Situated in Melbourne, this lovely house for $226 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This 3 bedrm/1 bath is perfect for vacationing families, friends retreating to the beach, traveling business associates, snowbirds, wedding parties, college visits or a weekend away. This is a non smoking/vaping property or on the premises. COVID 19 : with every guest -extra cleanliness measures using bleach /alcohol based products to clean and disinfect highly trafficked hard surfaces such as knobs and handles. Large bottle of Disinfectant spray, packet of Lysol wipes, and large hand sanitizer , alcohol wipes and a mask provided with each reservations. -towels /blankets/sheets /pillow coverings are laundered with every stay -Pillows and mattresses are covered with allergy protected encasements You will enjoy the large yard, paved patio sail covered area and comforts of home in this quiet friendly neighborhood- one block in from RT 1 and 1.25 miles from downtown Melbourne and the Causeway. There are 3 bedrooms & a single to sleep 7. New tile and trim throughout, new bathroom and new kitchen! House was not ready at check in time had to wait a couple hours. House was very clean. We had a great month. Beaches, restaurants and stores were all close. Fenced in yard was great for our dog. Loved keyless entry until battery died and we were locked out. Waited about half hour for owner to get us in and change the battery. Even though we had a few issues Melissa always responded and tried to fix them. We would rent there again. Thank you Melissa for a wonderful month.

The house was clean. We enjoyed having a backyard and that we were allowed to have our pet. It was nice how close it was to the beach. The decor was modern and the home was cozy. The only complaint I have is the ac is locked. It got too cool at night but I was able to find a blanket in the extra bedroom.

Melissa is a gem!
I tried several times to leave a review with VRBO. I'm hoping this time it works and doesn't kick me out.
Melissa is wonderful, accommodating, and responsive to all needs. I couldn't ask for a better "landlord". We stayed 2 months while we searched for a home in the area. The yard was great for our dogs, and in-house laundry was appreciated. The home had everything we needed for that lengthy stay, and it was VERY clean. I also recommend Melissa's Sea Glass class by the sea.
Thank you, Melissa and Brian. (VRBO, this is the last time I'm trying! I wrote longer reviews last time but I'm tired of trying, especially since I am trying to pack and move into a new home!)

We were coming to town to visit family. The cottage was perfect for our stay. We were close enough to everything we wanted to do and the house was clean and comfy.

We needed a rental property to stay at while we were waiting to buy our home with our two dogs. Everything was beyond perfect! This home has everything you need & more! We even needed to extend our stay and it wasn’t a problem at all! We would definitely recommend this home!

We had to rent this property due to a delay in or settlement to buy our new home . What a wonderful and pleasant experience for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. Quiet neighborhood with very nice neighbors! Property is clean and spacious! Very comfortable. You’ll feel right at home!

Clean house in a quiet neighborhood with prompt communication!
Melissa promptly responded to all of my questions regarding check in and amenities at the house. The fenced in backyard was nice to sit outside and was private. We appreciated the chalk board with recommendations of where to eat. The beds were comfortable as well as the couch in the living room. Both of the de-humidifiers were full when we got there but I emptied them. The bedroom off of the washer/dryer room does not seem to be connected to the central air for the rest of the house. It has a window a/c unit which we used but that bedroom felt a little musty compared to the rest of the house. We would stay here again. It's centrally located in Melbourne.

A Total Gem
This home is, as my title mentions, a gem in Melbourne. We arrived from Canada, along with our infant daughter, and everything was perfect for our needs during the full month that we stayed.
The location is quite good. You are a very short drive from the ocean, or local supermarkets, restaurants, etc.
The home was clean, well renovated inside, and well decorated. The wifi was always reliable - a key point for me to mention, as I was able to work from the house throughout the month.
A special mention is deserved for the owner herself, as we found her a pleasure to deal with. She was generous and responsive! She helped us by providing a stroller and pack & play for our baby (we didn't have room for things like that during the drive down). We also got to know some of the neighbours on the street, which is a testimony to the area, and they know the owner as well.
I would not hesitate to consider staying here again in the event that our travels ever brought us to Melbourne again.

Home Away from Home
We spent 2.5 months at this adorable rental and it was perfect! The house is clean and met all our needs. We loved that it was so close to downtown Melbourne and close to Gleason park and the beach. The neighborhood is quiet with nice neighbors. The decor in the home is adorable. But beyond the great home/location, the owner was a blessing to work with. We stayed at the rental as Hurricane Dorian was projected to arrive in Florida. The owner remained in contact and answered all our questions. In addition to that, the owner was kind and knowledgeable about the area. This little rental is a treasure. And we are so thankful for our time there. We highly recommend.

AWESOME PLACE. AWESOME FAMILY TIME
We gathered here to spend some much needed family time together for a few day. It was a last minute trip and we were actually surprised to find this place available over the July 4th holiday. We celebrated the 4th and a couple of birthdays. Being able to rent this place for our gathering was what made it all possible. Everything was clean and just like the pictures we saw online. The only suggestion we would have would be to add a BBQ grill. You will not be disappointed with place. Plus she left a cute little welcome bag that has some amazing little products in it. That was just a little bonus. Thank you so much for the hospitality and availability for the wonderful time we had. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful remodel and close to the island
The house was perfect for our family's stay. It had a great location to the island and was wonderfully remodeled. The managers even left us a welcome package with some necesscities and a little bag that was very useful. They also ifferes a flexible check-in time. I would stay again and recommend this property to friends and family.

The only things lacking were dishwasher and laundry detergent which we easily bought at the nearby Publix. The beds were comfortable in this cleverly decorated beach-themed house. It was well stocked with bath towels and dishes as well. We appreciated the small touches such as the guest basket of toiletries and Melissa’s friendly welcome!

clean, efficient, quiet neighborhood. Had trouble figuring out which wall switches did what. Some I never did. water pressure is low in the shower, but the water heater works great. Easy access to barrier island beaches within a few miles.

Nice place to stay :)
My family spent a week at this property in February 2019. It's in a great convenient location, neighbors were friendly, owners were prompt in their replies, the house is pleasantly done, and the bathroom was actually nicer than the one in the hotel we stayed at on the drive down. The only quibble I can think of is the kitchen chairs are a bit shaky (we had our boys eat at the bar instead).
Overall a pleasant experience and we would happily stay there again next year. Highly recommend for families.

This is a super cozy and clean cottage type home. We almost bypassed it, when looking at the pictures of the outside (we have high standards). I am thankful we did not, because upon opening the front door, you walk into this sweet adorable very clean home and the decor is just enough, as well. My family and I definitely cook in the kitchens, as we eat local and fresh organic food. Having said this, the kitchen was well stocked, and accommodated big breakfast lunch and dinners, for our family. The living room offers two sofas, and even better a television with direct tv and Netflix, which was our favorite gathering space in the home, and theres barstools looking into the kitchen, and the open design allowed for us all to be together. The bathroom was spacious and very clean towels, for our use. The home offers two queen bedrooms one one end of the home, one with a tv and direct tv, as well. On the other end of the home offers the 3rd bedroom, with a futon ( our daughter and her 3 children, all slept in there and was super happy with the privacy). Outside this bedroom, is the laundry area with a very good working washer and dryer. The home offers a fenced in back yard, as well. The owners of the home, quickly responded to all my emails prior to our arrival, and was so very accommodating to us, as well. My family and I traveled down for a wedding and extended our trip to spend time in the sun. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Theres a sweet little guest book, and I actually found myself reading through the past guests comments ( I do read, as I am a doctor) but to take the time to sit and read the book, was special and I found one of my granddaughters made an entry. Truly, by reading my review, its easy to see how much we enjoyed our stay here. Thank you Bryan and Melissa well done!
