passed along from previous renters. Inside was clean and has some recent updates, spiders outside were an annoyance. Short walk to the beach, outdoor shower and hose to rinse off with. Overall we had a great time!

The house was very clean and affordable for our family of 8. Wish it was a hair closer to the beach….dragging stuff for 6 kids. Lol. However, everything we needed was there. All the blankets, toys, boards, chairs, umbrellas coolers, ice packs, etc. made it so nice not to have to buy or pack those things!

This was a great house for us! It is well equipped for cooking and vacation fun! The house had so many cooking staples stocked plus it had a ton of beach supplies! We didn't need to bring about a quarter of the things we did. We brought 5 teens aged 15-18 and there was plenty of space and entertainment for them. The three younger teens made the downstairs their hangout space. It was wonder to have the full bath upstairs, the 3/4 bath on the lower level and of course the incredible outdoor shower with tons of space. You are close to the beach and sound. Any questions we had prior and during the stay were answered promptly and with an abundance of politeness or concern. Our family was looking for a laid back beach vacation to unwind and celebrate surviving a year of Covid schooling. Thank you for providing a perfect venue for that!

Dinner at Uncle Ike's in Corolla was awesome and Donutz on a stick in Duck was great too. We also loved walking the boardwalk in Duck with all of the lovely shops and restaurants. The beaches are so beautiful and the ocean offered us many waves for surfing and boogie boarding. We would love to return!

The space downstairs is perfect for chilling out after a long day on the surf. Had no issues the whole week and loved it. Would absolutely return

Wonderful Place
Everything is just as stated in the listing. The house really has many of the smaller amenities for you so it makes packing easier because you can travel with less. The 5 minute walk to the beach is super convenient and the close by shops make it a wonderful day out in town.

Great OBX Stay
We loved staying here for our weeklong vacation! Short walk to the beach access, lovely town of Duck, lots of extra amenities at the house (beach toys, chairs, umbrella, bikes, foosball, high chair, plush carpet). We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and reading while we were at the house. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. Our host was helpful & easy to communicate with. We definitely hope to return!

Incredible OBX vacation spot.
We absolutely loved our stay at this gem of a property. In addition to the very well equipped, clean, and comfortable home, the owners are fantastic. We had a small hiccup with the dishwasher malfunctioning. I texted and within minutes was on the phone with the property manager. They attempted to buy a new dishwasher but the store were out of stock. Unbelievably, they gave me the option of the owners replacing the dishwasher with the one from their own home!!! They arrived at 8 am the next day, provided some extra toys from their garage to my two year old daughter, and replaced the dishwasher. They are two of the kindest people you’ll meet and you can tell they really love and invest in their home. You can’t go wrong renting from them. We had a lovely vacation and spent almost every evening watching the sunset from the crows nest.
