Weather perfect. The oven was a problem as we were able to use it as it did not work. The option that they provided to us was not acceptable it did not cook as an oven would have. We would of lined a tv I. The gathering area to watch sports. Having the tv up stairs was inconvenient to our family. The house it’s self was wonderful. Hope the oven gets fixed before other book this house

Beautiful setting, beautiful home needs some minor improvements.
Bottom outside front step is hazardous.
All Towels are tired and need to be replaced.
Several coffee cups chipped.
Refrigerator door doesn’t close appropriately, close 1 door and the other door opened.
Unable to prepare planned meals, due to oven not functioning, although the owner did make us
aware of it the day before our arrival. Didn’t provide soap for showering. Accustomed to soap provided at previous VRBOS we stayed at.

We loved our stay in this beautiful, clean, and comfortable house! Plenty of room for everyone, comfortable beds, and lots of amenities. We were especially happy to find the high chair for our grandson!

We have been coming to Door County with our extended family for over 20 years. This is the first time we stayed at this property. The home was well maintained and exceeded our expectations. The location was centralized located which gave us easy access to the entire pennisula. We would highly recommend staying at this property.

We spent a week at this property with four friends. We are all “seniors”. The property is spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect to access Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay and Bailey’s Harbor. Our only suggestion is to be a bit more generous with sticking supplies. We had to buy garbage bags, dishwasher soap, toilet paper and laundry soap during our stay-which is inconvenient and expensive. Our host did offer to reimburse us for garbage bags. We have not had this happen in the numerous VRBO’s we have visited. However, it is still a beautiful property in a great location.

Peaceful and private yet centrally located near everything that is Door County ♥️

We enjoyed our 7-day stay in Door County at this home. The location was great - very short (<5 minute) drive into Fish Creek for shopping and food. We appreciated the games, puzzles, and book selection, both for adults and our two children (ages 3 and 5). The home was exceptionally clean and the huge laundry room with mud room was a huge bonus!

Ample room for everyone in our group of seven. I especially enjoyed listening to the breeze rustling through the trees and the quietness of the area. Great getaway!

Very comfy and spacious. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Lication is close to Fish Creek, shopping and golf ( which we enjoy at Pennisula state park). Our family has been there 2 times and we're looking forward to returning May/June 2024

This was a beautiful place for a Door County getaway! Quiet and peaceful property but very close to all the sights! There was plenty of room for all 7 adults in our party to gather and enjoy each other!

We had a wonderful time at this awesome property. Huge great room (including kitchen, dining, and living room areas) was great for our larger group to all be comfortably together and enjoy each other's company. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Excellent location as well. Very close to town, but yet a secluded feeling. We would definitely stay here again, if in the area.

We loved this place. Great location with great windows that brought in natural light. Loved the character of the place and space. Was a but buggy so we were not able to enjoy the outdoors and fire pit. Host were very responsive with a few issues that came up. Best compliment we can give. Asked the little ones and they want to stay here again next year. They had a hard time leaving!

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful home. The owner was easy to work with and addressed any questions we had. Our party had 7 family members including an 8 year old and a 14 year old. They loved spending time in the loft and watching the videos available. The house has many nice sitting areas for visiting. We spent time on the big deck every night. Seeing fireflies was exciting for our grandchildren. We did a lot of activities in Door County and coming back to this house to unwind in the evening was just what our family needed. There is nothing you need to bring as the home is well supplied. The beds were all comfortable with good mattresses. There is a grill on the deck which we used often. Everything was clean and in good working order in the house. The view from the large windows is beautiful. We appreciate the owners for sharing their home with us. We will recommend Five Birches to any friends who visit Door County.

This was our second time staying at the home - we travel to door county for Thanksgiving and the house is perfect for our extended family and cooking a big holiday meal. We love the space and the outdoor fire fit. House is in a great location to explore all the small towns.

The property was beautiful! The online photos did not do it justice, it was lovelier in person! The teens and younger boys really enjoyed the loft area that had plenty of games and the television! The adults loved it too because we had the living room to enjoy our conversations but were still able to see and hear the kiddos! The location was great, very central to different Door County activities!

The house and property is lovely. The owner was easy to communicate with and responsive.
Some basic items were in short supply but we found a wonderful little general market in town where we were able to gather our items. Would recommend.

We just got back after an extended weekend at Five Birches with some friends, and we couldn't be happier.
From the spectacular wall of windows that greets you when you walk in the front door, to the fully stocked kitchen that could accommodate multiple meals for 11 hungry adults, to the absolutely perfect location, Five Birches had everything we needed and more. And, when you're traveling with a group of eleven adults, that's almost impossible to come by!
We had a group of five staying at Five Birches, plus an additional six staying nearby. We used Five Birches as our "home base" for the group for the weekend. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms and ample room for our group of eleven.
We highly recommend Five Birches for your stay in Door County!

Everything you might need and more. Easy access and great proximity to Fish Creek. Being seniors, our only concern was that the showers were slippery and did not have any handrails. Well stocked except for missing dishwasher soap, which we purchased and left a few extras for the next occupants. Would highly recommend!

Our group was 5 girlfriends celebrating a birthday. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and secluded in the trees, but really close to everything in Fish Creek. Beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.
Communication with the owners was good. We would definitely recommend staying here!

This property is even better than described. Very spacious, fabulous fire pit area and so close to everything Fish Creek has to offer. The owners are lovely to work with. You will not regret your stay here!

My family loved our stay at Five Birches! It was absolutely beautiful and had every amenity you can think of! The cleanliness of the home was perfect. We took advantage of the back porch, the amazing fire pit and the grill. This place was great for kids- books, games, toys, and crayons were all welcome surprises! The beds were so comfortable and the master shower with double shower heads provided one of the best showers ever! I was also so thankful for all the clear and quick communication with the hosts- Todd was so friendly and very informative.
We definitely hope to plan another trip to Five Birches again!

Quality built spacious house nestled in the woods. Walking in the front door reveals extensive foyer, stunning floor to ceiling windows and stone fireplace overlooking cathedral trees. Large well equipped kitchen and laundry enhance first floor. Beautiful first floor master bedroom, bath, and walk-in closet welcome you.
If you are an avid reader this is the place for you, ample eclectic library, puzzles and games abound.
Upper level is just as spectacular with spacious open media area. Additional three large bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds on second level. For all those who need "white noise" as I do, each room is equipped with a small fan.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends, attentive owners quickly responded to any questions we had.

Excellent rental property! Very clean and well equipped. House is spacious with 4 good sized bedrooms and 3 full baths. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking any type of meal including a nice gas grill. No problem seating 10 for meals inside or out. Fire pit is a nice perk. Fast and easy communication with the owners. My one tip, with a large group, is to be sure to bring your own essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap. While these items are provided, you will need more for a week’s stay. Highly recommend this place. We plan to return!

My wife and I took our adult children to experience Door County. Staying at Five Birches wonderful. There's a large deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The house was clean, well furnished, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is a great place to gather to share stories of your days' adventures. Centrally located to just about any place you want to go to.

Loved the house! Spending the weekend is a memory we will enjoy forever. Our Only suggestion is to supply better frying pans and pots for cooking, some were a bit worn.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Five Birches! The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is beautiful, and tucked away in a forested little area. The snow on the trees, the warmth of the fireplace, lots of books and puzzles made for a restful weekend with family. We will be back!!!

We would definitely stay here again.
