Location next to ferry and short walk to village/train station. Fresh lake air, clean drinkable tap water(!), pretty views out of the windows, relatively peaceful and scenic place. Comes with kitchen and washer/dryer. Split system AC makes summer heat bearable.
Hard to get a reservation at few good local eateries. No pool or other swimming option. Ferries English instructions were barely legible.

It is good size for a family of four to five people. Well equipt kitchen with dishwasher and there is also a washing machine. It has perfect location. Possible to park the car in private garage close by. And then the view over the lake is fantastic!!!

Hosts were fantastic. Location was perfect. Loved the views!
Hot water stopped working on 2nd day. Spent half the day trying to get it to work so I could shower. Cups and glasses were chipped. Not many glasses. Hard to uses appliances because only one converter plug. Table on balcony not sturdy enough to put anything on it.

wonderful location overlooking the lake. The communication with the owners was really good , and it was nice being met when we arrived.
we had a small problem with the hot water which was very speedily sorted. The air con was efficient and the apartment had everything we needed. It was really clean and comfortable.

Excellent location close to the ferry and overlooking the lake. Both Alberto and Giorgio were very accommodating and helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Great location - amazing views on the lake and right next to the ferry! Many good restaurants within 5 min walk. Beach nearby as well. Comfortable apartment with good beds, well equipped kitchen and proper AC! Highly recommended.

Everything, especially the two separate air conditions in the apartament, washing mashine and the dryer :) comfortable beds, carying and friendly host! and location (very close to the ferry and train station, quaiet (no noise of the trains) and the wiew!! stunning.
there was no hot water one morning, but the host promptly sent a solution and the problem was solved.

fantastic location right at the harbour in Varenna. this is a beautiful old apartment perfect for a couple of nights to explore Varenna. The owners were great and came to meet us to help park

Very convenient - an easy walk to the station , the shops , restaurants and ferry . The apartment was very clean , spacious and comfortable. It met all our requirements and has a fully equipped kitchen including washing and drying facilities. The apartment has a balcony with a stunning view of the lake and surrounding areas . The hosts Georgio and Alberto were extremely hospitable and friendly who could not do enough for us . They were amazing !! They went above and beyond in many ways for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our only negative was we wished we could have stayed much longer . We highly recommend this apartment .

Great Location with a beautiful view of the Lake. This was my second time staying at this apartment.
The host are extremely helpful with meeting you, having a guide book to help operate the appliances and numbers to help you locate services.
Their son met us at the train station and helped us with our luggage. He also made arrangements for us to return to Milan airport with a Taxi service.
The bed mattresses need to be more comfortable, they are too hard.

Outsanding view and location facy the Varenna ferry port and playground. Extremely nice and welcoming hosts. Great advice and kind flexibility. Small terrace much appreciated. Baby cot and extra bed

Very good location, nice view from balcony, friendly owner.
Nice view from balcony so want to be all the time there so maybe can be better furniture, but its not so important.
