During this time you will encounter active construction and noise, no parking garage access and stairs must be utilized. By accepting the lower rental rate you are agreeing to these terms*** **Sorry, pets are not permitted in this unit. Gorgeous beachfront condo in Pointe West! VITAMIN SEA features three bedrooms and two baths, this vacation residence is the perfect place to enjoy your Pointe West vacation. It is located on the first level which allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful beachfront view from the living or dining space in this open floor plan condo. A fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare a dinner and entertain guests at the same time. Our condo is just a short walk to the private Beach Club where you can take advantage of all the resort amenities. This condo offers: a king bedroom, a second king bedroom, and a third bedroom with two bunk beds- both twin over full- making this condo ideal for couples or two small families vacationing together Sleeps 9 comfortably. 2 High-Def LED TV's, WiFi, living room nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen, everything you need for a great vacation! A storage locker is provided with this unit. Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. You will have exclusive access to our private beach that is clean and groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. You are approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston and other great Galveston attractions. RESORT FEE: The Pointe West Beach Club, open year-round, is a privately owned/separate entity, offering resort style amenities for guest enjoyment. Per Beach Club regulations, a maximum of 3 guests per bedroom is allowed for amenity wristband purchases. The fee is $25 per person (ages 4 and up), per stay (not per day) should you wish to enjoy these amenities. The fee includes use of the Beach Club pool, the seasonally heated Bayside/lazy river pool, hot tubs, workout facility, basketball & pickle ball court. The Beach Club will directly email you an invoice for payment, should your party wish to purchase and enjoy the resort amenities. Once paid, you will pick up your amenity wristbands at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. *Please note their fees are non-refundable. For questions about the fee or amenities, please contact the Beach Club at Purchase of the resort amenity wristband is optional. **It is important to note that we manage the rental of your vacation home. We are not in charge of the community grounds, offered amenities, the pools, beach, elevators or restaurant. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: *Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 a.m. *You are welcome before check-in & after check-out to enjoy the beach and resort amenities if you have purchased Beach Club wristbands. *Please note that all condos are accessible by stairs or elevators. In the event that elevators are placed out of service, stairs will be required. There are no refunds or alternatives for access to your vacation rental. *Age Requirement is 26+ *No Prom, Graduation or High School groups are permitted even with chaperones, please! CANCELLATION POLICY: *31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased. *Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement. Great property rental at Point West Resort in Galveston! Great views of the gulf and the host provided everything we needed. We stay at a rental in this resort every summer. Loved everting about the property. Our only improve was that PW has increased the cost of the pool bands to $25 which is ridiculous. We just beached it for the two days we were there. Highly recommend!

Sadly the restaurant on site that we thought wuld be open was not, ac in gym was broke but other than fire alarm Goin off at 1am the rest was fine

This property was just perfect! Great privacy for a condo and very comfortable. I do recommend renting a golf cart so you can enjoy all of the beatiful property and amazing wildlife. This is our 4th or 5th stay at a Pointe West Property and we can't recommend the resort enough!

This 3 bedroom was perfect for our trip to the ocean. The decor is modern and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. The patio is huge and has a grill. It was about a 15 min walk to the pool, so we drove most of the time. Pointe west is about 30 minutes from Galveston, but we liked the relaxing uncrowded atmosphere. We ate at the restaurant several times and it was pretty good. The locker was well stocked with items for the beach. Would definitely stay again!

Beach getaway
Perfect for 2 families with young kids to get away from the city and work for a few days. Location is far from Galveston proper, but that helped with it being quiet and relaxing. The kids (1-6) loved the lazy river.

Also, getting into the door was a bit of a trick. After having difficulty, the owner was called and the problem was rectified. He sent out someone to change the battery on the door lock the next morning. We were told to put in the code and turn the handle...actually, you turn the lock, then turn the handle. Unfortunately, it rained all but 1 day the whole vacation. We walked the beaches anyway and were grateful when the sun came out the last day of our trip. It's remote and secluded. Not many people in other units while we were there in mid April. A small grocery is a few miles away. It's about a 30 minute drive to the seawall for restaurants and tourist activities. Had a great meal at Nate's Seafood about 15 minutes away and you can't beat Texas Pit Stop Barbeque anywhere in the world! Would definitely do this again!

Relaxing stay at Pointe West
The condo was awesome! Clean, secluded, private and with great views of beach and bay. The kitchen is fully stocked and the home provided everything promised. The staff at the beachclub office (pool access, bike rentals, cabana rentals etc.) was bossy and snippy. Thankfully you dont have to spend too much time in that office. The food at the pool bar/ restaurant is really good and fairly quick. Overall we had a great vacation and will be back :)

This property is a little farther than any other - great for distancing but it seemed the mosquitos were also much heavier.

Summer Vacation
Despite getting there the same day as a hurricane hit we had a great time. The condo was very clean, equipped with everything we needed plus some. I loved the balcony we spent lots of time out there. The beds were really comfortable and they had extra blankets and pillows which was very nice. We had a small issue with the grill but they sent the friendliest maintenance man within a few hours and he had it fixed. The elevator was broken when we arrived but fixed by the time we left. The only slight drawback was the walk to the beach. We had 8 people which meant lots of chairs, drinks, easy up, sand toys to haul and taking a wagon up and down the steps of the crossover was a lot of work. I’m very glad we had teenage boys to help or it probably wouldn’t have happened. We rented a golf cart from Rick’s and they were great and easy to work with. Overall we had a wonderful time and wished we could have states longer!

Vitamin Sea was perfect for our family. The condo was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. We love the beach but not the crowds so the location was absolutely perfect for us.

Amazing trip
This condo is beautiful and well maintained! It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and cooking utensils which made it easy for us to cook. The view from both porches is excellent. I will definitely stay here again. We've stayed at 4 condos in the complex so far and this is my favorite.

Just What the Doctor Ordered
This was a perfect getaway for our family! The condo was great and we were able to bring our Yorkie rescue, Megan Markle, with us. Now you know where Megan Markle spent the last few days!!!

Spring Break 2020
This was our first time to stay at pointe West. It turned out to be a great week. The location is excellent, the weather was good and the facility had great amenities that we all enjoyed. It was a short walk from the condo to the pool and the beach. We will definitely be going back for another vacation.

Location! Location! Location!
The apartment was very clean and nice. I love how they even keep some spices and supplies people leave behind. Most leave you nothing but the bare essentials. The balcony is wonderful although the grill would not work so we had to use the outdoor grill far away on the property and full of mosquitos.
We read wayyyy too much into the “short” walk to the beach. None of us felt like an 8-10 minute walk is short. It’s also way too far away from the resort amenities. We didn’t get the one thing we wanted over anything which is a short walk to the beach and pool. You have to walk a long way to even get to the bridge that leads to the beach. The bridge is very very long! If you want to go to the resort you might as well drive. It’s not a resort to take the elevator down to the beach, pool, and other amenities. If all you care about is a super nice place to stay and the sounds of waves on your balcony this is the place for you. If you plan on going to the beach & pool often, keep looking!
I’ve never had to contact the property manager at other vacations but we had some trouble with the fridge and grill and Karen was very good to text back. The family we came with thought we were staying 4 nights instead of 3 and Karen was very good to help us with that too! Thanks, Karen!! :)

Family Vacation 2018
This was our first time to stay at Pointe West on Galveston Island. It is a completely different experience on the west end. It is so peaceful and relaxing.
The condo was perfect for our family. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family.

Vitamin Sea Rental
We were very pleased with the accommodations at Vitamin Sea. Everyone had a great time. There were a couple of things that were disappointing. The elevator was not working when we arrived. My wife has a hard time walking up stairs so, that was a problem. I'm glad we weren't on the third floor. Also, the chairs in the storage area were nasty, rusted and dirty. I suggest throwing them all away. The elevator at the swimming pool was not working either for our entire stay.

FIRST CLASS PLACE !!
I can say without any reservations that everything about this beautiful condo was first truly first class. The condo really did exceed our expectations. It was extremely well decorated and comfortable. One of the things we noticed is that they did not use cheap furniture or lesser decor. The view from the balcony is outstanding and very relaxing. The view is even better than the photos. The elevator was a blessing for my knees and made arrival and departure so much easier. The Master bed was extremely comfortable and the Master bath was very clean. Overall the condo was very clean and well stocked. The washer and dryer came in very handy as we were able to wash our clothes every day. All of the amenities were great, plenty of pots and pans, dishes, silverware etc. The downstairs storage cage was full of beach stuff for the kids. It had beach umbrella's, water toys, buckets and shovels for building sandcastles, everything you will need for the beach. I recommend this property for anyone who enjoys a great view of the beach, very comfortable accommodations and easy access to the beach.

Great Weekend Getaway
This was our second visit to Pointe West and our first stay at Vitamin Sea. The place was perfect for our family of six. We had a very nice stay and we will definitely return. We highly recommend this place!

VERY NICE PROPERTY

Great Place!
Bright cheery and comfortable condo that has a great view of the Gulf. The condo was very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed having both the pool and beach to enjoy during our stay. This was a wonderful get away. We all agreed we will definitely come back and stay here again!

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay!
Our family of 6 loved our stay here! There was plenty of room and the condo was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The view is amazing and you can't beat the proximity to the beach. Our trip was perfect and we will be back!

Highly Reccomend
What a great place! Spectacular views, clean, & comfortable beds. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Our family of 7 had plenty of room and never felt cramped. We have found our new getaway home on Galveston Island.
