We loved everything about this rental. The house is comfortable and clean, and well thought out for our extended family to stay together. The view from the sunroom is the perfect way to wake up each morning, and i would highly recommend this cottage. Park Corner is a beautiful area on a beautiful island. Ron and Jackie were quick to answer questions, and they provided all of our essentials. Would love to come back someday!

If I had to offer any constructive criticism, I would recommend that the BBQ be replaced - the starter did not work, making it quite challenging to light (even with a BBQ lighter) and the heat shields were rusting through. Wifi was fast, and selection of channels on the TV was great for those rainy days. Overall, the cottage was comfortable and lovely, and made for a great post-lockdown vacation!

We love this location, property and the owners are great. Last year, our stay prompted us to book again this year. The location, views, beach cleanliness and sun porch really are fantastic for recharging. This year we arrived with what was left of hurricane Dorion (2019). We can truthfully say that the house is more than capable of sustaining 100+ km/hr winds. The owners were great, once again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped for dining at home and spending time on the beach--toys, chairs, etc. Cousin's Shore is a perfect beach especially for young children. We loved the sunroom for morning coffee and evening sunsets.

Overall this is a great option for folks who want to relax and enjoy a great view of the ocean and the small Cousins Shore cottage community. It's a very quiet location, a short 5 minute walk to a lovely beach. The community is generally a friendly one although we got the impression that some of the owning neighbors don't really like having renters around them. Regardless, this wasn't a problem as they could see we were respectful and quiet. It's more an observation than anything else. The cottage itself is well appointed, we didn't need for anything aside from our groceries. The larger deck is great, furniture is comfortable and the front sunroom is just wonderful, the best of the cottage's features. This is a very comfortable cottage (mattresses were fantastic) and I'd definitely recommend it.

All the comforts of home....and a beach!! My family had a wonderful week in PEI, lots of running about in the daytime, so having the beach house to ease us into each day and to rest in after the day's touring was done. was exactly what we needed. The home is fully equipped, we just brought groceries that we picked up en route. The beds were all comfortable, I didn't hear a single complaint, and instead of bunk beds in the main floor bedroom there are now a double and a single. The only thing I missed was the leather armchair in the master bedroom, which has been removed. I would definitely recommend vacationers to consider this house for your PEI holiday rental. The rental process was a breeze too! Thanks, Ron, for making it so easy!

We recently stayed at this property and was perfect start to finish- it was very well equipped and all we had to do was show up. The central location was extremely convenient and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway! We will return in the near future

The cottage is very comfortable, where everything has been thought of, from beach toys to hair dryers and waffle irons. There are porches where one can enjoy the sun from any direction, There is natural beauty, the beach, the shore, the sky, and when you return to the cottage there is a fragrant rose bush by the front entrance, privacy - should you want it, always a lovely breeze (therefore hardly any bugs!), pleasant meals to be had, either "at home" or at an island restaurant. We had a great time!

The Beachhouse was just beautiful ! It was spacious and immaculate and decorated so nicely ! The whole time I was there I was wishing that the Beachhouse belonged to me ! We felt so at home there ! Well equipped and everything you need for a wonderful vacation ! The view from the house was spectacular !

Shared this cottage with other family for a week. We enjoyed its location (views of water, easy proximity to Kensington & Summerside & Cavendish) and found it spacious and amenable to be shared with adults and kids and a large breed dog! Upon arrival (tricky - see my note below about directions) we found the cottage to be clean as clean could be -- very impressive. The cottage is very well stocked with kitchen items (implements, pots/pans, small appliances), food stuffs (oils, seasonings, etc), recreational items (ie beach chairs and towels, kayaks, etc), and the necessities to get by for a week or two (laundry facilities and soap, extra linens, games). It was the best stocked cottage we've ever rented. It would have been nice to have some portable fans for the hotter evenings (in the rooms away from wind) but the ceiling fans throughout the cottage were a total asset. Unfortunately the private beach experience was limited to enjoying the sand and views due to an abundance of stinging red jellyfish -- but it was great to have this beach and I'm sure it can be enjoyed more fully at other times of year! The sweeping lawns of the cottage also provided great space for children to play and the deck and sunroom gave us adults plenty of lounging options. There was plenty of space for all! Directions to get to the cottage were a bit lacking, as it's not at all clear what of the access roads to take or what lot # the cottage actually is (the VRBO "lot 20" is incorrect). We also were surprised that there were no instructions left for us at the cottage (ie what to use/not use, house details like putting out garbage, drinking the water, or rules/courtesies) -- but the phone call from the owners on day 2 to ensure we had what we needed was likely meant to cover this off. Otherwise, we used common sense and were as civil as you can be when renting a cottage adjacent to others. There are dozens of cottages around this one, but the way they're scattered and spaced makes it so that you're really not on top of one another at all! Overall, a really great cottage rental to which we would happily return in the future. Beautiful location, tremendous views, and a spacious and flexible layout for family and friends to share.

The cottage was perfect for our family of three generations. Everything we could have asked for was there and more. The owners have thought of everything. The beach is quite secluded and lovely. Only thing we didn't like was leaving.

Our family just spent several wonderful days in park corner at this charming home. It was well appointed having anything we needed (and more) and had a spectacular view! The front sun room was a particular favorite and we literally had the beach almost entirely to ourselves (minus 2-5 people each day that strolled around a short time then left). So very peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommend it!!! Would so like to return again one day!! Thank for sharing this delightful piece of paradise!

Absolutely everything you need included in this well furnished beautiful home. Just bring your food. Beautiful sunsets and lovely beach.

Upon arrival we immediately knew we had made the right choice - the house is immaculate, everything you could want or need, the beach is so wonderful, and the whole vacation home community was so peaceful. We went to the beach everyday, even the grey days, we did family art around the big kitchen table, we sat on the deck and the wind kept the bugs at bay, the one chilly, rainy night we put the fire on and listened to music, we sat in the sun room in the morning and drank our coffee and drank in the view. We had a campfire, we read books, we flied kites, had a catch, slept in, got up early, ate great food, we never used the television once - one week was not enough. Kensington is a hop away for groceries and supplies, Cavendish is right there to fulfill any tourist needs - BUT WHY WOULD YOU GO - the beach here is 1000X's better and we would regularly comment "WHOA beach is packed today!" - with all 50 other people. I kayaked one of the calm days and saw a flower pot (similar to Fundy) to the left and so we hiked/swam around the point to get a closer look and it was a great little adventure. NEW POTATOES!!!!! Stop at the little veg stands (have cash) and definitely, definitely buy some strawberry and grand marnier jam from the PEI Preserve Company to have on your morning toast. We would go back tomorrow!!!

We just came back from a week at Ron & Jackie's beach house and it was phenomenal. The house was very well equipped and in incredibly good condition, and so clean! The beach that it is on is fairly private, never crowded and has a little river going through it used as a wading pool for kids. We were 5 adults and two young kids (2 and 7 months) and we had tons of space. Lots of outdoor space as well. We would definitely come back again!
