About this condo rental
Enjoy the best of what the amazing Central Gulf Coast beaches have to offer! Redington Shores is a tranquil paradise nestled between Indian Shores and Redington Beach. Along with all of the other spectacular Central Gulf Coast beaches, Redington Shores is known for its sugary white sand, pristine emerald water, terrific shelling, and fabulous mom-and-pop restaurants and shops. We have just completed a total renovation of our corner beachfront condo unit and it is ready to occupy. The style of the décor is coastal or “beachy.” Everything in the condo has been replaced with new items, including all appliances, flooring, air conditioner, furniture, kitchen cabinets/counter tops, bed mattresses, box springs and sheets, interior paint, and much more! Our corner unit is located in San Remo Condominiums, which recently has undergone several updated projects to its building and charming beach-pool/hot tub area. The large, lovely pool/hot tub area is located right on the beach, only a step away from the amazing, soothing waves of the Gulf and offers a spectacular view of the Gulf sunset while you relax in a beach chair and sip a latte. Our condo has high speed Wi-Fi, and a television in each bedroom and in the living/family room. The new leather sofa has a quality pull out bed big enough for two persons. HOA rules allow as many as a maximum of 6 persons to stay in a 2BR/2Bath condo. Our own guidelines are: at least one adult must be over 25 years old. Also, our condo corner unit, although beachfront, has only a partial view of the Gulf from the balcony. The balcony does have an excellent view of the intracoastal waterway and the bridge, which is beautifully lighted up at night, and also has a view of the parking lot and tropical Seabird Sanctuary next door. Redington Shores is ideally located and close to almost everything: Madeira Beach and its trendy John’s Pass Village, downtown St Pete and Clearwater, awesome restaurants and live-music, cozy beach hideaways, airports, grocery stores, shopping, ball games, aquariums, museums, kayaking areas, bird sanctuaries, miniature golf, golf courses and theme parks. Experience the surrounding towns by hopping on the Jolley Trolley and enjoying the many sights and activities known to the area. We offer a child and baby friendly condo. We have a pack n play, highchair, baby dishes and utensils, outlet plugs as well as several beach toys. **Please Read** The building exterior construction has been completed as of April 2024

The stay was overall satisfying. We stayed for a week and were warned about the construction in progress. Although the construction was annoying, it did not affect our enjoyment of the property. We loveed the pool and spa area.

The condo had everything that we needed. The location was great as well! We enjoyed being out on the balcony and being able to see the beach. Check-in was very easy and we had great communication with the owner.

My son and family moved to Florida from NJ. Wanted more than 2 beds and a toilet. The condo was decorated so nice and the lay out very nice. Bird sanctuary next door was a true bonus!! Pool area lovely. Construction going on which I was aware of was no problem at all. Hoping to return soon

The owner was very communicative and responsive to all of our inquiries. The condo unit was extremely clean and well equipped for our stay. This was our fourth time staying at San Remo and we would stay in this unit again. The unit has been recently remodeled, the bed was comfortable, plenty of linens and kitchen utensils.
The pool and access to a less crowded beach was just a few steps away. This is a smaller condo complex, which we like. The pool was never crowded, which is where we spent most of our time. We used the charcoal grills twice to grill fresh grouper from the fish market just down the street.
There is currently some construction going on but it did not interfere with our stay. We knew this from our past stay and communication with the owner. Any minor inconvenience dose not outweigh the great experience of staying at San Remo or this unit. We will be back.

The condo was immaculate and had everything you could think of for a wonderful stay. The living room furniture and bed were so comfortable. A great place for a get away close to the beach. Highly recommend!!

Our condo was perfect for our getaway. Very clean and had everything we needed. The appliances are very nice. Every type of kitchenware you could need is provided. The storage unit was a plus! Was stocked with all the beach essentials. The listing describes the unit to a T. Would stay again!

We booked this property for a week stay, arrived to the property, and promptly demanded a refund. We arrived at the location to find that the entrances blocked off by construction fencing. Finally figured out how to get into the parking area and saw that the third story balcony attached to the condo was being held up with metal supports with a 6-inch section of railing missing and covered with plywood. This is dangerous and unacceptable and was not disclosed in the property listing or correspondence with the property manager. A very disappointing and stressful start to our July 4th vacation week.

We were not notified of ongoing construction. The condo itself is nice and clean, newly remodeled and accommodated our family of 3. More than that it would be too small. The balcony looked structurally unsafe. There was support jacks with railing wired to them. Monday, raw sewage was running through the parking spaces by the front entrance. The elevator was lined with quilted padding. I assume it was to protect the walls from taking up building supplies. The pool maybe shared community property with the surrounding houses.
Would not stay again. Cost was 3K and it was not worth it.

This was a wonderful condo! Very newly remodeled with all the amenities! Everything you could possibly need while on vacation is at your fingertips. Beautiful views of the gulf from the spacious balcony. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of room to move about. Very short walk to the beach and pool. Lovely Lovely place to stay. The manager was an absolute delight to work with. Very pleased!

Great condo for the week at the beach! We loved that we had laundry in the condo. The pool is right next to the beach and both were perfect! It wasn’t busy when we went but met great families at the pool while we were there. My boys loved it and said they never wanted to leave!
The condo was super clean when we went in! There is construction going on on the other side of the building but it never disturbed us!
Only downfall is the birds a couple things down. At times you could smell it outside. Inside the condo wasn’t an issue at all! Thank you for the stay!

This rental was a win! With the pool right on the beach it was very convenient and there was a whole storage locker full of beach toys and gear. The building was under construction during our stay so we couldn't be out on the balcony which was a shame since you could see the ocean from the balcony. But Lori apologized and offered a small reimbursement for this situation without me having to ask. Also you could still see this view from the master bedroom. All in all, I was super happy with the cleanliness and amenities!

Favorite Family Vacation!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location, Nice small town area and not overcrowded! Lori has everything you need for the beach in storage… from chairs, umbrellas to kids toys. Also fully stocked in condo with necessities… Toilet paper, paper towels body wash etc. the little things you may forgot about. Was every bit worth the 11 hour drive for us, Our Favorite Vacation so far!

Not the vacation we expected.
Can't Access Building upon arrival codes are wrong. Stood outside for an hour. Unit is not clean on arrival. Linens are stained with body fluids? No cabinet locks as advertised. No access to pool on day 2. No key fob from owner until 6pm
after many calls/emails. Roaches everywhere had to throw all of our food and snacks in garbage that were left on counters. Spent 1.5 hr every morning bleaching hard surfaces and disinfecting property so we won't get sick from roaches. Exterminator hired by property owner has no effect on infestation. Refund offered on Memorial day if we canceled last 2 nights. No vacancy anywhere in town due to holiday.
300$ refund is inadequate for dealing with issues with this rental property. We request 50% refund Minimum for our less than terrific vacation, Spent many hours making calls sending text and emails cleaning/sanitizing praying the bugs would not get in our luggage and follow us home or make us sick. Very unsatisfied after saving for years for this vacation.
Feel like we were ripped off for dealing with all this. Please
provide additional refund immediately. We have picture evidence to prove all of these claims are accurate.

We had the perfect week of weather! Beach was plowed mid week to get rid of some seaweed which was nice. Pool gates were broken half the time which was a huge pain. The beach access door was also broken half the week and someone constantly had to walk around to open it. We never got laundry detergent after asking for it several times. Condo itself was completely updated and gorgeously beach decorated. Rental gave us access to the owners beach closet which was fully stocked with beach chairs, kids toys, an umbrella and lots of floats!!! We also utilized the pack and play and coolers for the week which was nice not having to bring our own from home!!! Would definitely stay again if it weren’t for the noise and smell that came from the bird sanctuary next door!!!!

Spring Break Getaway
Our trip to this Redington Beach condo did not disappoint. As frequent travelers to Florida, this was actually our families first time to the Tampa/Clearwater area. The condo was beautiful, fully stocked, and better than described. The location was great. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Had a great time with my young family. The description was accurate. Everything was clean. The pool was warm and the beach was perfect. Lots of sand toys and floaties for the kids. Not much to do in the area and didn’t see many other young families around. My kids had a blast in the pool and sand so weren’t looking for more to do. There is a park and ice cream shop within walking distance.

Condo was just as described. Very clean and well decorated. Most well stocked place I’ve ever stayed in. New pool area is terrific. Warm heated pool and hot tub. Easy commute to Tampa and St. Petersburg. Lori was quick to respond to questions.

We took advantage of the trolley service all week rather than renting a car - a much more affordable option - and with stops just outside the condo it was so easy to visit Clearwater Beach and John’s Pass for some great shopping.
The pool was clean and right next to the beach so we spent time at both areas daily. We even saw shooting stars sitting in the hot tub multiple nights!
Beds were so comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We did grocery delivery via Instacart so we were able to cook many meals right at the condo.
A 7-11 and some restaurants are walking distance, which was nice.
There is a lot of traffic, which made it a little loud for sitting on the deck, but other than that, you can’t beat the location!
Lori and the housekeeping team were very accommodating on our last day, too, when we requested a later checkout because of our flight time.

Perfect getaway for Christmas
Our family of four adored this place. The pool area was recently remodeled and gorgeous. With easy access to the beach, my son and I skim boarded for hours each day. During our beach walks we saw dolphins, sting rays, octopus and more. Communication with the owners was very clear and prompt. The unit, to our surprise had a gorgeous Christmas tree prepared which offered beautiful Christmas photos. Overall, driving down from Wisconsin to spend family time in this unit will be a top memory for us all. It was difficult for us to leave.

Everything as described and for a very fair price. Much larger than comparable properties.
Overall a great experience and will definitely keep in mind for future trips. I’ve stayed in many places in this area and the space was very nice and in an ideal location.
