The home was perfect for the two of us. We liked the master suite in the loft even though there were no window coverings. The home is just far enough out of town to give some nice privacy. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck on the nice days and sitting in front of the fireplace in the great room on the cool mornings.

We stayed for a four day weekend, visited Glacier and caught some live music in Whitefish. Cabin was very nice, spacious, clean, had all the bells and whistles. All the windows were great except for early in the morning when the sun comes beaming through. All in all would recommend this cabin, and would definitely return.

Got to experience the gorgeous views of Flathead lake, the wild deer in the yard, privacy and no neighbors, a game of pool, and enjoy the sun in the morning on the deck. This place was a wonderful experience!

We had a only 2 nights here but it was fabulous. The house was immaculate, everything was of the highest quality, it was beautifully furnished and comfortable. It is set back from the lake so if you don't want to drive down expect a 45 mins walk. For us that was fine and it means you only share the house with the deer and birds as it is surrounded by trees. A wonderful place and if we lived in USA we'd be back.

A very nice perch up in the forest outside of Lakeside MT (Flathead Lake). Front porch is a great place to unwind after Glacier, also great for a few beverages. I have a couple minor complaints but nothing worth listing here. Good spot and good value for the $.

I feel honest reviews are very important. Just because a reviewer says something didn't work for their family, doesn't necessarily mean it won't work for another family. But, by stating everything they experienced, it gives honest feedback that others can use to decide.
Pros: This cabin is in the middle of trees with a little view of Flathead lake. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Neighbors were there, but you couldn't see them because of the trees. The kids had room to run around and play outside and there were deer (a mother and her babies) and turkeys. The cabin is spacious and fairly clean. (About as clean as a rented home is in the middle of the busy season.)
Cons: 1. There are absolutely no curtains or blinds on any of the windows. None. Like completely none. And being so far north, it doesn't start to get dark until 10:00 and it gets light at 5:00. We were stuffing whatever we could find in the windows so the kids could sleep. If you have young children, you may want to be aware of this. The bathrooms do not have blinds either. Yes, there seemed to be no one around, but it really upset my older kids. They took showers without the lights on. Owners of this home: buy some blinds, please!
2. There is only one TV and it is in a small TV room. We are not TV people, at all. However, after a day of hiking our youngest wanted to watch something and wanted us to watch it with him. 6 people do not fit, nor are there seats for 6 people in the TV room. Another TV somewhere more family friendly in the home would be nice.
3. The basement is odd. It is full of antique furniture and items that say do not touch. The pool table is great, but as our 12 year old said: I don't think they really want us down here.
For adults, I'm sure it is fine. For kids, they didn't spend much time down there. It really wasn't family friendly.
4. We let a few of our kids sleep in the loft. Every step they took, every sneeze, every whisper, every time they set their can of pringles on the ground, we heard it. Again, if you have young children, this could be a problem.
So would we consider this house again? Yes we would. However, as a family, we would probably look for something else first. Maybe something else that fit our needs a little better. If this house would become a little more family friendly, it would be a keeper for sure.

It is very close to Lakeside and Flathead Lake. There were some issues with the home but none that couldn't be overlooked. We will probably stay on the lake next time we visit.

Beautiful home in the woods

This is home is beautiful and could be 5 star with some tweaking. It is very spacious and decorated well. During our stay the home was not clean enough. It needed to be swept and needed a good cleaning. The kitchen cabinets need to be wiped,the dining table was sticky and had some crumbs on it and the fridge needed to be wiped down. I don't believe it was cleaned to new Covid standards so we wiped everything down. We like to cook so we were disappointed to find old,outdated and damaged cookware. The "nonstick Teflon " pans are so scratched that every single thing we cooked in it sticked. If they fix those two things you have a 5 star home. The home sits on a hill and has plenty of deer and wild turkeys that visit. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

September trip
Everything was better than expected.... location, amenities, cleanliness, ease of check in/out, everything! We loved our week here. I’ve already recommended it to my niece and nephew who will be in the area at the end of the month.

This is close enough to GNP that we went nearly every day. The drive is beautiful.

The house is newish and I was fascinated by the construction of the place which is almost completely out of logs. It is equipped with just about anything you could need and we were very impressed by the cleanliness and the little touches that a company like Vacasa brings to a rental like this. The bottom line is that we feel we got a really good deal for our money.

Perfect Birthday Get Away
Loved our weekend at this home. It was for my husbands 55th birthday. Ryan the property manager drove an hour away to come and help us with the fireplace. Incredible customer service with Vacasa. He was the best. The steam shower and the soaking tub were the highlight. We were greeted by deer and sent off by deer. You do have a small view of the lake if you really look through the trees, otherwise you are in a pretty wooded property.
A couple of things to note. The stairs are log and could be an issue for young kids or elderly to go up and down, not sure if its that they are steeper or just shorter in width. There is no T.V. in the big living room area or the downstairs game room. Its in what looks like to be what could be a small bedroom with no closet. It a great size t.v. but seating is a love seat and a chair. So if this is important to you it it may be an issue. It was just the two of us so not a big deal but it would have been nice to have the t.v. by the fireplace or in the game room instead.
