Situated in Harwich, this charming house for $366 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Just off of Barnhill Rd on the way to popular Harding's Beach, this air conditioned, updated three bedroom house offers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere perfect for families or couples. Nestled down a private road in a quiet neighborhood of mostly seasonal homes,you will be only a short 4-5 minute stroll to Barn Hill town landing on the beautiful Oyster River. Although there is no swimming beach here, it does have a public boat ramp and is a nice place to just wander to and appreciate the scenery and tranquility. Kids will love going back day after day to poke around the shore looking for horseshoe crabs or watching the local shell fishermen bring in their day's catch. About a 15 minute walk, short bike ride or quick drive in the other direction is beautiful Harding's Beach with public facilities, lifeguards and a canteen truck. Other popular beaches, including fresh water ponds, are also close by. The home has a nice enclosed private deck with tables and chairs and a gas grill. And the adjacent brick patio offers some shade surrounded by a flowering cherry tree and perennial plantings. The house features a cozy living room with Roku TV and a DVD player. The updated kitchen with adjoining dining area also serves as additional living space with a spacious dining room table perfect for night time board games. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a nice island with bar stool seating. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other with a queen. The first floor bathroom was recently fully renovated Upstairs is a master bedroom with a king size bed, TV , small deck overlooking the patio, and full bath featuring a jacuzzi tub!! All bedrooms have ceiling fans. The livingroom also has a ceiling fan. Besides all of the various beaches, Chatham has plenty of other activities to offer....A couple of small museums, seal watching, fishing, public tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, great bike trails, golf, beach yoga, health and fitness club, kayaking, sailing .......... At night we have many restaurants from casual pizza or fried clams to fine dining. Chatham Anglers baseball under the lights at Veteran's Field, several summer concert series and the famous friday night Chatham Band concerts in Kate Gould Park. Possible day trips from Chatham might include the JFK Museum in Hyannis, Heritage Plantatioin Sandwich, Provincetown on the very tip of Cape Cod, Boston and all it's historical sights,(and Red Sox games), or take the ferry in neighboring Harwich to Nantucket. Owners are avid pickle ball players and would be happy to have you join us in a game!!

Four of us stayed at the house, with 2 dogs, while attending a local wedding. Cozy, comfortable, spotless and an easy location for most everything. Great walk to Hardings Beach and a town landing. Lovely host. Highly recommend.

The property owner was very nice and welcoming. The home was spotless, and I am a clean freak. We enjoyed how open the cottage was inside with lots of natural light from the skylights. Having said that the cottage still maintained one's privacy. The home has been kept updated throughout...like the baths, the deck and kitchen but still had a "Capey" Chatham feel.
The location was great as well only a short distance to Harding's Beach and close the Chatham Center.

We loved our stay. Bob is an attentive host and checked in to make sure everything was good. The house was very clean and well stocked. The location was close to everything we needed. I was a little confused because the listing said 3 baths, but one is an outdoor shower. If I'd read the listing closely, I would have realized that, so it was my fault. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. We would happily stay again on our next trip to the Cape.

The house is comfortable and roomy. There is plenty of room to gather together or to find a quiet corner. It's very clean and inviting. The owner is very friendly and helpful with out being intrusive. He met us when we arrived to make sure we had everything and to answer any questions. He checked in by text once or twice to make sure everything was good.
We hope to return next year.

This property was great for our small family getaway. It has a beautiful open kitchen and fenced in backyard that was perfect for our family dog. We also loved Harding’s Beach, just a short drive (or 15 minute walk) from the house.

Great house in Chatham near Hardings Beach
My husband and I have rented many properties over the years in the U.S. and abroad. This one was one of the nicest. The house was immaculate, and the layout worked out very well for us and our son and family who visited for a few nights. The house has a lot of natural light with both windows and skylights. The kitchen was spacious with an island with seating and a large table. We liked that the king bedroom and bath were upstairs and away from the other two bedrooms. The house is a five minute drive from Hardings beach or a 20 minute pleasant walk down Hardings Beach Road which is 5 minutes from the house. We like to bike but not on busy roads, so we drove 10 minutes to one of the parking areas for the Rail Trail which worked out fine.
We were happy that the owner, Bob Sneden, installed Split AC units in the house recently since the Cape can get muggy in the summer.
He was wonderful to work with, and kept in touch with us since we had to delay our stay by a day due to a hurricane. We look forward to staying here again.

Fantastic Property
We are long-term annual visitors to Chatham having stayed in many properties during our stay. This property was, by far, the best property. The house was immaculate and the location could not be better. The physical layout of the house is very good for families with older children because the master bedroom is on the second floor away from the other bedrooms which allows kids to stay up late without bothering the "older generation" who may want to go to bed earlier. There is very good outdoor space which makes eating outdoors very enjoyable. We give this property the highest marks!

Great stay in Chatham
Bob's property was great for a week in Chatham for our family. We were 6 adults with 2 dogs and we all enjoyed the large kitchen and living room, as well as the spacious outdoor area (fenced in to let the dogs roam)! It had all the kitchen tools we needed to cook and grill out and pretty clean. Bob was very responsive and a great host.

Cute, Comfortable and Great for Pets
We absolutely loved this house. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The fenced in patio in the back makes it perfect for pets. The kitchen also is well equipped with everything that you need. The owner, Bob, is exceptionally accommodating and accessible and really cares about making your stay a great one. Chatham and surrounding towns are wonderful with a lot to do even in the fall. We had a fabulous dinner at the Impudent Oyster with all COVID precautions in place. We will be back!

The house is located close to Main Street and Harding’s beach in Chatham with easy access to towns all over the cape. Bob was a super responsive host and made certain we had everything we needed for our week in Chatham.
The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and very true to the posted pictures. Location is perfect to get to all of the Chatham landmarks and downtown as well as day trips to Ptown and Wellfleet. It was also great for our 18lb pup to be off-leash in the gated backyard while we enjoyed the sun.

So comfortable and lovely
I chose Bob’s home because it appeared (and was) perfectly located, had a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor for my elderly mother (she had a choice of a room with two twin beds and another with a king bed), and welcomes dogs. I’d return in a heartbeat even if it was just me and my husband. The layout, light and outdoor space made for such a relaxing vacation week. Bob could not have been a more perfect host. He responded quickly to the few questions I had, resolved a minor TV issue immediately, and reached out to make sure all was well. We look forward to returning.

Perfect pandemic break!
Very clean and comfortable. Lovely fenced yard that we and our dog enjoyed. Close to the rail trail, the river for kayaking and a 15 minute walk to a beautiful beach.
