HEAVENLY VIEW At our lake house, you can relax on a wrap around deck, gazebo or waterfront deck...all with views of Lake Bomoseen’s pristine clear waters. Go fishing, take a swim or just relax from our private dock. There is a picnic table and outdoor gas grill on the deck. Or just relax in the gazebo or around the fire pit. The main level in the house has an open floor plan that integrates kitchen, dining, and living room space. It has one bedroom (queen) and full bathroom. The second level has three bedrooms (1 king, 1 double, 2 twins/1 king) and one full bathroom. All bedrooms have lake views. Brand new deck and private outdoor shower, with changing area. RENTAL INFORMATION The 2022 rentals for this property include the summer season (May 20 - September 7 ), and fall season (September 8 - October 16). Amenities Gas grill, with grilling utensils Fully equipped kitchen, including refrigerator, dishwasher, gas oven/stove, coffee maker, blender, microwave, and much more. Large wrap around deck, with seating for 6 at patio table. Stayed here over labor day weekend with some friends. We were here to celebrate our friends wedding. The house was perfect, the area was amazing. Some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises I have ever seen. Rick was always available and responded quickly to any questions we may have had. I would definitely return.

It did make me nervous to constantly be crossing the road with a 6 and 9 year old, and we got a workout going up and down the many flights each time a kit forgot something back at the house or had to use the bathroom! The house layout was great, very roomy and comfy, and the new deck a terrific improvement. The kitchen cabinets could have used more cleaning--we decided to leave our food on the counter.

The property is fantastic with lots of homey touches and all the necessities, great location with lake access and privacy, plus excellent hosts that provided clear communication and lots of thoughtful detail. Already dreaming about booking again next year!

The property was as described in the listing - very roomy and comfortable for a family of four. The kitchen was well stocked. Bedrooms were comfortable. Bathrooms had plenty of hooks to hang towels.
Although the lake is large and has a fair amount of motorized boat traffic, it was relatively quiet. I expected it would be noisier once I saw its size. The water was clean and surprisingly warm. The outdoor shower was new, well designed and had great water pressure. The deck and dock across the street were nice. The amount of stairs and the street were as described. The street was not busy and easy to cross but it is narrow and has limited visibility. Not a street that would be safe to run or walk down. However, there is a nice running/walking path across from the Castleton Community Center for those who need to get out for exercise.
There are water toys and a canoe for guests to use. Child sized lifejackets were available but adults would need to bring their own or rent from the marina down the street.
Overall, it was a nice place to stay and we would stay there if in the area again.

Early summer vacation
Everything was great and we enjoyed our time at the lake very much. Owner Rick was very responsive to any minor issues. The house was well-stocked and comfortable.
The only downside was that the house is across the road from the private dock, so crossing the street was required (listing and photos do show this). However, the road was not super busy, you just had to look and cross carefully.
We really enjoyed sittting on the dock and deck are to enjoy the lake. We had brought our own tubes, but 2 were provided on the deck

Perfect getaway
Our family went up to Heavenly View to escape the crazy tourist season on Cape Cod. It was perfect! There was nothing that we had wished was at the house that wasn’t there. It’s the perfect life long memory spot for family and or friends to relax for a week or so! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will be back.

We all had a wonderful time and the homeowners did a great job making us feel welcome. Everything you would need for a great week on the lake is right there in the house ready to go.
Rick was very responsive and helpful.
The only negatives would be the driveway and all the stairs. It didn’t bother us.. But anyone with a small car or any physical limitations this is not the place for them

Beautiful lake and area
We had a really great time at the lake. It's great swimming with beautiful clear water. The house was always nice and cool and a pleasant atmosphere. One drawback was the amount of steps you have to take to the dock and the fact that I don't remember anywhere in the original description that the there is a pretty busy paved road between the house and lake. I would not recommend preteens as there is no beach area, it gets deep fast, and the busy road, but the dock was great for jumping in. I feel they should also replace the frying pans with better quality. The driveway's a bit steep as well for more than one vehicle. One of the bedrooms could use a spruce up with a better bed, but the others were very nice. All in all, I would stay there again.

House on Lake Bomoseen
My husband, my daughter, her husband, their 20-month old son, and I spent a week at this house. It is in a good location and is well-maintained. The owner is very responsive and was easy to communicate with. The kitchen had everything you might need. The lake is beautiful, and we enjoyed canoeing on it and swimming in it. There is a very nice park and beach on the opposite side of the lake (a short drive) and there is a small swimming area just down the road, which was nice for the toddler.
While the house is definitely lakefront, there is a 2 lane road between the house and the deck/dock that you can't see in the pictures. The road is easy to cross, and the traffic is very light.

Great vacation house!
Very spacious and everything you would need is provided. Loved the gazebo! Spent a fair amount of time in the gazebo due to the rainy days we had the beginning of the week. I do feel it s only fair to comment that the pictures on line don’t quite show the full picture......ie....... it doesn’t really show how many stairs you really have to go down to get to the water,, ( there are a fair amount of steep stairs on the side of the house you have to go down first, not shown) and also not shown is the busy road you have to cross to get to the water. Once you do get down there it’s absolutely gorgeous The deck to sit on is awesome, the view is amazing from the house and from the deck on the water. We loved it here but we were just surprised by the # of stairs and the road to the water. All in all, loved it here......TK and Lani

My family and I had such a nice time here at Heavenly View.
The house was equipped with everything we could need to make it easy and carefree. Lovely view, quiet and just what this family needed!! We will be back

Perfect Vacation !!
I would like to share with anyone who is interested about a wonderful lake vacation house. You can see the entire main lake from inside the living room or standing on the wrap around deck just outside the front door. The morning sunrise is spectacular. There was ample space for my family (six adults) also including my two small grandchildren.
The dock was easily accessible and my family had a great time swimming and fishing there. I recommend this rental to anyone wishing to enjoy a beautiful scenic get away with privacy. We appreciate working with Rick. He is very reasonable and accommodating.

It certainly was a Heavenly View!
We really enjoyed our stay at Heavenly View! The views were beautiful and if you are up at Sunrise you must check it out!! We enjoyed lounging off the dock, grilling on the deck, and playing games. The outdoor shower was a welcome addition.
We would definitely go back to the beautiful home again!

We loved the area!
The house was lovely, and roomy. Everything was clean, it had great kitchen and a wonderful deck overlooking the lake. We did have some small issues with the plumbing, but nothing too serious. One thing that was disappointing was that the listing on VRBO was a little misleading as to being able to use the canoe. It was very large, and there was really no place to put it in the lake on the property. Other than that we had a wonderful time! Thank you!
