Located in North Side, this attractive condo for $452 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Brand new furniture throughout and paddle boards and kayaks December 2019! Stunning beach and ocean views, brand new furniture, modern decor, fully equipped kitchen. The condo boasts granite counter tops, travertine marble vanities, ceramic tile floors and central air conditioning. A beautiful view of the ocean can be enjoyed from many of the rooms. The open plan kitchen with breakfast bar is perfect for entertaining and leads to the dining area. The living area is bright and overlooks the private screened in patio. In the huge master bedroom you will find a king size bed and an en suite bathroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room, sleeping 6 people in this condo very comfortably. On site is an infinity pool, hot tub and lots of comfy sun loungers with plenty of shade for beach days. You are literally on the waters edge so perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and boating. A few steps away is one of the coolest beach bars in Cayman with an awesome vibe, new vintage coffee shop and a fine dining restaurant 'Upstairs', voted one of Caymans best restaurants time and time again on trip advisor. Rum Point is less than 2 miles down the road with another fabulous beach, beach bar and restaurant. There are lots of lovely peaceful walks to be had straight from the condo as well as the public beach just a few steps away with kids play area. This condo really does have it all!

Location could not be improved upon. One level, beach front, best ever location. Sunsets, docks to fish from, beach front restaurants, walkable to Starfish Point, Rum Point, and the Bio-bay.
Pool with good chairs, hot tub, not busy, generally quiet, hammocks and water toys. Fabulous sunsets, and the bay is sheltered from the winds.

The property was exactly what we expected and fantastic! That part of the island is quiet and low key. The condo is located in a beautiful, little isolated neighborhood surrounded by water, nature and lots of peace and quiet. Pool was great, beach was great and just walk out the screened-in lanai into the sand. Plenty of beach loungers around the pool and in the sand. Very well appointed unit and TONS of extras that made the stay so fun - kayaks, paddle boards, beach toys. Everything you could ever want inside the condo made the stay convenient and easy. Place was clean, property was professionally maintained everyday. Highly recommend.

Excellent Location
Overall decent experience - stayed for a month. Check in process had wrong information written on the Home Away listing but owner was able to figure it out within 15 minutes.

Location was great for exploring the North Side & East End of the island. We arrived New Years Eve. There was a nice party going on at Kaibo next door. We chose not to participate this year since we traveled all day but it definitely looked and sounded fun. I was a little worried about the noise level (and fireworks at midnight since we crashed early) but there was no need to worry. Property is very sound proof. Did not hear the fireworks, the band or the neighbors above!
There were a lot of regulars in the area that we met. Some have been coming to the same property for 6+ years. I can see why. It is a great place. I highly recommend.

Nice and relaxing getaway
Wonderful place. We were there busiest week of the year (Xmas) and it did not feel crowded at all (unlike the two days we spent at SMB). We made full use of the three kayaks (all of them in great shape, two new). Took us around 20 mins to reach Starfish Point and we passed a whole colony (?) of starfish on the way over in a shallow bay in front of Gardens of Kai. It was surreal. The garage also had two paddle boards that we did not use.
It’s a two min drive to Rum Point which has some fairy good snorkeling (but lots of crowds esp when a cruise ship is in town) and 15 mins to Barefoot Beach (some of the best snorkeling in GCM).
The condo itself if clean and well done with literally everything you need in stock. The beach in front always had an empty beach chair or two plus a hammock so there was no need to rush out early in the morning and grab open space.
If I had one complaint about this place, it’s that the beach is more like a bay than an ocean. There were no waves. Which is true for all of Kaibo and most of the North Side. On the flip side, that makes it ideal for kayaking and swimming.
Samantha is a great host. I forgot my work phone there and she promptly mailed it over to my house, thank you! All in all, highly recommend!!

Nice location on Northside of the island which is great for those that like outdoor activities. Unit was as advertised. Only issue was cleanliness of location when we arrived. Plates were placed back into cabinets that were dirty and wet towels were left in the washer and dryer.

Beautiful
Rum Point and Kaibo, was everything and more. We were all so sad to be ending our vacation. We have already decided to come back in 2 years with the while family.

Very well equipped condo. Very clean and comfortable. Pool was great. Owner responded quickly when we had some plumbing , WiFi and Cable issues. All resolved within a day. Quiet location and Starfish point is close and a better beach.

Great Place!
We just returned form our 2 week stay at this lovely condo. Nicely decorated and has the greatest view of the bay. Master bedroom has a tempur-pedic bed!! Hoping to find it available on our next visit to Kaibo.

Great condo for families
The condo itself is very nice with nearly everything you could think of for a beach vacation. Plenty of beach chairs, towels, drying rack, there was even some leftover sunscreen from the last guest. The proximity to Kaibo yacht club is extremely convenient and sting ray tours leave right off the dock. The beach was a bit disappointing if you like to float and play around in waves close to the shore. There are no waves and the sand drops off or gets murky just a few feet in. We much preferred seven Mile Beach for a beach day. The only disappointment about the condo itself was the kayaks- they are in poor condition- all the bungees are broken off and only one has a paddle. Other than that it’s a fantastic property.

Quiet relaxation
Very well maintained property and surroundings. Clean, quiet, away from main tourist areas. There are restaurants next door with casual, formal dining and espresso bar options. Perfect for a family getaway.

Wonderful place and so relaxing....
We stayed 4 to 18 Apr with our 2 sons and absolutely loved it. The condo is modern and well equipped. You can just step out onto the beach. We decided to stay at Kaibo instead of 7mile beach and so glad we did as we travelled around the island each day to different beaches and whilst 7mile beach was amazing it was so nice to come back to Kaibo. It is well positioned...star fish point is just a few mins walk and Rum Point was 2mins in a car. The condo had good air con, nice size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen is perfect to self cater. Good wifi which pleased the kids, Couldn't fault the place and left with so many happy memories. Owners were responsive with any questions that arose.

Awesome place to stay!
This was our first time staying in the Rum point area and we chose the Modern Beach condo at Kaibo Yacht Club and it was perfect! Great location the beach and pool were right outside the door and the condo was the perfect size. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location, comfortable accomodations with excellent appointments.
Condo was excellent (4.5 star): best attributes - clean and well supplied; master bed was outstanding/comfortable; kitchen was well supplied (although I would add a splash screen and a medium sized whisk). Location near the yacht club was great!! Pool was fun, immaculate and the neighbors were fun and interesting! View and access to beach was great; near Starfish beach; two kayaks were available that we enjoyed! Snorkeling equipment was nice but my son is 6'4" and it didn't fit him.
Opportunities for improvement - second bed was really too soft (maybe needs replacement); couch and chairs were not real comfortable; bucket to wash feet in was old and developed a crack while there (minor inconvenience); but the major issue was that the second day I arrived (for a 2 weeks stay), the condo roofs were being cleaned/spray washed and a near neighbor was renovating his condo and so the construction noise (power saws and power washers) started at 9 a.m. and continued non stop until 5 ---- the equipment was very, very loud, the power washers were placed on the beach side of the condos so they were 10-20 feet from me and the condo had no windows or doors to confine the saw noise --- and I literally could not enjoy the pool or beach during the weekdays. They finished cleaning the roofs the Tuesday of my second week, but the construction continued until the Friday of my second week. The neighbors who had vacationed there for many years at the same time said this was the first time the noise was an issue. I contacted the owner by email the second week and he checked into it, apologized, but I assume there was nothing to be done. It would have been nice to have been offered a discounted rate for a future booking (we would like to come back next year) but if the roof cleaning is annual, I am not interested in a second visit where they do not do noise abatement (e.g. they could have put the power washers on the street side and limited saw noise to a few hours per day or required window/door installing to buffer the noise). Having all the workers trooping around me was not pleasant. I achieved about 40% of my needed relaxation because of the noise issue. Owner was very nice, professional however, although forgetful - didn't send information on access, directions as promised ("forgot"). I had to contact them through VRBO two days before I left (no phone number provided in listing) but it worked out ok.
